Ingo Swann and remote viewing

Recommended Posts

I've been distracted by everything 'going to hell in a handcart ' around me that I forgot some of the things I learnt when I first woke up.

I read several of ingo Swann's non fiction books and was getting quite good at the remote viewing techniques he teaches.

Having spent the last 5 or 6 months distracted by covid I'd stopped practising.  Got back into it yesterday and am having some successes again. Will post links to his books and some of the techniques

I first learnt of ingo swann through reading books by Russell Targ.  A friend of mine was in military intelligence and is quite high up in mufon and he recommended I read some of Russell's  work.

So I read :-

Limitless Mind: A Guide to Remote Viewing and Transformation of Consciousness. San Francisco: New World Library. 2004. ISBN 9781577314134.

And

The Reality of ESP: A Physicist's Proof of Psychic Abilities. Wheaton, IL: Quest Books. 2012. ISBN 9780835608848.

Wanting to know more I then got hold of some of  ingo's work and the book 'Everybody's Guide to Natural ESP: Unlocking the Extrasensory Power of Your Mind' was easily the best. This is my opinion is the best place to start. It contains simple exercises that really start getting your brain / consciousness/ unconsciousness...whatever...in the right place.

One of the best ways to get quickly into a meditative state (for me anyway) is to download some form of binaural beats 'music ' . You need probably an eye mask too to get the sensory deprivation required.

The biggest thing I'm learning is not to try and interpret what I see..Just draw it ..once you start practicing you will see what I mean.

For example you might see what looks like a set of steps. You will immediately try and put a label on it to what you know. It's a staircase etc. When if you draw it you will realise it could be the side of a pyramid or a theatre circle. You need to keep an open mind and not let your conscious filter step in and interpret it for you.

Here's a thread on Swan .....

Hi,I saw that oz. But felt it was more a mollison thread.

I don't like channellers , I dont trust them. I've given them a fair hearing. That's my personal view. I dont like that ickonic has mediums on it when di says he thinks the afterlife is part of the reality hack.

But if it helps others then that's great. And I don't pretend to know everything.

This is to be about people honing their own personal skills which everybody has and most have forgotten or handed over to others.

So as part of remote viewing learning I've been practising with the Friday night lottery euro millions.

These were my scribblings. And below is the ticket. I stupidly ignored 15 and number 37 was wrong entirely buf all in all not bad.

The winning numbers were 10 15 35 44 50 lucky stars 03 05. I drew two stars and couldn't understand what I was seeing. 44 was one of the numbers - a prime example of not interpreting what you see as conscious mind but take the shape for what is is. Also remember the unconscious sees mirror images and upside down as easily as what we perceive as the right way up. So 52 can be 25 etc

ingo or indigo???

All his works of fiction and non fiction are under the name Ingo Swann.

I've read them all and have never seen him described as Indigo. Could be a shortened form I suppose.

Edit.  Nope everything I can see says Ingo Swann.

@kj35 glad I'm not the only one here. I've been pinning my hopes on the lottery for a while. I have a neurotic belief I'll win.

I'm going to give it a shot. I did some remote viewing in the past with a few good results.

Let me know how you get on. I've a good hour set aside to do tonight's will report back. Good or bad.

Ah great topic.

There is a book which you can download for free (I did) Remote viewing secrets a handbook by Joseph McMoneagle.

I believe he was one of the pioneers of the project.

Yeah very interesting stuff remote viewing.

I did a course as an Akashic Records consultant and there is definitely some overlap.

Haven't had the time to practice the techniques of RV which I think takes some serious dedication but very interesting and I love the history behind the project and how it was used after the cold war to detect the location of minerals and also kidnapped victims.

Thank you Mr H for the link, I have started it already. Heres a weird one: thought id do something out of my ordinary and share this ah thing? .. so I finished reading Penetration, superb reading!!  so obvoiusly I'm going to try this out, so few nights tried to calm mind etc not very successfully, thing in a box with the wife helping, some success with that but very small, so i was cream crackered one night was late 12ish laid on the sofa and thought I was gonna Ave a go at looking on the moon , now this is the bit,( imagination? Wishful thinking? ) so I got well relaxed started to drift off and what appeared to be a blurred outline of a figure there was colour but its foggy with some weird speaking or some sort of noise and I swear it felt like when you go to opticians and get the blast of air in the eye ball, wasnt no where near as strong but, at the time I was instantly wtf sat bolt up right, even now typing this the adrenalin is surging! But like I said imagination is a superb thing. I've dismissed it as stupid till I told my wife earlier, she then told me about she had had an outer body experience when she was younger and spoke with her dead grandad!!! So there I've shared. 🙂

personally as one who has remote viewed, am having trouble engaging with all speakers on this topic, as have seen a few things that would have massive implications and no remote viewing expert has mentioned those. So basically am of the opinion that they are all misinformation

had another go last night (prior to reading) and funny cause I thought I should draw this time -  I didn't. So as I went on to read; with out following strict protocols , its not remote viewing. So the result I shared and what I should have drawn were two completely different things! Would appear my self delusion is quite grand! Which I suppose is true having spent best part of the last 20 years telling myself ignorance is bliss ( blue pill) it ain't!!!

Even the things you've seen? Or just everyone else?

what have seen in that state (bodyless) is most likely to be true. Even if just in an astral dimension linked to this world. There's a connection and a relevance.

Ingo Swann describes exactly what I've seen. So I trust him in as much as I trust anyone.

I've also described in depth on this forum my experiences.

I'm very sceptical of anyone who uses their 'experience' as a means to debunk others experiences without ever  actually clarifying what their 'experience 'actually was. As if they were all knowing holders of 'spooky ' powers.  I call bullshit.
