As I get older I get more respect for religion and religious people.

Although I don't think the stories are literally real, their teachings are largely positive - and living a life of religious values stops social decay.

I'll give a qualified agreement, there's a lot of good religion out there but the negatives can outweigh the positives for some people. Plus I've only ever lived in one country, England, where organised religion has a lot less social power than many other countries.

I live close to a church which does a lot of good community work with children, the elderly, disabled and homeless, without being evangelical and trying to convert people. I guess if you go along with your eyes open and thinking mind engaged you can find good religion out there.

Was randomly listening to some of the male red pill content.

What I found a bit contradictory. Is that they berate men who are simps, which means they do anything for the woman....

And tell you to be like them , super alpha so you can get dem babes.

This seemed a bit contradictory. Because all these men called alpha

Consciously changed their whole being, lifestyle, job, personality, body etc just to get dem girls.

Isn't this a version of simping?

I watched the end of the Man. Utd. v Wolves match this evening. I don't really care who wins nowadays, but I was and can probably still be called a Man. Utd. fan. How that wasn't a foul by the new Utd. keeper, right near the end of stoppage time, I have no idea. That was funny.

Football no longer belongs to the public, the ordinary joes.

Thankfully, this new Saudi League has so much money it's tempting all the mercenary bastards to piss off and play for FC Camel Toe in their lovely dustbowl stadia, watched only by premium subscriptions. Hopefully all the PL "fans" from Timbuktu will sod off with them, and the PL will eventually be eclipsed.

This has been a long time coming.

Have faith. It was the most blatant of penalties.

Maybe they will welcome Mason Greenwood as well.

I think it should have been a red card myself, for dangerous play, let alone a penalty. He realised he wasn't going to get there and he knew what he was doing!

"Germany is where you can defame anyone as a "Nazi" with no consequences, but will soon be allowed to pay 10,000 euros for calling a man a man. Where you can end up in jail for not paying a broadcast license fee and an Afghan rapist is offered an exit bonus. How much ridicule can a constitutional state actually allow itself to do before it loses its legitimacy among its citizens?" 🤗

Just to scare I suppose, a short vid in which the space crafty thing, looks like dropping speeding flash bombs or bursts, but just drop into nothingness? Dunno. Dunno. Dunno.
Camera scanned back from where the space crafty thing was going, nothing was landing.

The folly of personal responsibility....

What is personal responsibility? Responsibility of your actions.

Actions come from thought and feelings of which there is no control.

It is like me claiming I am responsible for smelling or seeing. But these are just activities I get to enjoy.......

Do you believe in free will and impulse control?  We may have desires to do bad things but a good upbringing will also teach us about how to behave well, so we should have a choice of options available to us, symbolically shown by the angel and demon on our shoulders.

I would like to believe in free will. I have never experienced free will, as a human. Humans are activities. Free will is an activity. Activities can't experience activities. The only one who has free will is I.

I would say in your example there are no choices. I the human cannot go and explore the world of thought, and select which is the best or appropriate.

The world of thought, comes to me. This includes decisions which are just thoughts.

I then falsely claim them to be mine in a typical example

I can put it another way. We know thoughts create actions which cause outcome.

If we had free will. We would in advance plan our thoughts out for the day, week ahead.

But alas this is not possible. We are at the mercy of the cosmos as to what thoughts we get today

Do we? You make a good point that thoughts and feelings just appear in our consciousness without our control, but maybe we can say the same for actions? Thoughts happen followed by actions which are in alignment. It doesn't prove the thoughts cause the actions, perhaps there are unseen processes in the subconscious which cause both, and possess the freedom and responsibility which we can't consciously see.
