I wont be surprised if they put it this out there to get the public ready for a 2nd lockdown.

If we listen they actually tell us what they gonna do beforehand without actually saying it.

been saying it from the start

We need to prepare ourselves for a second lockdown. Stock up on necessary supplies.

+1

They want the second wave to change society further.  If things were normal they would be positive and they would not be always hyping the COVID up with the worse case scenario. We would also be operating normally or as near as possible, not dragging on with all the post-lockdown restrictions and bringing in new detrimental restrictions.  We have had 4 months plus of Martial law and I suspect Parliament will rubber stamp its continuation when it comes up for renew.   BoJo is only saying what he is told to say, he has no more independence on policy than a manager at a branch of a supermarket chain.

Its so mad when people send him or his cronies angry messages on twitter, as if he reads them or cares.

It's beginning to look as though the ptb have had their hands forced by the number of people starting to wake up and smell the overwhelming stink. It appears they're already doubling down worldwide and will call a 2nd wave/lockdown within a few weeks rather than risk waiting for October and flu season, when the whole house of cards may have already given way.

Yeah I agree.... the riots thing didn't make it worse? But going to work and see family did? Bollocks!! I dont think they're going to wait now either. Bastards.

Totally agree, the stench of bullshit is becoming overwhelming.... And these headlines as Sunshine1 posted bear this out as it's all about CASES now and not DEATHS. Apparently during June testing in Leicester went up 7 fold so they are bound to get more cases and it keeps the fear factor up.

IT'S ALL BOLLOX AND THAT'S OFFICIAL!!!

Just been browsing the news stands in town and it's all over the press today about THE SECOND WAVE IN 2 WEEKS so you can be damn sure it's going to happen....

I was thinking about dates etc and a couple of things came to mind ...

1.) Second wave predicted by my reckoning on 22nd August which is convenient as these morons seem to like the number 22 don't they?

2.) 22nd is also the weeknd of the August Bank Holiday and they don't want people heading for the beaches and the coats in their droves as that will cause "an incident" or similar...

Possibly a few other reasons to throw in the mix as well... any suggestions?

There was always going to be a 'second wave', I believe that was the intention from the start.

I can't find the article now, but I saw on the BBC News website a story which stated that the number of 'deaths' in the UK was falling.

Yet the number of 'cases' is now apparently rising.

Well of course its the middle of summer now, so while people will still die everyday (from various types of illness or injury), people generally aren't dying from flu or other seasonal illnesses.

The only reason the number of 'cases' is rising, is that more and more people are being 'tested'. With these bogus test kits, that can't even identify a specific virus.

So the authorities will have to be careful, because if more people find out that the number of deaths is not proportionate to the 'rise' in cases, then (hopefully) more people will snap out of this hypnosis and question what is really going on.

Some experts and ministers are now referring to the rise in cases as "spikes" rather than a second wave. It sounds a lot more well... spikey and frightening I suppose.

But, in addition to your point about numbers of deaths, the numbers of patients hospitalised in England and deemed to have the "virus" is also now pretty miniscule. Numbers of cases should be irrelevant - what should matter is the numbers of people who are seriously ill of which, according to the graph below, very few are.

They'll do anything to keep the deaths up mind you.
