Local groups...

Hello everyone!

New hear but not new to any of the discussions going on here and I used to check out the old forum on a daily basis.

Think I saw another post where someone suggested creating some means on this forum by which we can try and find others here who live in the same region and connect that way.

Going stir crazy not having a local point of contact with anyone who can see the horror that is at play and who does not want to go compliantly along with this endless, nefarious awfullness.

I'm in the Southeast of England, but can't easily get to London.

Alternatively, does anyone know of any online groups (is there such a thing as Yahoo groups anymore?)with people in the the Southeast?

Would really appreciate any feedback.

I once went to a few meet-ups on meetup.com they had an atheist meet up I went to a few times and a libertarian meet up that some interesting guest speakers. Haven't been for a while because of the lockdown and also because they moved the pub they meet at to the other side of London from where I work/commute from.

Hope that helps.

I'm always trawling through meet up groups and find it so hard to find what I'm looking for. I know about the one in London but, as I said, it's difficult for me to get up there unfortunately.

I'm in south east Kent. I just can't belive, what with living in these built up areas, that there aren't groups scattered everywhere... unless it's just a matter of people being reluctant to advertise these things.

I really don't want to, but I'm tempted to join Facebook or Twitter to see if I can find anything... Would niggle badly with me as I've been adamant never to join, but maybe now I might as well as a last ditch resort.

It's a great idea and I hope and trust you'll find success.

The reality is, the normal bonds of community have largely evaporated. Friends of family, stable social circles from school and work are all increasingly uncommon. People change jobs every year or two, and tend to move from one city to the next almost as frequently. The common bonds of language, culture and nationality are largely a thing of the past in many parts of the west, especially in large cities.

To put it simply, the corona hoax has made what was once challenging but manageable, a frightening and even unimaginable prospect for perhaps a majority of people these days. You can make do, just be at peace that there are many fewer options for real interaction at this moment than in the past. That's not to say things couldn't change on a dime....

Actually this is getting easier the more they insist on mask wearing etc, all you have to do now is go in a shop and look for anyone else who isn't wearing a mask and say hello, they'll be one of us 🙂

That is very true, I refuse to wear a mask and get the must amazing smailes from fellow non mask wearers. 😉  As for local groups...maybe thats an idea that can be followed up on.  Like minds have the most interesting conversations.

Max Igan started the Full Circle Project (fullcircleproject.net) and from that many of us formed small groups around the country to meet and chat with like minded people.  It was great for a while but dwindled and I've just looked for the full project website and it ain't there any more!  Does anyone know what happened to it?  It was a really good idea.

There is a 'new' David Icke Social in the works that was originally going to replace this forum, but it was decided to have it run alongside instead. It aims to be a new 'social media' platform, for those banned from Facebook, Twitter et al, and one feature it will allow is the creation of 'member groups' which could be used to organise local activity groups.

In the meantime, if anyone is aware of or organising any local or regional events - protests, demonstrations, rallies, or just general 'meet-ups' - please add them to the forum Community Calendar here.

I am looking for  free thinkers too. Another thing I really, really want is a travel group for anyone still wanting to get out of UK.

Im selling everything I own so I can get out and Im looking for a long term travel partner/s. Im based in SE UK. I will probably head to Central America first as many places are not locked down, especially Mexico, and things are pretty normal in most cases.

I want to travel until I find a cheap, relaxed, free place to live, ideally off grid in a community of like minded folk. I would like to sight see for a bit while it is still possible. I will be going this year, hopefully around October, maybe November depending on property sale.

If anyone knows a good travel group, travel forum, or has nay ideas for singles getting together to travel ( not just expensive organised tour groups like Explore etc), or is interested to join up with others, please message me or comment here of course.

I'll have a look at Keep Britain Free site.

I'm set to go and stay in West Wales imminently, Ceredigion/Powys area.

I'm aware of off grid communities thereabouts, but they all seem to fall under the banner of global warming alarmists, extinction rebellion types and the like.

I really hope from this that more communities in rural parts of Wales, Scotland etc will start to spring up.

There has to be some options left for those of us who cannot live in this control grid anymore.
