Nor was it clear whether the 43-year-old had filed any official paperwork to appear on state election ballots. The deadline to add independent candidates to the ballot has not yet passed in many states. Quote If he ran, West would follow in a long tradition of independent or third-party campaigns challenging the Democratic and Republican stranglehold. In 1992, Ross Perot, an eccentric Texan billionaire, took 19% of the vote. In 2000, Ralph Nader’s Green party took less than 3% but was widely blamed for costing Democrat Al Gore the presidency. Best of luck to him. Perhaps he's being primed to be the 'scapegoat' to take the blame for Trump or Biden losing.

Many (at least American) blacks are Christian. Can’t stand Kanye, Beyoncé and company they are not liberated from their masters. They don’t write or produce their own music. Every move they make is calculated by a team, etc. They can’t escape just look how Kanye went in to the looney bin for attempting to break away from his controllers. Which African Gods are being symbolized from which African countries and which tribes? What do these gods represent in the people whose culture they descend? How do we know they are not just exploiting these gods to create a false mystique, kind of like the American Congress critters bowing wearing African garb? These fools aren’t rescuing anyone.

You need to understand why musicians tend to go 'loony' at some point in their career. To break away from an unfair contract. If you watch Lemonade and you don't recognise none of it then you'd have to find that out for yourself. It's full of it. Period. These gods are very important, sacred to them. They don't talk about it especially if you are white. They would talk about it even if you are not black but you need to know well enough to be able to hold a conversation. Black Africa is completely packed with all sorts of Slavery right now in 2020. No point rescuing anyone in the West they kicked out Slavery a very long time ago and its on in the Christian West that there is no slavery ... just take a look at the Middle East / Asia or China. The idea that slavery is wrong only exists in the Christian lands. So go on then rescue the Blacks stamp out Slavery, be my guest. Get yourself on a plane to Africa and go for it. Michi713
Slavery does exist in the west in the form of human trafficking. Central Americans are trafficked through the United States, put in for profit prisons where the prison owners make money off of them and get cheap labor for whatever they produce. Also they are experimented on. Subsequently the “immigrants” are funneled out to various industries to provide cheap labor. Women and children are trafficked for sex here in America. Possibly in Europe but I don’t live there so I don’t know.
Fluke
Well to be honest I kind of like him. I don't think he is all there though. And I can understand the whole celebs becoming president's thing culture in USA doesn't really register as very dignified or classy. I must admit I have always liked trump I don't think he is a saviour or anything like that and I am not emotionally attached to the next election, as a foreigner looking in I'd prefer him than creepy Joe, but we all know they don't pull the strings. I still think trump was a pivotal moment, that along with Brexit. I never saw trump as a racist and all the other labels people have placed upon him. However and I am not naive enough to place my hope in anyone in power. I know icke says Israel are behind him? Also think people need to get it into their skulls that it wasn't a republican or democrat thing. I am certain people voted for the person and not the party and if he would have ran for liberals he would have got in again. I am also convinced he is not as stupid as the MSM lead us to believe. He is certainly no Jacob Rees mogg when talking but people voted because they are sick of politicians. He may be a part of A establishment, but he is not a neo con and he certainly isn't on Obama and Clinton's side. He has also surrounded himself or did surround himself with a team of pretty intelligent individuals even though I don't like a lot of them. His policy for pushing back on China is spot on and he has been banging on about it since the 80s. I get a lot of flack from my British brothers and sisters, both family and friends but I am sorry I think trump is very funny. Egotistical and probably a nightmare to work for, but what happened in 2015\16 was a revolution from real people saying enough is enough. The rest well, they were probably voting for lesser of two evils? As for Kayne he is just an opportunist. But the way this year is going, it wouldn't surprise me if he got in looking at the state of the world at the moment

But the way this year is going, it wouldn't surprise me if he got in looking at the state of the world at the moment All I know about US politics is that it is very much a 'two-party' (in reality 'one-party') state, and the perception is always that voters only ever have two choices, Republican or Democrat. Same as here in the UK, with Conservative or Labour. There are 'other parties' such as LibDems, SNP, Greens and UKIP, but these parties are always marginalised and just used to 'split' the vote, to ensure that Conservatives or Labour 'win' each time. I have been told before that it is almost practically impossible for any 'third-party' to win the popular vote in a US presidential election, due to the amounts of money spent on both sides 'funding' and supporting those candidates, by their lobbyists. But what I do think the USA badly needs is some kind of 'credible' third choice. Would that be Kanye West? I really don't know. If he goes through with this, he could end up hoovering up some votes. But whose votes would he be targetting? Despite what the media propaganda would have you believe, Trump did get a lot of 'black' votes at the last election. There used to be a black fella worked next door to us at work, until they closed down just after Christmas. He absolutely LOVED Trump, and didn't have many kind words to say about Obama nor his wife ("Michael Obama" etc). If he lived in America, he'd vote Trump, no doubt about it. As I alluded to in a previous reply in another thread, I wonder if Kanye is being primed to stand as the 'third choice' in order to take votes away from Trump and/or Biden. I don't think he'd have any realistic chance of winning outright, that would be unprecedented. But regardless of whether Trump or Biden were to win, Kanye could end up being the scapegoat and a figure to 'point blame' at. Trump loses, Biden wins, "its Kanye West's fault!" Biden loses, Trump wins, "its Kanye West's fault!" How far the 'blame' spills over is anyone's guess, either way you still end up with a polarised and divided nation living on a knife-edge away from civil uprisings, especially if the victor only has a slender majority.
