Lets get this right .... I can prove exactly what I am saying .... i may get banned but what I am saying is true.

You can shout as loud as you want about censorship .... but YOU lost 5.8 million posts .... and then YOU lost 120 thousand posts .... and now YOU want people to interact on a 'facebook/twitter' type of forum?

I don't think they do want that .... it is more that admin likes twitter/facebook type of interaction and not so much researched forum (long form) discussion!

You may have noticed that they don't get involved on the forum but 'tweet' a lot (but then they do have 19K followers)

‘Twitter’;  for those with short attention spans; not much depth; the stroking of egos, and a popularity contest.

I know, I am generalising; apologies to those who are not in the above categories.

And yes, I am venting ?. I generally don’t give a continental about that sort of thing; each to their own, but it would be nice to give consideration to those who have supported David’s work for years, or have just found it; those who have given their own time to keep the forum going in all ways etc etc.

It feels like we are being blown off  ?

I'm thinking about trying to delete this account- I am computer savvy in some ways but not in terms of this. Please could someone confirm whether or not shutting it down (or even if I can completely) would prevent automatic migration to IckeBook?

I don't consent to those 'buddy' terms for the sake of principle. Principle reaching further by the way than just what's being spoken of at the moment - and I don't know for sure if there's anything I can do about it.  Any info shared clarifying this point would be kind.

I don't think you can delete your account to my knowledge. I said in the old forum suggestion thread that it would be nice to have the option, but I never got a response.

@Ziggy Sawdust It was a wonderful forum! Always buzzing with tons of well educated and researched posts. It was absolutely pivotal to my awakening, I learned soo much from that forum. Sadly though, things began to decline when some of the best members were being banned left, right and centre. I think everyone just started leaving after that as it was being too heavily censored.

It was!

And imo what you and Ziggy say is right.

There might have been a lot of argy bargy going on at times but it was never boring!

Don't want to step on toes, don't want to offend anyone grieving and certainly not trying to "steal" users.

Just wanted to say if people want to bookmark:

www.whatthetruth.uk

as it's the site I am just in the process of registering to set up a forum. I will let you know when it's live. Right now it won't load anything.

Watch this space.

I've already vocally not consented.  So migrate my details at your peril. Especially as I had my home account hacked as part of the forum "hack" that started all this.

"Just Fuck Off" ??

Gawd I’m glad someone else has said it.  I’ve been thinking that since Ickonic started, and then we were thrown the social as a sop because of...

And then the hack...

@jonesthepost Thanks mate. I know I really really miss that old forum! It's like losing a dearly beloved friend. What makes it worse, is that the admin don't seem to care about how much it meant to us, and could mean to others in the process of awakening right now.

At this very crucial point in time, when we are in the very grips of the NWO, that old forum could have been instrumental in helping to wake more people up right now. So many are asking questions, they know something's not right, but don't know where to find the answers. That old forum would have shown them the light! Such a loss.

So many read David's work but it leaves them (understandably) scared. I believe without the one on one contact the forum provided as "aftercare" many will simply shut back off again. That's my one and only concern in all of this.

Hi everyone.

It looks like we're currently back to relatively normal at the moment. Davidicke.com was under a sustained attack for over 72 hours and  Ickonic was under a sustained attack for about 48 hours. They seem ok now.

We're currently building a brand new social forum that will be better integrated, have more options, including zoom conference capabilities, chat rooms etc. Plus far better security.

Hopefully won't be long at all.

I updated with a post yesterday. We have a web developer building a brand new forum and social that is infinitely better than this, with tonnes more options. It was something we were planning to do anyway, it's just this attack has underlined the need to do it.

As for the deleted data from the forum, our webmaster is working on retrieving all of that. But davidicke.com and iconic.com have both been under a sustained attack, and as you can see from the homepage of davidicke.com, we're still not running at 100%.

We're a small team and we are spread across multiple jobs, so everyone is flat out.

I do not think it is lost!

What I think happened (but I have no knowledge of this nor can prove it) is that an update of the php version was implemented by those who have no tech knowledge on the server .... and as the old forum was an old vbullitan version .... the php change stopped the software interaction with the database!

That is what I think .... but cannot prove.

I can prove that admin considers the old fourm (all 5.8 million posts) as "last on the list and unimportant"

@ink That is the concern though, because as long as admin considers the old forum as "last on the list and unimportant," then it is as good as lost! How can we ever get it back without their co-operation? Like you said earlier in the thread, after all their complaining about censorship and de-platforming, they are actually sitting back and allowing our voices to be lost! In all my years of researching David's work, I honestly never thought he would let it would end like this.
