David Icke Books digital

Unfortunately I believe Amazon has the monopoly on Kindle books, so I don't think it is possible to buy Kindle editions from anywhere else.

To be honest, I've had a Kindle myself for a few years now, and Kindle books are the only thing I buy from Amazon now.

I emailed David asking if he would possibly make ebooks for sale on his own site as I’d prefer to buy from him rather than Amazon. This was a couple of weeks ago and still awaiting a reply.

I think that is a good idea regarding ebooks and trying to seek out independent suppliers to purchase from.  IMO, DI's shop should look at offering more than it presently does and ebooks would be excellent to expand the flexibility and readership of DI's work. I do prefer physical books and media, but ebook formats epub, PDF would be great as a choice or to have both ie. ebook and physical. Also foreign language versions are not stocked in the shop and links should be given to order from the publisher, like below.

A possible alternative or addition to Amazon Kindle could be W.H.Smith Kobo books.

Thanks for that, I was trying to remember what the Kindle alternatives were. I didn't realise that Kobo was owned by WH Smith, I have heard of that one before.

Another one that springs to mind is 'Nook'? Barnes & Noble?

As much as I would love to just get rid of my Kindle (I really despise Amazon), I have accumulated a small library on it, which I have paid for.

Correction: Kobo has been owned by Rakuten since 2016. They do have a 'strategic partnership' with WH Smith, amongst other retailers.

Further edit: they only have David Icke's first three books available, so no good to me:

As someone already pointed out, Kobo is Rakuten. But the ePub format is available for anybody to use. I’ve made my own from text documents in Pages, it’s easy, just Export as ePub. I would love to get DI’s books as ePubs as I read using a Kobo e-reader, if I have to I can buy from Amazon but would rather the payment went direct to DI.

There are applications like Calibre you can use to convert kindle files to standard epub.  I use it all the time.
