I've heard about the Moon ringing like a bell but if the crater depth is anywhere between 2-4km....did they drop a JCB digger for it to penetrate the surface? To what are you referring? A random crater or the Apollo seismology device recording the spent Apollo craft impacting the Moon? Meteorites hit the Moon at crazy speeds.
