What the fuck are the UK government playing at? it's the holiday season and many people are in France on holiday and many have holidays booked , they did it Spain and now France , this is gonna fuck up the tourist industry and cause more stress for people who may have to self isolate when they return home especially if they have to work , they really are taking the piss, I have a Paris holiday booked for October looks like it will be the Blackpool tower instead of the Eiffel tower if I cant go but no doubt they will lockdown more towns in the North west, what a bunch of cunts ! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also it's only the rich and super rich who dont need to worry about quarantine while the rest of us have to get back to work after a cheap package holiday. I am sure what you say will come about, and in the case of Alitalia it has already happened. With the current, continuing situation of things being drawn out to death, with social distancing, masks, re-introduction of travel quarantines, a second lockdown hanging over our heads, not to mention the self-inflicted worldwide economic depression already baked-in there will be fewer airline companies. The massive tax payer bailouts for many airlines, others going to the wall or cutting back to the bone, shows the dire state of the airline industry. I expect some ferry companies will be nationalised, back to a situation when state railways, British Rail and (French) SNCF ran ferries.
