Realities of the hospital floor

Of course not all the things that happen in hospitals are bad!  It’s a great place to go if you’ve been shot or need a broken limb reset.  If you’ve overdosed, etc.

There are real angels in there, but mostly tired, normal people.

There was me, RN for a minute.  Hated it so left right away.  Especially disliked the double standard in vaccine requirements for nurses vs. doctors (money makers).  Deep down I couldn’t handle the responsibility because it’s immense.

Here are some of my observations from being on “the floor:”

People tend to gravitate toward what they think will help them personally.  In the case of nurses I met, they all had health problems, some serious, and wished to be close to what they thought would save them.  Many are on medications of all kinds and some are prone to addiction.

A lot (not all) nurses are staunch guardians of conventional medicine, of the status quo.  They are true believers as they have seen what they believe to be medicine working.

Healthcare workers put up defenses for themselves to cope with the death they see all the time.  Sometimes they come off as callous.

Had a patient who was “going down.”  Went to the desk where the nurses were gathered and they taunted me. “Michelle’s patient is biting it!  Hahaha!”

Yeah.  For real.

Once you learn to read charts you can identify medical errors that have been covered up.

Had one patient who was transferred from another hospital where they destroyed her kidneys with contrast dye.  She was in for something else.  The hospital transfer served as a cover from liability as the details got lost in the charting.

Do you remember in A Brave New World where the society kept people from being around death and the reality of dying?  Well that’s what we live in.  When someone dies it’s the nurse’s job to “sanitize” the scene so the family can enter and view the body.

So they they won’t see the messiness, the agony of dying.  So they can remain disconnected from the reality of it.   Same in nursing homes.

This is used as leverage in our society.  If people are kept from seeing, from being close to death, watching it happen, this natural process, death becomes taboo.  People fear what they don’t know.

So you see the ramifications of this out on the world.  Bunch of people scared of death and willing to do anything they are told will “save them.”

Well thanks for the honesty.

Perhaps it's a simple as this ... hospitals are places you go to if you want to die, you want help in committing suicide.

Wartime medicine was straight up, they weren't fucking around; even today some WW1/WW2 military doctors produced some interesting studies that are still good because the people were good .... including injecting hydrogen peroxide for pneumonia and cabbage juice for ulcers.  Hardcore medicine.

If the nurses are ill and taking pills why are they in charge of health?

Now the other day I heard about this immigrant ... he was a "journa-fucking-list" who although he lived in the West spends his time writing hatred of the West whilst living in a Western country.  Ill of course, serious disease of somesort ... full of hatred, full of illness ... yet this kind of diseased scum is writing the "culture" that is broadcast around.

Same with the popliticians, these are the shittest useless talentless lying scum fuckers.

Fuck all these people to hell.

The truth is ... they are all selling their souls and turning against the good.

But, the ideas are good, I'll say that .... hospitals doctors nurses government .... all perfect ideas, but, the people are scum.  They are incapable of it.

Anyway, from time to time you do see someone who works for himself.  Meaning wherever and however he works, he does a good job ... for him, for his own .. pride of living honestly.  It's not about money or a boss or whatever.  It's just that this person today tries to be a good worthy human being.

Connect yourself to somewhere else, through the teachers that have come here.

The only proper duty of a sane man living in this place is learning how to leave rapidly.

And nobody is going to join you on the way out.

Whatever they say, they don't get it.

People are insincere and insane.  What really is the point of the treadmill of life all this misery and crap, with the useless pick-me-up of a bit of booze on the weekend, a screw here and there, and a bit netflix?  What kind of life is this.  And then at the end you are picked up and thrown in a hole in the ground and then you are finally shut up with all your crap and nobody ever thinks about you again.  What kind of life is this?  Humans are just monkeys they don't know anything, nobody is doing anything to them ... they are doing it.  It's ridiculous.

Yet there were a small number of people who did not live like that at all.  And they were slain or undermined or shafted by .... everybody.

Many people talk about "the problems" but how many are actually going to do anything ... different?  Sure they can "get informed", after all that requires zero courage.  You could even write to your MP.  Or try accupuncture.

Shit ... it was not long ago when nearly all Western people once a week knelt and tried to reach something higher, and learnt from a book of wisdom that they used as a guide for their lives.  Wow.  Has not taken long to switch off the light.

RN = registered nurse ?   Why did you hate it ?  And didn't you have to invest a lot of money to get qualified ?

Yeah registered nurse.  Hated it because it was hard work for less pay.  Did a lot of throwing money down the drain back then.

I always have to read your stuff three times before it registers cause I’m a stupid useless monkey.  Ooh ah.

The light isn’t totally out, it just gets tired sometimes.  Not everyone has all that energy and drive.  Some of us are pulled in many directions and have to relish the occasional glass of wine.  And be thankful for it.  Humanity isn’t irredeemable, we monkeys do what we can at the right times.

I’ll probably go in the ground.  The more I read the Bible the more it’s apparent what a shit head I am!  And it’s not like I’m at the twilight of life where there’s no temptation anymore.  How convenient for those people.  I’m tempted at every turn.  It’s inevitable that I will fall again and again.  But yes there is nothing else to do but try to meet the standards.

Meditation is confusing, though.  There is no clear, straight objective.  Every guru has a different view and some say it’s to achieve nothingness.  Why the hell bother with that?

