Thanks, but my example is no use to you if you don't live in or use public transport in the West Midlands.

 

But wherever you are in the UK, do look up your local transport authority website and look for a similar page and exemption card that you can print off and use.

 

 

Yes, I myself have been guilty of 'acquiescing' and wearing a face mask while travelling on buses since this 'regulation' was introduced.

 

To be honest, a little part of me did feel a little guilty today because I chose NOT to wear a mask on the bus, after all I'm not actually 'exempt', I just know that this is all complete bullshit and completely unneccessary, as well as being unenforceable.

 

But I must admit that I did also feel liberated, and a bit of a 'rebel', knowing that carrying this card makes me practically 'untouchable'.

 

And my feelings really made me realise how even I myself have suffered some mild 'psychological damage', so I can really appreciate how much more damaging this is all to other people.

 

It is 'psychological warfare' and I'm afraid only the mentally tough will have enough resolve to get through this, the 'snowflakes' really have no chance.

I remember a time when people entering shops wearing face coverings were usually criminals looking to rob the place!

They can refuse all they like. Shop owners and workers don't have any power to enforce these 'rules' and have no power to issue fines.

I used to work in a little convenience store many years ago. My concern used to be little scroats coming in and shoplifting, and the police never used to give a damn. It was people waving knives around that made me feel unsafe at work.

@Grumpy Owl Nice one, they look as if they work well, along with all the other cards and lanyards etc. and I suppose if it makes people feel more confident to have something to show then it all just makes life a bit easier (which is what we could all do with at the moment eh?) Ultimately the main thing is people are out and about, living their normal,everyday life and not submitting to being muzzled. For me, personally I like the idea of having no mask nor any other token to offer, but that's just me. I do find it interesting that the existing discrimination laws allow us to walk into any shop, freely, unmuzzled and without fear of challenge. For anyone who actually visits the barristers blog I linked above and reads the information you'll find it even goes further than that. Shops should have, since 24th July taken the following measures.

 

-  Adopting a policy requiring customers not to challenge others not wearing a face covering and to treat

them with the same respect that they would show to others who wear a face covering. 
-  Displaying prominent and clear signage giving notice of that policy.
-  Enforcing the policy by reasonable intervention when any breach is brought to your attention. 
-  Where necessary, removing from your premises and refusing to serve customers who do not observe 
the policy.

 

This is why so many big shops have been "altruistically" falling over themselves to reassure people they won't be challenged about masks and why the police have been so quiet about enforcement because, essentially they know they CAN'T and in fact there are existing laws in place to protect people who don't wish to wear them. Look at the email above I got from Tesco, they were shi**ing themselves that I would sue for discrimination! The whole £100 fine thing is a put up job, like a lot of quickly passed so called "laws".

Yes, but the beauty is they're not allowed to interrogate you over exemption  By merely not wearing a mask you are demonstrating that you are exempt and that unfortunately for them has to be good enough. Only the police, pcsos or appointed officers of the secretary of state can inquire why you are not wearing one.

In the winter in Brighton I often wear a neck warmer round my face anyway.  Got a nice merino one purple colour.

Scrunches up in your pocket and is very useful when its windy.

I just use that if anyone demands it which nobody has yet.

I don't care to entangle myself in any bullshit or prepare excuses or legal arguments ... this is just getting further entangled in the BS.

You cant win against the insane.

Just remember that most human beings are deeply miserable and mad creatures who have sold their souls their entire lives, if they demand something of you just do it quietly and then go home.

All these "people" will be dead at some point and then they won't bother anyone again.

The hoarding and crisis shopping of march and april has slowed and sales are down drastically.

 

This means that profits are down and stores will have to move to accommodate customers who aren't going to wear a f_cking mask.

Just keep pushing back. Sales will continue to slow as benefits end, more people are laid off, etc. We're gaining the advantage and even mainstream media is acknowledging this.

