Kudos to you Oz. I think it's important to not cry wolf every five minutes....   If there are legtimate concerns then fair enough but we have to apply reason and logic at times because some

Make sure you don't let them shoot your pineal gland, let them shoot your wrist or elbow fold, it's more accurate and wayyyy safer. I don't know what the long term health effects are but it can't be g

I watched the video FBG ... and the first 25 secs makes an excellent point about the psychological effects of  acquiescing to an authority figure pointing a gun like device to your head and pulling the trigger !! ...Many times a day !!

But the rest is nonsense  the red targeting laser on this device is LIGHT !! It cannot penetrate the skin , nor can IR .... this is basic science ...so your pineal gland is perfectly safe  ...The silly nurse who raised this concern needs to go back to school !

  • Tissue damage may also be caused by thermally induced acoustic waves following exposures to sub-microsecond laser exposures. Repetitively pulsed or scanning lasers involve a thermal process wherein the effects of the pulses are additive.

Actually ignore that one ^ i may have found something more scientifically sound. IR lasers can be used to treat depression, PTSD etc, temperaturre guns could maybe be changing our cognitive functions?

Also found something interesting. The treatment itself is applied by shooting the forehead with IR Lasers. https://behavioralandbrainfunctions.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1744-9081-5-46

Many studies have reported beneficial effects from the application of near-infrared (NIR) light photobiomodulation (PBM) to the body, and one group has reported beneficial effects applying it to the brain in stroke patients. We have reported that the measurement of a patient's left and right hemispheric emotional valence (HEV) may clarify data and guide lateralized treatments. We sought to test whether a NIR treatment could 1. improve the psychological status of patients, 2. show a relationship between immediate psychological improvements when HEV was taken into account, and 3. show an increase in frontal pole regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF), and 4. be applied without side effects.

We gave 10 patients, (5 M/5 F) with major depression, including 9 with anxiety, 7 with a past history of substance abuse (6 with an opiate abuse and 1 with an alcohol abuse history), and 3 with post traumatic stress disorder, a baseline standard diagnostic interview, a Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAM-D), a Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), and a Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS). We then gave four 4-minute treatments in a random order: NIR to left forehead at F3, to right forehead at F4, and placebo treatments (light off) at the same sites.

Conclusion

This small feasibility study suggests that NIR-PBM may have utility for the treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders and that double blind randomized placebo-controlled trials are indicated

From this link ...

"Can Infrared Light Reach the Brain?

Can 0.5-W LEDs penetrate human scalp and skull to reach the brain? The answer is “No.”2 My colleague, Larry Morries, DC, and I showed that these LEDs did not even penetrate 2 mm of human skin. In contrast, our laser device, which emits infrared light in the range of 10 to 15 W, was able..."

So a 0.5W laser cannot penetrate 2mm of skin ... the small cheap targeting lasers in  these temperature guns are much much less , about 0.05  watts ...

In this medical study they are using 10 to 15 W ... the laser would be the size of a suitcase.

Also important to understand the targeting laser is RED which will penetrate even less . IR is infra red , it's the way the gun measures temp ...detecting the IR from the target .

Kudos to you Oz. I think it's important to not cry wolf every five minutes....

If there are legtimate concerns then fair enough but we have to apply reason and logic at times because some people want to promote irrational hysteria in the truth movement... Discernment is the key.

And we know that it's ONLY infrared at a certain strength - how ?

I don't trust anyone waving around some government issued device.

My elbow or wrist or nothing.

Just use some common sense. The thing is only a small battery powered device, probably drawing on 9 volts. As Oz pointed out any kind of lazer or device that wanted to do you harm would have a power pack the size of a briefcase.

That's technology as we understand it. Who knows what is really available ?

Really? They're gonna have high-tech space weapons at the local corner shop huh?

Easy way to find out. Get a job as one of the temperature taking minions.... I don't think any qualifications are required, and find out for yourself.

You guys are getting jumpy over nothing...... I dread to think what shape you will be in when the world really goes tits up and the death squads are for real.......

You're already terrified of 9 volt batteries..... and jumped up non-entities whom you call Gestapo...

Keep your powder dry......you ain't seen nothing yet.

Maybe.....but no-one is pointing anything at my head 😉
(my body my choice)

You're far too sensitive.

You have to do a genuine threat assessment.

The key to survival is know what represents a genuine threat and what doesn't.

It's no good quivering and falling apart over nothing because you won't be ready when things really get rough.

Not saying I'm super tough guy Rambo surivival maniac, because I'm definitely not. But I know what I ought to fear and what isn't worth sweating about.... because I am in full anticipation of genuine threat one day and it is that which I am mentally preparing myself for.... not this silly nonsense.....

I always laugh about the temperature shit anyway. I say 'don't shoot' and raise my arms...... who cares......

If this is the worst they can do........ but I know it isn't.... and that's what I'm working out for.

Yeah all this pineal gland shit doesnt resonate with my chakras.

Getting you to satanise your hands all the times is going to cause an epidemic of OCD obviously with the children & no good for your immunity.

I refused to have their lazer thing & told them it was ridiculous & they wouldn't let me see my doctor, they also wont let you in the hospital.

So you end up having a drama over nothing.

I got good news this morning, they have given me an ultra sound appointment for Monday instead of waiting a month, so should be able to see a specialist about my stomach injury.

Yes, use common sense which you dont. All lasers IR or not over a certain wattage are by national standards REQUIRED to have the  famous

yellow triangle symbol (or other symbols info) to indicate DANGER,  so if you stare into a silly 5 buck 2mW laser led module it WILL damage

your eye sight even make you blind. And some  of these modules can even be driven by 1,5V its not about power source, its about LED efficiency

v.s input power.

At least use common sense and read some basic Wiki (not that i recommend Wiki) material first.

They wouldn't point it at any other area of your skin - wrist / elbow..?

LOL  😂
No quivering here.....just don't appreciate people pointing electrical gadgets at me, tiz all  😉

Alright..... but if it means your poor old dad who suffers from obstructive pulminory disorder, like my old dad, isn't snuffed out before his time, is it too much to ask?

I know a lot of people think it's fake... but it isn't. It's a really really bad man made flu....

And the UK should have closed their borders and kept the fuckers closed to be honest.....

But that's probably why they kept the borders open, because it's the agenda to wipe out the old people....

And replace them with fresh young rapists and muggers of different shades of brown who are daily arriving by the boat-load on the south coast of England.

Those people it seems, are the future of England.

That's what you SHOULD be getting mad about.
