Orange Alert
The UK Government is being directed to keep the population on constant COVID-BS terror alert. The Daily Express, who report once or twice a week that World War 3 could break out, printed a list of 36 places that could continue or reintroduce lockdown restrctions, including Isle of Wight. Coronavirus MAPPED: 36 cities and counties could face lockdown - is YOUR area affected? WHILE the UK is making headway in abandoning lockdown measures, some areas of the UK have begun to see local spikes and face the risk of being put back into lockdown. The plague carriers from Birmingham may have infected Weston-super-Mare with their COVID-BS19. Quote There are fears Brummies travelling to Weston-super-Mare could have triggered a boom in coronavirus cases. The seaside resort's hospital has now shut itself off to new patients following an outbreak in the town, which is hugely popular with Brummies. Locals told our sister title SomersetLive that visitors travelling from Birmingham may have triggered "an explosion" of coronavirus cases. North Somerset Council, the tourism board and councillors have pleaded for people to stay away from the popular seaside town But despite this warning the seaside destination is seeing growing numbers of visitors. Families and groups of people coming from as far as Birmingham during the sunny early May Bank Holiday has led to some Weston residents believing this has triggered the coronavirus outbreak in Weston General Hospital https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/fears-brummies-triggered-explosion-coronavirus-18323788 Edited June 29, 2020 by Orange Alert

wake_up_bomb
In the entire county in which I live, there had been just over 2,000 cases in May, and over 25% of those were in the only major city. There had been 52 deaths, and nearly 40% of those had been in care homes. So you're looking at 32 deaths outside of care homes, across a surface area of 2,600 square kilometres, and a population of 800,000. There may have been a few more deaths since then, I'm not sure. Who cares?
2020member
Looks to me like this is a precursor to being able to lock down boroughs/neighbourhoods and then ultimately individuals (such as us) who won’t tow the line.

Yep that was my thoughts when they announced that they would lockdown individual towns or cities if needed. If crowds start gathering to protest or revolt then the AI will detect it and it's back into lockdown for that location.
motleyhoo
There have now been 500,000 deaths globally. Each year the seasonal flu kills 3-5 million people. So where is the Corona pandemic? Answer, it only exists on TV.

A sort of re-run of the time the MSM was pumping out the blame for the Coronavirus on the Chinese for eating raw bats from wet markets? Then when the MSM had blitzed the population with that bullshite story of the bat-snake virus, they switched to telling people off for being xenophobic towards the Chinese. This was a agitprop photo, we all know so well, that made the rounds on the MSM.
hokuspokus
As we are in a divide and conquer situation and that BAME is the flavour of the month and non BAME are the bad guys presently. We may have a reversal of this and BAME areas start to get locked down due to "reported" flouting of social distancing . With the aim of everytime a non BAME sees a BAME they think avoid at all costs. Divide and rule . Just a thought .......discuss or ignore
Stride
Hi guys it seems in 2020 we are racing towards cashless society which is tied in with lockdown. Gee
I'm surprised a thread on this subject didn't start sooner. Needless to say, local lockdowns have been on the agenda since the publication of the governments 50 page plan to rebuild pubished in May (and probably some time before that). This will be the perfect way to usher in a police state. Maybe it starts with whole city, but soon it will be parts of cities. The ease at which authorities can police say a deprived estate as opposed to a whole country is obvious. Of course if some communities feel they are being unfairly targeted, this will further fan the flames of division within society. It's possible that the controllers wont have to lift a finger to reduce the population, they may be able to rely on the population reducing itself. I also beleive that this will go on for the next 2-3 months until the next phase begins... total lockdown maybe? But definately something else.

It is a pity the forum is still not fully operational with sub forums. I am not keen on Spybook. What is worse Facebook or a cashless society? However, it was interesting to see the comments and the information exchange. I did not know contactless payment, a thing I have never used, had been raised from £30 to £45. He 2nd appeared at Black Lives Matter with same pic of queen's head and now Leicester lockdown another announcement with queen's head behind him. Every time a new level of crap. I agree, local lockdowns for local people to become routine and deployed at a turn of a screwdriver, which as you mention, leads to the individual level. The term lockdown, which I had only heard as an U.S. term when prison inmates got locked back into their cells for a security situation, but then in recent years the authoritarian term lockdown replaced police cordon in UK news reports. I thought it was indicative in the way TPTB thought of and treated the general public as prisoners and the term lockdown was to get the public conditioned to it and its use would expand. In Italy they locked down towns and whole areas tight as a drum with police and military checkpoints and still the lockdown got pushed out to the whole of the country. The Leicester lockdown is very much lockdown lite, even though it is still 100% totalitarian, which could be the UK blueprint for localised lockdowns from now on or is the start of the second national lockdown?
scowie
I wonder whether this is because the government are trying to stop history repeating itself... When smallpox was rife, at one point the city of Leicester decided to reject vaccination and opted for sanitation instead which massively reduced disease and death rates. Leicester became a big embarrassment for the government of the time and showed what a fraud vaccination was... http://whale.to/vaccines/leicester_h.html I suspect the government want to force vaccines on the people of Leicester first this time around.
