Well, I've just done the maths. £1,000,000 divided by 50.000 is £20. That doesn't seem so great a sum by each contributor, so it's possible, if they are all so very keen to act against racism.

I used to live opposite Penny Lane.  At least once each day in the spring/summer, a coach full of Japanese tourists used to stop at the sign oppose my house and take photos - a living cliché.  Memories.....
