I was thinking about the internet merging with the real world for the average consumer, not just government surveillance.

I agree about China, we're definitely heading in that direction. How far we will go with it I'm not sure, like I dunno if we will see victims of usury on billboards like over there, but I don't want any more intrusive tech regardless.
