Why was Piers arrested and not David too?

Not putting anything out there, just an observation and some questions;

For what reason (other than the spurious - violating health stuff) was Piers arrested and him alone? Was it just so he had a lift home avoiding all that 'getting out of there and home stuff', like at a big concert (only joking?).

Why was David not arrested when what he said was pretty good stuff and even included an appeal to the police - very important (although this was drowned out somewhat) I get the impression David was not an organiser, is this so?

David was not an organiser no. This particular demonstration was arranged by a collaboration of different groups, which I think is a really appropriate way to be organising these type of events as it will make it alot harder to stop us!

It seem they arrest peirs at nearly every event he speaks at, no matter how large or small. I don't really know exactly what they're arresting him for and I would also like to know more about why this keeps happening.

Poor Peirs!

Fuck Piers.

So who else collaborated with StandUpX?  And BTW we still don't know who's behind them. Apart from some toss named joss who wouldn't give his 'real' name to RT

Please elucidate Peacegiver.

Been looking into why Piers Corbyn was arrested, so I put his name into Google, hit the news tab and this is the first article that pops up. Nothing really about Piers Corbyn in the article at all. DI is making enemies is bad places... So yeah, is odd they took Corbyn and not Icke.. maybe they were using their new powers to arrest and fine organizers of illegal raves? I think P.Corbyn is financing StandupX to some degree. He also has another website Stopnewnormal.net.. Where does his money come from? Selling weather forecasts? Good call Nobby. We don't know much about these people really...

David left pretty much straight away. As did the others. Piers always hangs around with everyone else (the protestors). Maybe that's one reason? Also his brother is in politics, so perhaps another reason. And Piers is involved in organising these events and helping people with cases/charges in relation to the lockdown.

His brothers a cuck & wont say shit.

Piers will get funding for his offence, which will probably get dropped out of court anyway as unlawful like the other fines during lockdown.

Still the statist cockroach so called left on twitter find it most amusing a man in his 70's has been locked up for free speech 4 times now..trying to make out hes part of the British union of fascists.

Tbh who knows the real reason. I'm not sure what Piers' deal is. He could be genuine, he might not be. We won't ever know for sure. I do find the multiple arrests weird especially recently as there really isn't any grounds for it. But I'm going to remain positive and say he is on our side. He doesn't get any media attention anyway and the little he does get is always negative so I doubt he is controlled opp, but like I said... We can't know for sure. Just go with your gut I guess.

Lol I doubt he has anything to do with that. People talk a lot of shit online.

i heard he got arrested because he has been banned by the police since May, to attend demos.

Do not know how true that is though.

The same question could be asked of why the police didn't just simply arrest everyone who attended the protest?

Technically, if no-one was standing more than 2m from each other, they could have busted everyone for 'social distancing guidelines' or 'mass gatherings' or some other nonsense.

But they don't, and can't, because on this occasion they are vastly outnumbered. They make a 'token arrest', and go for the 'easy target', in this case the 73 year old pensioner (Piers Corbyn).

Piers Corbyn also spoke in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago. The crowd was much smaller, couple of hundred at most, and there were 4 or 5 police officers stationed at the end of Colmore Row. They didn't seem particularly bothered about the protest, and didn't look like they were in the mood to arrest anyone.

And as it happened, no-one got arrested, not even Piers Corbyn.
