Reinstating the old moon thread from pre hack. All cache data is lost but there is a screenshot of the first page and our memories so will recreate as much as possible. Im sure lots of good new contributors will add stuff too.

What is the moon. Theres lots we think we "know" about the moon many of the accepted "facts about the moon have been debunked by even the mainstream media and accepted science.

For example most people believe the moon is a dead lump of solid rock with no atmosphere, no water. A dead ball.

However the moon has been shown by NASA to have both an atmosphere and water.

https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LADEE/news/lunar-atmosphere.html

this reads:

What is the moon's atmosphere made of? We have some clues. The Apollo 17 mission deployed an instrument called the Lunar Atmospheric Composition Experiment (LACE) on the moon's surface. It detected small amounts of a number of atoms and molecules including helium, argon, and possibly neon, ammonia, methane and carbon dioxide. From here on Earth, researchers using special telescopes that block light from the moon's surface have been able to make images of the glow from sodium and potassium atoms in the moon's atmosphere as they are energized by the sun. Still, we only have a partial list of what makes up the lunar atmosphere. Many other species are expected.

AND

Until recently, most everyone accepted the conventional wisdom that the moon has virtually no atmosphere. Just as the discovery of water on the moon transformed our textbook knowledge of Earth's nearest celestial neighbor, recent studies confirm that our moon does indeed have an atmosphere consisting of some unusual gases, including sodium and potassium, which are not found in the atmospheres of Earth, Mars or Venus. It's an infinitesimal amount of air when compared to Earth's atmosphere. At sea level on Earth, we breathe in an atmosphere where each cubic centimeter contains 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 molecules; by comparison the lunar atmosphere has less than 1,000,000 molecules in the same volume. That still sounds like a lot, but it is what we consider to be a very good vacuum on Earth. In fact, the density of the atmosphere at the moon's surface is comparable to the density of the outermost fringes of Earth's atmosphere where the International Space Station orbits.

Many people also believe the moon is hollow. When Apollo 12jettioned the lunar module NASA scientists recorded what sounded like a bell ringing for over an hour.

Carl Sagan one of hte most respected cosmologists we have ever had said in his book "intelligent life in the universe" a NATURAL satellite cannot be hollow.

Im sure we will get onto whether we can trust anything the mainstream say about the moon during this thread and I am massively interested in others views on this topic.

BTW the phrase "any other species" are expected ...is a direct quote from NASA and I have no clue what it is doing there in that transcribe. It seems out of place.

So, why, if there is already an atmosphere and water on the moon are we spending so much looking at colonising Mars? And why is it really only accepted knowledge amongst "conspiracy theorists" that the moon is much more than just a lump of solid dead rock?

imodium then replied :

there's virtually zero atmosphere on the moon whereas Mars has more and, we could possibly terraform in the long run. the one thing we are good at is screwing up the climate, a runaway greenhouse effect would be a piece of piss.

To which I responded :

Mars is also much further away and expensive to get too and takes time 150 to 300 days to get to depending on launch schedule. Notwithstanding the huge impact on human health for space flights of that length. The moon takes, what??three days and could be serviced by shuttles like the space shuttle program and could also be serviced by the existing ISS  program. And if, as you say, we are good at screwing up the climate (I see you buy into that hoax) then whether Mars has a better atmosphere or not shouldn't compute in a climate change mentality like yours.

At this point Imodium who was a shill, got the sack and left the forum 🙂

Memeber bflat posted a lot of moon photos and flags which I cannot replicate unfortunately

there are lots of credo mutwa and other contributions I'll try and replicate too but for now @ink then shared this video which is excellent and a worthy starting point for the thread

What book is that from? I've read similar in 'plea for a flat earth'. I couldn't get any further using the descriptions there.

Sorry NN .....I've forgotton , I took a screen shot of it a good few years back, I think it may have been 'The Cold Sun' or something like that.......

Methane and carbon dioxide are very interesting, with regards to carbon based life forms, I'm not saying they are definitely there , just an interesting choice of gasses coupled with water molecules

IMO  the moon is a giant mirror/looking glass which reflects earth back to us;

We have over 80 pages of the flat earth thread then in the space section with regards to the gravity error it was turned into a flat earth thread and now when we are trying to have a logical discussion on the pros and cons of the moon the first thing you put is is more flat earth crap, we have the invisible dome and now we have a mirror , are you trying to kill this thread as well.

I couldn't care what you believe , flat earth ,tooth fairy, Santa ,it makes no difference to me ,but for Christ sake could you give flat earth and religion a miss ,just on this one

@peter, I haven't mentioned FE or religion in my last post, so what are you talking about ? I only mentioned the moon may be a giant mirror ?????

Ludicrous. The "giant mirror" presents the exact same "reflection" no matter where it appears on the entire surface of the Earth.

Yeh ,it may be made of bloody cheese as well ,but I doubt it

The fact that you take that particular screen shot out of a book then conveniently forget which book its from, bollocks!, pull the other one it has bells on

The moon definitely has some very strange anomalies ,eg gravity, age, construction and material to name a few. However one of the things that I find very interesting is the lunar wave first filmed in 2012 by crow 777 who subsequently had his channel removed by shit tube for asking what the hell it was, another fellow who took up the banner called secureteam has since had his channel removed and all his video content is missing. This lunar artifact has been  debunked with such explanations as equipment glitches ( which it clearly is not) to aircraft con trails passing in front of the moon ,which I also find ludicrous. It appears between the week before and a week after the winter solstice and always   in two , one after the other and always parallel however the time between the two varies and the start and finish varies ,meaning one year the pulse may be left to right  the next may be right to left

Any opinions as to what is going on as info is rather sketchy ,however it apparently has been filmed by other amateur astronomers quite a few times now however the powers that be are keeping a rather tight lip

Honestly I did, this was a good few years back, what reason would I have to lie ?

Is the Moon a being, and if so what is it's nature and relationship to the other planetary beings?  It is possible to listen to these celestial creatures.  They make different sounds.  Like a squirrel makes a different sound to a bear, and you can know their character from it.  I'll just post the sound of one of these creatures the Earth, which has a lot of action on it.  The sound is the electromagnetic emanation of the being that is converted into a listentoable frequency.

I would ignore the graphics and just listen ... what is it saying?  Compare with the Sun Moon and other celestial bodies.

Another mystery, according to the tracks burned into the recovered moon rocks by cosmic rays indicates  the moon appears to be billions of years old ,some as far back as 4.5 billion years ,older than the earth and nearly as old as our solar system, also if the earth and moon were created together why did the earth get nearly all the iron and the moon not so much and the iron it did get has different fundamental properties than the iron found here on earth

Well it wouldn't it, ? Think about it.........🙄

OK, I thought about it. On a flat Earth(your off topic claim) It's a distance where it cannot POSSIBLY see the entire surface of the Earth, therefore it will only reflect what it can see. And you roll the eyes at ME.

IF it can see the entire surface, the entire surface sees IT all the time.
