Dagmar Gross
On Thursday July 30th, it was announced that the Scottish Conservative Party Leader Jackson Carlaw resigned, after 40 years in the party. I knew he wasn't comfortable with the way Scottish politics were going when he said on the news (I watched BBC Scotland News) after Nicola Sturgeon had announced compulsory face-coverings in shops that he felt she had gone over the top with that! So, when they announced his resignation, my feeling about him was vindicated. I have been a big SNP supporter ever since I came to live in Scotland. I have always felt the Scots have been tremendously wronged by the Hannoverian government, which they have been ever since the battle of Culloden in April 1746. But when I realized, on the day of her face-mask wearing announcement that our First Lady is really a part of the Kabbal, at least she lost my complete support and until I see a liberation from this Kabbal in Scotland, I would be afraid to put myself even more into their hands. I really believed, as have so many other residents in Scotland, that we could steer a much more sensible and prosperous path independently from Westminster, but as has now been shown, at the moment we would be equally badly off whatever we did... So now, with his decision, I am seeing that Jackson Carlaw does seem to have a conscience and that is not allowing him to continue in his position, especially as there will be far too many members in his party happy with the path the country is being led down. That would mean selling his soul to the Devil too. Now it will be interesting to see who will replace him as party leader. The MP for Moray, Douglas Ross, has been mentioned, but how is he to combine this position with that of MP at Westminster? He already resigned from his post in the Scotland office after the Cummings incident, so he too seems to have a conscience. It will just be interesting to see what his conscience makes him decide... He is very young so would have the energy to combat Sturgeon, but we shall see... I am interested in this, as I happen to live in Moray and know Ross a little too. To me, he has always come across as a pleasant young man, only he does toe the party-line a bit too much...
HAARPING_On
Never trusted Sturgeon, (I don't trust any of them) and she becomes increasingly dictatorial with every passing day. She'd have been well at home in the Third Reich, some would argue she's cementing her place in the Fourth Reich. ZanderoBandero
Why the English still have any input on Scottish politics is beyond me. After years of systematic lies betrayal holding back funds destroying industry destruction of culture etc etc I'd have thought the English in Scotland would be consigned to history forevermore. Shows what I know lol Scotland is now the land that time forgot. Welcome to the deprivation
