myriam
Hi David,  Your point of view and mine are every similar, but I would like to have your opinion on our souls and the journey that we chose to incarnate and experience in this dimension. We came to this matrix of duality, to experience the whole. Is all of this just a focus of our attention?.. Where their is no bad or good actually, just the Source/Universe/God experiencing it self with all possibilities...  Thank you for your work and dedication.  Warm Regards,  Myriam
Mr H
Hey I don't think David replies directly to forum posts here!  I can give you my 2 cents worth and you can disregard or regard if it resonates.  "that we chose to incarnate and experience in this dimension. We came to this matrix of duality, to experience the whole."  Is this your actual experience or is this a belief?  "Is all of this just a focus of our attention?"  You can view it like this, mind is the glasses that we (consciousness) wear in order to experience an objective world. 1 true I, 1 true mind, viewing itself through many sub minds if you like, each with their own unique configuration, but emanating from the same source of consciousness  "Where their is no bad or good", yes, good, bad, like, dislike from the point of view from consciousness (the only true point of view), does not exist. That's part of the reason why we have evil in the world, from the point of view of the finite mind. Well that's how it is allowed if you like to exist, The reason why evil exists is because people have mistaken themselves to be something that they are not. rideforever
All of our awareness ultimately flows from "god", but ... does this help us? Here is a question .. when you sleep someone in China wakes up, so life lives on ... but do you? And if you do not live on but life lives on ... is that good enough for you?  If life lives on in somebody from China but you do not live on ... that what are you, because you don't seem to be "god".  So it seems that if I want to live on then something major is going to have to change. Is it going to change with just words, don't all the teachers of the world study and practice various disciplines for many long and difficult years? And if they did it, why wouldn't I have to do it? Human beings like talking ... but, did I really want something beyond talking?  Jesus, Laozi, Buddha all defined bad and good very clearly and at many levels. The specified the correct view of life, both in practical matters and in existential matters. This was wisdom, wisdom is when your intelligence can cut the white from the black with great accuracy.  Where then is this notion that not knowing the difference is any use? Is it not useful to know the difference between the toilet and the kitchen? It is very annoying to have a leaking roof. You have to think, and thinking is a headache. At the end you can save yourself the trouble by saying a leaking roof is just as good as a solid roof. It is all just the same. But is it ? ... no, it is not. But when you pray you do experience something beyond this world. But when you open your eyes you still have to fix your roof. You are adding wisdom of something new, but you are not destroying the wisdom of today.