It is very difficult to understand Christianity, and I only feel I do now after many years studying Eastern teachings.  It's not about being a "sinner".  There is just a lot of baggage with Christianity and it's very very hard to see what it's about which is something like remembering a higher world whilst you are here.  It's not about controlling yourself so that you appear really nice.  It is simply to replenish your light regularly and remember the higher world, until that rememberance percolates the entire being.
Beating yourself up and judging yourself and being imperfect and worried .... has zero to do with it.

As for meditation, what you say is incorrect.  This world is full of asshole charlatans, I am afraid.
But real meditation instruction has clear practice instructions and goals.  For instance in traditional vipassana instructions the first practice to maintain contact with the bare sensation of the breathing (sensation of the air) as it flows past the rings of your nostrils.  So you rest attention there.  And your mind will continuously distract you with thinking and worrying ... but if you continue with this practice gently but persistently, eventually this single focus brings the mind to complete stillness and then you will experience something you have never experienced before.
Further on, when the mind is still and you are quiet enough to have interior access you try to sense your real self ... another way to express that is "who am I?" not words but ... does it dawn on you to sense your self?
And there are advanced instructions, for instance can you sense your self either at the back of your head, or at the region between the eyebrows ... these are 2 "chakras" (centres of identity) ... in the head.  In the body there are centres of identity in the heart, solar plexus and hara.  Those are the main centres.  But you should select one, preferably in the head, and work on it for several years until you full embody your sense of presence in that centre.

Today spirituality is being cannibalised by insincere people, they are destroying it and burying it.... but in truth those you find in regular practice on retreats, in traditional places, are better.  Nevertheless you should ignore everyone and simply do your best with the practice.

And, it really doesn't matter how much imperfect you are, we all are even the gurus.  But if you wish to try then any honest effort is worthwhile and a blessing.

And all the spiritual stuff is the upward journey, like shining a light into us.
But there is also the inward journey where we become more aware of ourselves, our habits, our darkness, our healing, our first love, entering into our lives more.  That is the second part.  Moving upwards and also inwards.

Last night I was examining my inner beasts; I have sad children inside, and violent black eagles with claws, I have loosh drunks inside, and many positive ones.  I spend time with each, maybe 20mins, and hold them and 'be' them merge with them, to become one being ... sometimes I speak to them but I wish to become one ... slowly many things dawn as a new understanding of the vastness of my inner being becomes known to me.  There are many countries inside that it takes time to learn about.  And the same is true for the upward spiritual techniques of prayer and meditation .. learning a technique properly and in the right environment in a evening class, or with music or insense, but then sensing and discovering "who am I here" who is this new part of me ... and exploring a new part of your world.  This self discovering, self tasting, self pondering is very important, slowly you learn more about yourself.

Human beings are quite lost.  They neither really comprehend how to go in, neither how to go up.  And so they go out into this unfortunate society with its images and try to make their lives based on external images.  Why?  Because that's all they've got.  They live strangely, outside of themselves.  But I hope I have conveyed something above about how a person can go both in and up ... which really means you go in to the lower nature and into the upper nature.  Both of which are important and help each other.

Had to do a children’s hospital rotation in school.  Went to the operating room where a 5 year old was having a procedure done on his cervical vertebrae (back of neck).

A doctor who just completed his residency, of Asian descent was doing the procedure while the nurses and anesthetist were chattering away about useless shit, listening to the radio.

The doc decided to silently undo the stitches and redo them differently so the child’s scar would be less visible.  Everyone let out a sigh and got annoyed.

A male nurse started bitching and taunting him loudly.  “Now you’re gonna make me stay late!  Just fucking hurry up and finish!”  He went on and on taunting the doctor.  He banged things around and even bragged that he could do it faster himself.  It was shocking to see.

The doctor remained silent, though clearly feeling the pressure, he continued to stitch the child with great care and complete his task.

If you look at everyday interactions with people, dating, social groups, work, it’s a numbers game.  The likelihood of encountering someone special or has something in common, or blind assholes, there’s always a ratio.

I’m not going to disclose all the horrible things, but in the short time I spent in the medical industry the amount of indifference was off the charts.  Stay away if you can.

Very interesting, thanks for the insight.  I had a lung op about 5 years ago.  I considered myself lucky that my op went very well, looking around the ward you could see the various Dr's names over beds, safe to say some patients fared better than others depending who they got!

I often remember a strange consultation with my surgeon.  He told me to keep away from Drs. He was a bit of a joker, but I sensed he was being serious, which unsettled me at the time.  Subsequently I had cause to see Drs during a distressing time for my own poor health and whilst helping my Mum with her cancer treatment last year.  I have during this time lost faith in conventional medicine and look towards alternatives, ditching pills and altering diet etc.  If I could, I'd never see another Dr.  I have met lovely medical staff during this time, (not all!) but a lot of the treatment seems to cause more harm than good and never gets to the root cause, ever. I said as much at my last hospital appointment.  The medic didn't disagree.  Even more unsettlingly.😐

Fake blood

Polyheme is a blood substitute derived from human blood.  Even though it’s “derived” from human blood, Polyheme  is injurious and fatal to some and carries a 49% higher death rate.

Hemopure is a blood substitute derived from cows’ blood.

Experiments were done on mostly unconscious trauma patients in at least 20 ERs in the US and others in S. Africa for years w/o consent.
Cause you know they were likely going to die anyway so why not do science projects on them for big pharma?
