Self employed grant

So they have just given the next load of grants to the self employed . Quite large grants too . Many of the guys I work with havent had a single day off during lockdown but they were accepted for the grant. Some receiving £7000 for the first grant and now £6,500 for the second all just done with afew taps on the iPhone and boom thousands of pounds given.

My query is why are the government handing out large payments so easily ? Are they simply been generous (unlikely) ? Is it an error ? Is it going to be demanded back next year in the hope most people have spent it leading to debt ? Or are they throwing billions about The place to crash the economy ?

its taken on the percentage of profit, and if they have made losses etc because of the lockdown

i didnt get a quarter of that because im a start up.

and no it wont be demanded back unless they were given too much etc

its to help those that have been badly affected by income

But it doesn’t go on that . Majority of the guys I work with (over 10) have all been working throughout the whole of lockdown and have recieved both payments . And I have read online that majority of people it has been the same . The government aren’t checking if their earnings have been affected . Seems mad to just hand out such large amounts of cash for nothing .

yes it does

it's based on precious earnings.

i have no idea what their earnings are but if the tax man reckons they got it falsely then it will have to be repaid.

The tax man will look at their end of year declaration in a few years time

I received universal credit only as I'm fairly recently self employed so lost out on my Summer/Autumn contract.

To be honest it makes me sick that people got the grant whilst not losing out on earnings and people like myself and many others get next to fuck all.

Most wealthy countries have "Secret War Chests" full of money - hundreds of Billions in hard cash reserves that are completely "off the books".

Its a simple system. The government falsifies its accounting books and pays - say - 5 to 10 Billion Pounds/Dollars/Euros into the Secret War Chest every year without telling anyone.

When there is a major crisis - like a war, a natural distaster or economic crash - this money that "officially doesn't exist" suddenly materializes out of thin air.

Wealthy countries don't need or want to "print money" in a crisis. They typically keep massive caches of money hidden where nobody can see it.

It is the poor countries that cannot build these "War Chests" - they are already struggling just to keep the economy from sinking. They cannot put large amounts of money aside.

Your missing the point . I know it goes on previous years earnings but it saying people who haven’t had a day off sick / loss of work due to COVID are still been granted large amounts of cash . I was asking is this a mistake ? Is the government been generous (unlikely) or are they going to bite them in the ass in the future

So you think the government have dipped into their secret stash of money and thrown around billions of pounds ? Seems too generous on the governments behalf in my opinion . I know guys who haven’t had a single day off work through the “pandemic” and they have recieved £7000 first payment and £6500 second payment. Seems mad .

well yes they are claiming fraudently.

It's just a little carrot and what I receieved was no where near the amount I should have gotten if this year didnt go tits up.

A lady who organises high end sex parties got over£100k I think.

She was even discussed in parliament

Since Killing Kittens was discussed in the House of Commons regarding the Future Fund investment, we have seen a surge in global press. The current list of countries that have covered the story so far include; USA, Latin America, Russia, China, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Indonesia, Romania, Greece, Korea, UAE, Poland, Ireland...

Thank you Future Fund, Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak and the chancellery, British bank, and Jeff Lynn from seedrs for showing Britain is a forward thinking country, embracing differences, proving that KK is a legitimate business and supporting innovative technology.

KK – rattling cages, creating headlines and dividing opinions for 15+ years.

We are all going to bitten by the ass in the future because all that money will have to be paid back somehow, they will raid pension pots, austerity, pay for NHS treatments, higher taxes etc

The more money is lost in the economy the longer the time it takes for a country to balance the books, this means the larger the national debt the more in control the bankers and financial sector is in. The government it putting the country into a massive debt spiral in order for those who are in control to stay in control.

The financial sector already controls everything worldwide. It has been that way for decades. It is just coming out into the open now.

What did people think the bankers were doing inside their ugly steel-and-glass skyscrapers? Feeding the poor?

This does get me a little miffed. I'm self employed (Property Maintenance among other things) I didn't shutdown during lock-down and haven't claimed  any money. I just hope the people who have claimed while still working get bitten in the ass if a few years time over it. but realistically we will all end up paying for it.
