Thanks never read that one, not sure what it means.  Who is Jesus according to this record ?

I'm definitely not any type of scholar on religious texts. But as far as I know it is the very same Jesus we know throughout the bible - but the story of his early years - which is omitted from the traditional bible.

I have no idea whatsoever, but Christianity is very difficult to understand ... much more difficult that the Eastern traditions.

The practices in a Church do work if you do them, that I know.  And the parables are useful.

But who was Jesus, I think that is not known really, how did he have so much power ...

What really is his message ?

I don't know.  Like if you believe in God and make some radical insight into truth, is that what he intends, or are we supposed to develop power like him?
Most Christians though well meaning, they just talk about all sorts of things that don't seem very relevant.

Jesus' Christianity is probably not for very many, so there is an outer teaching for the wild beast people.

That's not the Ark. That's just some wood on a mountain side.

You're leaving out the fact that it's shaped like a boat and is roughly the same length (515ft vs 510ft)

And if there ever was an Ark, it would've been stripped for its timber the moment it hit dry land.

Because Noah and his family would obviously want to immediately rebuild rather than find a suitable place to start farming.

Yeah I'm not sure that the bible was intended to be an historical text (although I could be wrong), more a book of wisdom which imo it certainly is. I especially enjoy reading the Naghammadi. Some of the writings in there are a great read. Especially Jesus in his early years going around zapping people!

Apparently it's true .... in the Gospel of Thomas. Jesus was a little tearaway in his younger years.:classic_biggrin:

I’m new to Christianity so I agreed to study with a teacher, this lady who found me online and showed up at my house!  So now she is my teacher. 🙂

My Bible teacher decided to start me off studying Revelations.  I guess we’re going hard!  She also believes we are at the end of things and is not messing around.

She's right Michi, I suspect that we are at the start of this 7 yr tribulation & a few more years to go and wallah, as all things written in revelation are now coming to fruition.

I know many on here do not believe in the written word of God in the Bible but it is my duty as a Christian to warn you all to repent & believe on the name of Jesus because we are living in the Last Days, can't you see that the book of revelation now reveals how Satan is coming into play ?

We are all living in what is called the 'Tribulation' which is going to last for seven years. We are at the beginning of this seven year tribulation. There is no pre-rapture as many may falsely claim, there is only the one final Day, Judgment Day, where we shall all have to give account for our deeds done on earth. We shall all be raised, whether dead or alive, to meet with Jesus in the air, some to eternal damnation and others to heavenly bliss to live with Jesus for a thousand years.

As we go through this seven year tribulation it would be wise for one to believe in the word of God, for there will many who are going to die, 1/3 of the worlds  population to be exact.

Many Christians are going to be Decapitated & Martyred for the their belief in Jesus & many who have taken the vaccine (the mark of the beast) will break out in sores ,these people will crave for death but shall not find it.

Life as we know it on earth is only going to get worse & it's not going to be a pretty sight.

This message was given to me through the grace of God to warn all.

May God Bless you all & save you from these troubled times

Save your Soul

Amen

The rise of the Antichrist, is conditional upon the removal or stepping aside of the KATECHON, the restrainer. Another word for that is grand monarch. Your spirit will guide you to reveal the AC.

The book of Revelation wasn't written for Christians. By Christians I mean the Bible's description of Christians as disciples who followed Paul's teachings.

Society is blind to the signs of the times as they were in the days of Noe; herewith my explanation on who the antagonists are that blind us, there was a post about the trinity, very interesting to see it played out here also:

(1) The Dragon

Rev 12:3: "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth" 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

(2) The First Beast

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his a power, and his seat, and great authority." - This beast represents those institutions of all sizes and types that supply the means and the muscle for the dragons work.

(3) The Second Beast

Rev 13:11-12 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, ed." This beast is the propaganda minister who propagates the false theology and false philosophy of the dragon which seduces the leaders and members of the nations into believing happiness and security are to found in fame, wealth and power.

re KJV ... I have been looking at little at different version and I think the original Douay Rheims is the probably the best ... it is much calmer and less 'rousing' than the KJV.  The KJV is a great bible to read on the deck of a British ship of the line whilst you are cruising round the colonies it rouses your spirits.   But the DR has a much more sane and calm tone about it, so maybe you can listen to it without your blood getting pumped up.

