(There's a lot of it about)

Huge plumes of thick black smoke billowed from the unit and nearby residents are being urged to keep doors and windows closed.

Witnesses have reported a 'big explosion' in the building - which is just yards away from the port.

Not quite an explosion, but there do seem to be a lot of fires happening:

I know it was a bit hot yesterday, but "third one in Hampshire", combine harvesters shouldn't be catching fire like that.

And a combine catching fire at 8:30pm?

Any patterns or timings to these fires and/or explosions? Directed energy weapons perhaps?

Another one for the list, happening right now, no explosion but a massive fire with thick black smoke:

Live updates - severe blaze at Tyseley Industrial Estate as smoke seen for miles around Birmingham

Thick grey smoke from the fire at Tyseley Industrial Estate can be seen from Birmingham Airport, the city centre, the Jewellery Quarter, Moseley, Digbeth, Edgbaston, Sparkbrook and many other areas

A propane tank was said to be the cause of a massive explosion at gas station in Russia today and there was a gas explosion in Baltimore, described "like a bomb" which destroyed several houses and left a huge crater. Causalties reported.

Mount Sinabung also erupted today. It's all happenin'

@Grumpy Owl not a million miles from there and there has been almost a complete absence of rain for some considerable time.  Some fell during one night, a shower really but that's all and humidity is very high.  This farm is surrounded by a fairly large area of fields with crops and trees bordering the fields.  If I was a landowner right now then I would be seriously concerned about the public using any public rights of way through their land as it would resemble a tinderbox.  Added to which nationally farms are experiencing valuable equipment and livestock being stolen and I think one of the other fires in the county was as a result of theft.  It's not a good time to be a farmer.

And another one here today...

...this time at the historic Cadbury Club in Bournville, Birmingham

Cadbury Club fire in Bournville - fifty firefighters tackle huge blaze at historic community hub

Six fire engines and a hydraulic platform have been sent to the scene of the fire in Bournville Lane

And it wasn't even hot today. What's with all these big fires lately? Any others being reported in other local news?

Yeah, because it's definitely a coincidence that there are fires and explosions happening EVERYWHERE. Clearly this is manipulated and done on purpose, a lot of food supplies/stock has been destroyed amongst other things I'm sure. We need more info and to note down everything that was destroyed in the fires/explosions. Perhaps there is a pattern.

True, the thing as well is that a lot of these fires will only be reported on by local news media, they will rarely make the national news too. If something co-ordinated is going on, this is a great way of concealing it, by keeping these stories buried in local news.
