Hug a Horse (Dog/Cat)

In these terrible worried times around the world and ANTISOCIAL DISTANCES/LOCKDOWNS from fellow humans it’s worth hugging a horse (Dog/Cat) as these produce negative ions when hugged/stroked and is proven to reduce stress. No ridiculous laws to stop this! I work/breed Clydesdale Horses (Gentle Giants) to save the world and use traditional sustainable methods. (You cannot share lunch with a diesel machine and burn hands in wintertime on the exhaust unlike on the mane)

@Woodsman lovely pic there of your gentle giant and it looks very scenic there.  Guessing in some respects you feel quite removed from all this Covid nonsense as you're unlikely to encounter the muzzled when working, presumably logging?

Hello. Yes Thanks. He is the Stallion and called Trojan (wooden horse of Troy) Nice views here and miles from the crowds and lockdowns. (I cannot imagine those forced to live a cruel life in blocks of flats at moment) I could not use a face muzzle as have to voice control the horses when logging. (No blinkers as dangerous with branches) We are looking at doing some relaxation breaks in future to those who need this to keep sane. Camping and Chilling.

animals are great, good for the soul, we have always had dogs  but we have quite a few wild animals here that we live with, even have a satin bower bird that has lived on this property as long as we have ,they love blue things in their bower which impresses the ladies apparently,  he dose very well for himself because I leave a blue milk bottle top just above the bird bath for him every 3 or so days

@Woodsman great pics again, thank you.  Do keep them coming!

It’s been a long wintertime (2 Metres of snow and down to -34C). Now tropical at +6C and snow is melting in the springtime sunshine. (More pictures to follow in next 48hrs) Much horse manure to pick and use for the vegetables.

The horses have an area to roam/exercise and poo in during wintertime. Soon a big task (using the horses and tools) to remove the manure into the storage place to then use for next seasons planting of organic veggies. 14.7C in the sunshine and -4C in the shade with a nice breeze. Manes and Tails and backs due to be brushed and provide soft materials for nesting birds.