... I get the sense that psychotherapy is more valuable for humans than religion in a way ... humans really need it

I’ve noticed some researchers follow the KJV of the bible. Like you say not many here believe in the typical religion, heaven and hell etc. Maybe a form of higher loving consciousness. Either way, we all know that religions are corrupt, ruled by satanists, and religion has been a great tool for divide/ conquer. With these religious books being changed over time and or corrupted, what makes the KJV an exception? I think this is the one that people refer to Jesus Christ as Jeshua? Also how does this tie in with Judaism/ sabbateanism, they reject the idea of Jesus/ Jeshua don’t they? Plus follow some dark stuff

@Seeker   Are they?  Or is that just what the press says about them?

One of mankind's great games is to stand outside and tell you everything in there is corrupt ....

And another important thing is ... everything is corrupt ... but are you inspired to uncorrupt it?

The first five books of the Hebrew Bible, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch, were translated in the mid-3rd century BCE; To my knowledge none of the scriptures have been changed, just translated from Greek into English.

The oldest scriptures from 3rd century BC reside in the Vatican.

Not all Jews reject 'Jesus' especially those who live in Palestine, why do you think that the Palestine's (Who are the original Jews) are being persecuted today ?

KJV is the latest incarnation of the scriptures. so of course it's been changed

You don't think subtle meanings have been changed due to the original translation, scholars are still arguing over interpretations today

Then we have to old testament and the new testament , what was wrong with the old one ,you know the one about the vindictive god that sits up in the clouds with a lump of 4x2 just waiting for you to stuff up. If the bible wasn't re hashed into the  KJV version for political purposes at the very least it was a PR job for the new feel good god

ALL of the mistranslations and distortions are known.

How do you know , when scholars are still arguing over it today, and if there is mistranslations and distortions as you say  that would indicate that it has indeed  been changed, for corrective purposes if nothing else, instead of political objectives which I would suspect.

The lazy are fed dumbed-down, secondhand, half-truths from rumors and media, accept them instead of finding out for themselves, and opine despite their ignorance of what is actually written.

The idea that the antichrist is some current president or character in the future is false.  Terms that originate in the Bible should be examined using the Bible, not idle imagination.

Upon studying the Bible, the antichrist is revealed to be the apostate church, and those who seek to undermine and distort the original Christian religion.  John said two millennia ago, “And as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists” 1 John 2:18.

In end times “knowledge shall be increased” Daniel 12:4.

Study of the Bible alongside historical events reveals that all the prophecies have thus far come true.  We can also learn from misinterpretations made in the past.

Understanding Revelations, in addition to the literary techniques employed, requires learning about the tabernacle, which was configured according to divine specifications and positioned to match the heavenly sanctuary.  It requires knowing the atonement procedures that occurred in the sanctuary, which is comprised of the holy and most holy places, and is a shadow of what happens in the real sanctuary in heaven.  It requires understanding that Christ is our intercessor and minister in the sanctuary in heaven, and the distinction between passage of time on earth and time in heaven.  The book of Daniel is important to understanding some of the book of Revelations.  The dreams in the book of Daniel are concerned with the rise and fall of geopolitical powers, and so is Revelations 13.

That said, look at the how Revelations 13 characterizes the end time to determine whether it describes the modern age.

Papal Rome is the little horn power that arose out of the fourth beast, Rome, in Daniel 7.  “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws” Daniel 7:25.  The papacy is also known as the first beast rising out of the sea in Revelations 13.

The second beast rising out of the earth that has two horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon is the United States government.  The lightning that came down from the sky are the atomic bombs that were dropped around the world prior to and during WWII.  This is when The US became a world superpower.

The second beast (US) deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image of the first beast and gives breath to it.  The image of the beast that the United States tells the people to make is the modern state of Israel, which was recognized as an independent nation by the United States in the year 1948.

Harry Truman, who influenced the United Nations to support the decision, was the 33rd president of the United States and a 33rd degree Freemason.  “And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who do not worship the image of the beast to be slain” Revelations 13:15.  The newly formed state of Israel was populated, given political power, and was involved in many violent conflicts.

Given this geopolitical interpretation of Revelations 13, is the mark in verse 13:17 the six pointed star, the Star of David?

The mark, name, or number of the name is received by all to buy and sell, but not worshipped by all.

In Revelations 14:9, the third angel makes the distinction “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on the forehead or on his hand, he also will drink wine of God’s wrath.”

If the mark was literal, like a microchip or vaccine it would condemn everyone who has been forced to receive it.

Is the mark of the beast a spiritual as well as a literal one?