 

Also, these stores are trying to avoid liability and bad publicity associated with conflicts in stores.

Personally I put on my mask at the shop entrance, write 'SCAMDEMIC' on the shop registration book with the phone number 69696969, then immediately take it off when I enter. So far no shopkeeper or other people have cared.

Just went to sainsburys about 30 minutes ago, wearing no mask, nobody on the door.

Very quiet at that time of day, mainly a few old ladies and gents all masked.

staff all masked except for one girl who always looks a bit of a rebel.

 

I tell you what nobody looked very happy from just looking at their body language.

What a miserable experience.

www.hiddendisabilities.co.uk - I bought an exemption card from them and it arrived very quickly.  Recently, on a visit to Cambridge, every store had two security guards telling us to wear a mask but the minute I showed my exemption card, they backed off immediately.  There is no need to offer any reason or excuse as to why you don't want to wear a muzzle...!

 

Thankfully, I had also bought a small hand sanitiser bottle, poured out the contents and refilled with neat Aloe Vera, just as well, as every store insisted on seeing me use my own 'hand sanitiser'

A thought just occurred to me.

Remember when the queuing and the arrows were all stopped? Shortly after that the masks were mandatorised.

 

So following  on with that reasoning, when the hand gels vanish from by the shop door.. they will announce that everyone must wear those blue smurf gloves from the next day or slightly later.

 

Am I right?

I think they just see the lanyard in bright red saying 'MASK EXEMPT'. Then they must then look at the message on the card and the logo. You are right though as the card could say ''COVID IS HOAX AND I'M NOT WEARING A MASK''. The security guards round here are not the sharpest tools in the box either.

I'm using it as a "method of last resort" in case anyone gets stroppy with me... I'm going about my business with the lanyard / card on, but hidden.

If anyone questions me I'm politely replying "I'm exempt" but if any jobsworth or public STASI start pushing the issue I will simply shove this in their face...

 

No one has challenged me further yet but we'll see and I'll update when that happens...

Stop making excuses. This is our lives, our futures. Look around, They have no intention of putting the masks in the hope chest. You will continue to see them on sheep for many, many years, unless we put an end to it now. But "we" won't.

 

Where I live, no one is like me. Oh, there are those who tell me they think the masks are ridiculous, yet all offer excuses as to why they don them for this or that. Me, I just don't do this or that's anymore. Businesses that insist on them no longer get my money.

 

Argue with mask wears? Why would I waste my time? If they are still in masks, will my insights enlighten them?

 

You see, we (Western world) are currently at war. You don't make excuses during war. You don't need to be polite, either.

 

Why don't I wear and what is my excuse? Because I'm intelligent.

@KingKitty I couldn't agree more. An honest man shouldn't have to resort to weasel tactics, that's their world. Where I live it's basically me, my wife and my mother who are the "anti-maskers" I've printed and distributed around town flyers exposing the nefarious agenda behind all this and personally gone into all the shops on the high street (no mask or badge obviously) and had it out with them over the discrimination act 2010. All the shops have acquiesced and none of my family feel the need to wear masks in town now and no one asks us to.

BUT, I have felt EXTREMELY alone and outnumbered. Nevertheless, I walk into shops with a straight back, no mask and look them right in the eye, if anyone crosses me I tell them to piss off and mind their own business (or words to that effect).

 

I've heard everyone's gonna be clapping and banging their pots for me next Thursday at 8.00 pm

ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you on this - JUST do NOT WEAR a mask. The more of us that do this then those sheep will get less.

 

ALSO what about the fact that all this hand sanitizing is killing good germs and weakening our immune system (which by nature sorts itself out in healthy systems).

I read in a post somewhere, that one hand sanitizer had been recalled. Because it was toxic, and had attacked the nervous system. Think it might be called shield,  wish I could remember where I saw it.  I worked in care for 14 years and barely ever used it, never liked the chemically smell of it,  and I saw the state of my colleagues hands, all cracked and dry.
