SHEEPLE VS TINFOIL HATS

I have tried figuring out what separates the two. Why is it that some people go through 11+ years of the 'education' system and come out a system slave zombie, whilst others go through it and retain critical thinking, lateral thinking etc? This is an interesting topic for conversation.

Is it genetic predisposition or are there other factors? What is your opinion? Parentage may not be an issue. My Sister and I had the same parents, but she is a system slave, whereas I have always been questioning the system.

Your thoughts on what separates these two groups ???

I think it is based on wisdom which is acquired over time depending on individual cognitive abilities and experience but also ones sense of independence. I have no doubt that our education system is set up to target the vast majority of people to become obedient slaves like the prols In Orwell’s 1984 but with life experience I think many begin to see through the lies. How deep you look into the lies is possibly down to intelligence but there must be other factors including ones sense of independence vs the need for comfort or guidance of parent like figures.

From my own experience, I would say that people who have had more "life experiences" tend to fare better, because they have had to figure stuff out.

Interest for "the truth".

Luck... if the bbc is all you know, you need "some luck" to find yourself outside of this alternate world.

In my circle I'm sorry to say the biggest supporters of the system are university graduates.

I totally agree, their learned(?) Professors tell them what they should believe, when and what they should demonstrate about. They are brainwashed. Today, not only universities but even primary schools are engaged in brainwashing.

I was on a train one day, in 1986. Opposite me was a man and a little later, two youngsters came in. The train was pretty full, so one sat beside me and the other beside the guy opposite. The youngsters started chatting to the other guy. I just ignored them. They were backpackers in the UK from Australia. The other man was a secondary school teacher. He carefully explained during the journey, that he was a math teacher, but most of the time his job was to teach the students racial tolerance, multiculturalism and socialism and how he encouraged his students to date students of a different colour to themselves.

I just kept quiet, but I was utterly horrified. So glad I don't live in the UK, but it's the same everywhere.

That's easy, well in my opinion anyway , age is the main  factor, in my day you were taught a logical progression of thought while problem solving and also lateral thinking, these days all they are taught is to look up wicki shit and google , what hope has anyone got. In my day your brain was in your head if you were a dickhead your brain traveled to your ass ,now every bodies brain is in their pocket in a mobile phone , people can't remember  addresses or phone numbers any more,or can't use a street directory any more or god forbid trying to find your way out of the bush or tell the time via the sun, technology is great but if you don't know the basics when technology stops working your fucked because you can't think for yourself and in my opinion the system no longer allows you to do so.

Neither sheeple nor tinfoil hats are in the right place, there are other categories.

And both sheeple and tinfoil hats do contribute something to society.

Without sheeple there would be no society at all, there would be death.  Society requires people to be organised and stick to certain rules and do the job.  No ultra freedom anarchy does not work, only in your mind.

Tinfoil hats peel certain corners and notice problems, but often for no real result and it just ends up being an attack on everything and everyone ... attached to the dream that if only bad people stopped then everything will magically work out.

So they have pluses and minuses.

But like I said there are other categories that are less common.

You should also remember that over the years exams (and teaching) has been dumbed down so that "The Less Fortunate" and you know who they are, can get passes and entrance to the universities and learn all about "multiculturalism", smoke pot, get pissed every night and get laid as many times as possible. A university degree from Harvard is about equivalent to GCSE.

A USA ex-Harvard lawyer, had to get out his calculator to divide by TWO.

For Microsoft exams the rules for "Minority Groups" were different. First they were given the answers, second in a NO TALKING, NO CONFERRING Exam, they talked and conferred and waddya know, they still FAILED!!! How do I know. I WAS THERE SEVERAL TIMES.

Education today is BRAINWASHING, nothing more, who gives a fuck about science when you can get a degree in 12th Century French Poetry or 14th Century Basket Weaving or how Whiteness is Bad.

I can confirm this is definitely true. I was one. Not a very 'good' one, but I could definitely see the way they were just accepting everything they were told. I didn't.

I only completed about 20% of secondary school, if that. I basically took myself out of the education system after junior school through epic truancy. Even when I was in school I generally just sat around and pretended to work. I don't know if there was any special reason for it, it just seems to be how I am. So I didn't go through the full programming thing. The schools I attended were shit anyway.

I did try adult learning gcse courses once or twice but dropped out after a couple of months. One English course was a class full of women, led by a woman tutor, and the work she gave us was mostly feminist drivel. The first and last straw was giving us a Fay Weldon book to read, about a disgruntled middle aged housewife... Fuck off. I was out of there, and she knew it as well. After that particular lesson she said "come back next week!" and smiled. I smiled back and thought no chance.

Yes, I went to a Technical College(?) I went to learn Adobe Flash. That was in the days when Flash was popular. The teacher(?) read out of the book they handed out and when you asked a question, he had to go and look it up on the web. After 3 weeks of that shit, I told him where he could put his course.

Another one worth mentioning. I applied for a part time night school teacher in a Technical College in the Midlands. I did an ARIC back in the '60's and one of my subjects was Maths. A dumb woman interviewed me and just kept grinning. She took me into a separate room and gave me a student's GEOGRAPHY paper to mark.

There was very little in the way of punctuation, so I took out my red pen and made corrections. The spelling was atrocious. Out of 4 questions she gave me, three had the WRONG answer and one, with a bit of imagination was close. I had to mark out of ten, so I gave him 1/10.

The woman was horrified.

"Oh no, you can't correct spelling and grammar, this isn't an English class and all the answers were correct, he just didn't answer the exact question. It was a good try. I would have expected at least an 8/10."

I'm afraid I was VERY rude to her and I walked out. Needless to say I didn't get the job!

Summed up by Robert Pirsig as - 'Static and Dynamic' systems of value...
