The manslaughter sentence was quashed and now he is likely to receive substantial compensation. Sorry to post this story, I know it's not nice..... but we can't ignore injustices like this... Could you imagine if the roles were reversed and it was a black woman and a white man who had done this? They would be rioting in the streets. It would be world news and he would never see daylight. I'd rather not speculate on facts until I explored all sources I can find.
