Maybe they get something for it ... the idea to clean up your past is a good one. The idea to have a closed church so that they animals outside down eat all the good stuff is also good. They rely on the past, study the past, repeat the past. Rather than learning to live now, to create now, to learn new things ... by going yourself into the world and feeling with your hands and thinking with your brain. When people say they are "learning new things" ... what they mean is that they are copying somebody else's "old things". The sense of personally exploring existence to make own life and own ideas and own conclusion, and being self-reliable, self-capable ... this has withered away. People therefore just live trying to recreate the past. Never feel or think for themselves. They are a SLAVE. Never has idea that they are born good and supposed to be here. Scientologists do try to strip out large amount of bullshit from past; this must be good. Otherwise die with bullshit still covering you. Also people spend lot of time criticising the past. Everybody is stupid in the past, not like me in 2020. People who lived before progress were stupid, but now I have Iphone. Hmm. British were evil in India, because India so nice everybody very sweet and pet squirrels not eat. Everybody was very very very nice in history, not like evil British or evil American or evil ..... (insert whoever). This logic is based on some silly things: a. I am smarter than man who lived in past b. Society is better than society of past c. Human beings are not donkeys d. In past everybody very sweet like Bambi movie except for evil bad guys These ideas not very solid, more like jelly ideas. But when he was in Oregon the Hollywood rainbow arrived with drugs and guns and rainbows and destroyed everything. Of course it's safer not to be in a cult. On this planet humans always attack something new, bring it down like lynchmob. Hate anything new. Only like misery that they are used to then die in peace, die all through life, die when alive, die when die. Anyone tries to do anything else ... bring him down. Osho techniques similar like scientology ... designed to clear out shit from inside subconscious. Many people believe inside them is very clean and all world problems caused by ... some bad guy out there. Not me ... everyone else is doing it. Wrong. You are doing it, inside you is big mess. Many people try very hard to not clean anything inside them their whole life. Very crazy planet. This is why there are cults ... in order to do anything new must have closed doors, or wild beasts tear you down. Unfortunate but true. No other way. Of course corruption everywhere.
