Churchill statue headed for museum

Recommended Posts

An article was pasted on davideicke, com reporting this without expressing approval or disapproval  ...

DI must be in two in two minds about this , he is well aware Churchill was one of the controlling elite so he can't be happy Churchill is voted the most popular Briton or that this statue stands  ...But also he must be aware this latest insanity is all about winding up to breaking point the average Briton

This article from infowars highlights how statue defenders are having their heads cracked by police , the police retreat when statues are attacked

Riot police cracked down hard today on people demonstrating to protect statues in London – a response not seen to the BLM rioters last week.

A coalition of veterans, “football lads,” and others gathered in Parliament Square to protest the defacing of statues, such as Winston Churchill, by Black Lives Matter rioters that had occurred over the last week, with police just letting the vandalism happen.

The largely peaceful protests were interspersed with some random violent scuffles between police and protestors. However, this was completely opposed to the BLM riots this week, in which violence and property damage was endemic....

This is all about giving a bright green light to looters and the insane .

Whatever Winston Churchill's faults, he lead this country during the war, stood up for this country's freedom and  refused to surrender to Nazis. He stood against those evil fascists and gave people of this country hope with his speeches. His predecessor was dithering about thinking of doing deals with the Nazis. We owe our freedom today due to Winston Churchill's strong leadership. His statue should stay as a reminder of this.

The lefty commies can get lost!

Boris says Winston is not getting moved and people have sent a petition to Boris that they want Winston to stay there. They were difficult and different times, and part of our history and can't vanish just cos some gobby anarchists say so.

They can do one.

Winston is staying.

I'm surprised they haven't gone after the £5 note yet. ? Sheer craziness going on at the moment.

I was only thinking abut that earlier funnily enough! I expect they won't burn those because they need the money for their soya lattes lol. They'll probably rant a bit in the cafe take out places if they get one in their change and demand 5 pound coins instead!

Print out pictures of Winston Churchill and put them up in your window. Paste them on walls around town. Leave them on buses, in cafes etc. Graffiti artists can paint him on walls. Inundate the whole country with them.

Their petition is nearly at a 1000, ?barmy. I feel like I am living in a new surreal world at the moment, I wonder what idiocy is going to come next.

I know what you mean. Never did I imagine that people would be railing against the man who stood by his country and refused to surrender to Nazis.

I'm no fan of Churchill for many reasons, whatever your reasons though it has to be remembered that the method some people use to remove statues and other monuments they don't like can then be used by their opponents to do the same to statues and monuments they like, a sort of you pull down my stuff, I'll pull down yours and things start getting ridiculous.

It's quite simple really why Winston Churchill's statue should and will stay where he is!

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble lads but Churchill was not a good man. I'm a working class man raised by a traditional cockney upbringing where as a lad we believed he was on the right side. One of the good guys and something to be proud of so to speak. Unfortunately he was just like the rest of them and had bets placed on all outcomes. The second World war just like all the others before it and was finacially backed by the same people for both sides. Just because someone is witty with words does not make them a hero. The people of that era where very blind to the corruption in the World and never questioned the Royal family, MPs, Doctors, Lawyers, teachers etc....

Just because they was led to belive he was a hero does not mean we have to follow suit.  He did NOT win the War. The very brave young men and women who risked and lost their lives did. They were kids really and barely men thinking they are serving a cause when being used like a pawn. Make no mistake the Germans was also used exactly the same...disposable.

The winners of wars are decided before the battle begins and it's all an illusion!

After watching the 10 hour documentary 'Europa The Final Battle' and other related content over the years. I have major doubts over WWI/II and who the 'good guys' and 'bad guys' are in the his-story books.

What I will say is, this is without doubt a psy-op to see how far they can push the indigenous population.

Even though I have major doubts over Churchill I would still defend that statue if it came to it. In the context of defending the last bit of cohesion, our society has which is dangling by a thread. When statues start to tumble and history books are being overwritten, regardless of the context you know this is a regime change.

Decades of hindsight and relative peace on mainland Europe are a wonderful thing which is why there are memorials to those that paid the price.

There are no good guys when it comes to making war but imagine if you will the forces of the Imperial Japan running riot through India and the Nazi Wehrmacht/Italalian fascists running through Africa unchecked. If the Axis powers had realised there was oil under Libyan sands like the British did the course of the war would have been very different.

Nearly all Empires are racist to a greater of lesser degree but they don't last and that goes for any NWO regime/corporatocratic dictatorship currently in the making.

This was all designed as a backdrop to the next chapter in the Brexit cancellation saga, which the PTB have bottled announcing, at least for right now. They didn't want your average Joe Public taking to the streets to protest tyranny, so they decided to make the streets look as unpleasant as possible instead. There is no doubt that MI5 are heavily involved in orchestrating these street protests. Furthermore, they are also intended to breathe new life into the 'Brexit is racist' fairy tale. This particular narrative, though it might decrease in intensity, will not be wound up and will continue to rumble on in the background.

The statue stuff is very childish. There probably is a debate to be had, on the location of some statues, but crowds suddenly grabbing them across the nation only reeks of the PTB in action. This is especially the case, when deemed as being part of 'global protests', by the highly attentive mass media, and all on the back of the tragic demise of George Floyd. The straw that broke the camel's back and another #metoo movement was born. The mass media are helping to create the reality on the streets; not just reporting on it. Yawn.

As for Churchill himself, he has to be one of the most misrepresented figures in U.K. history. He was a PTB warmongering pawn and it wouldn't surprise me at all to also learn that he was a ponce. I was thinking about his misrepresentation quite a lot, over the past few years, regardless of what is currently occurring. He will soon be joined in hell Tony.

P.S. And all of this 'mock outrage' is occurring on the back of what we have done in Middle East, over the past 20 years or so, which is completely ignored. No, don't go after any living war criminals; pursue some dead statues from the distant past instead. Ha ha. :classic_rolleyes:

Regretting you did not settle down and decided to leave the comfort and safety of the Village, Number 6?   The Village with its delightful architecture, cheerful brass band, stone boat, social club (members only), human chessboard, local only taxi trips by Mini Moke, all under the watchful eye of the control room supervisor, who can activate Rover, the A.I. drone, if Village security is deemed to be at risk.
