I was in a pharmacy recently. I observed a lady wearing an N95 mask under a full plastic face shield. She was also wearing surgical gloves, and touching dozens of products with the gloves on. Then she reaches into her purse with the same gloves on, spreads the germs all over her credit card and other purse items, then gets into her car and touches her steering wheel and gear stick with the gloves on. All the while thinking she's a Covid hero. The world has gone insane.

Saw a lady get off the bus take off her medical mask and shove it in her pocket.. 

No doubt to be pulled out again next journey.

All the germs from the bus itself now on the mask, on her hands in her coat pocket... tricked into doing 'the right thing' by the dgas govt.

As a middle aged woman whose name is not Karen, I can assure you that many of those who are fully invested in the mask wearing and sanitizing bullshit are younger people.  I personally have fought back against this bullshit at every opportunity and have a couple of friends including one who actually is named Karen, who stand their ground wholeheartedly and have done since March. I agree with your post re how to deal with those who behave like morons re the masks etc... but do we seriously have to be equally moronic with the ``Karen`` lunacy...  It used to be ``Kyle`s`` that got the flack...either way it gets nauseating.

Now we have minimum wagers,for whom I used to feel some empathy,issuing orders to the dirty pox-ridden scum daring to enter their shop:

 

"Walk that way"

"Cards only (literally no fithy lucre)"

 

My response,having Oscar Wilde's wit and Cary Grant's style,is to tell them to make like a good sheep and flock off.

I don't wear a mask either and avoid people and shops as much as possible as the atmosphere is sooo dead and serious. Sometimes I have to go into a shop which I do without a mask. I don't even have one. Until now, nobody said anything but slowly these awful masks are pushed to be mandatory. If this will be the case, I won't go shopping there anymore. If me and my roommate shop together and we have to wear one, he goes inside the shop as he doesn't mind wearing a mask and I wait outside. But most of the time I get my things delivered. Avoiding people is a bliss and instead of going to shops, I go into the forest and have inner peace.

Supermarkets are run by the arses in power, shop local to keep those businesses alive or lose them forever. Here in Mexico Coke own lots of stuff the most popular being the OXXO stores that are a kind of 7/11. As an american owned entity the face mask Nazi-ism is rife and staff trying hard to enforce it. Nobody care sin other shops though. Only the big US companies have those mandates here. The main difference is those disinfectant mats in all doorways, which I just walk around, dont want that shite to rot my shoes thanks. Uber is big here, and they have similar mandate.

You might be able to use the law against those who enforce the law who may not know they are breaking it, but its hit and miss whether they are going to operate within the law or under the chain of command in disregard. There's also the issue about the way the parliament has been behaving since John Major where they basically believe they cant be bound by a previous parliament to the extent they have already destroyed their own constitutional foundations. The Magna Carta has been repealled. Parliament has no more authority since its basis for authority was built on that. People believe in parliament and its not longer a parliament operating within the law but something more akin to a war machine against the human livestock. Television is the master of the house of commons. The will of the people is irrelevant to it. Outside of making sure the poison cabbages will be round up ready, our best bet is to make appeal the power of the monarchy. A monarchy isn't ideal but its more just than a fake democracy where the ordinary people don't even realise that they have no power.

hmm well who do you think owns all the big delivery firms and supermarkets? They are pushing people down the road of not shopping local, hence killing small business an ultimately only leaving big corporates to own everything...Think a bit more before you fall into this trap. Use local as much as possible, or lose it for good.
