peter
I was 27 at the time just marred and purchased our first house on the central coast of NSW just north of Gosford. We had just moved in and the night was clear and full of stars with no moon ,we decided to go for a walk to have a look around the neighborhood . On the way home we were walking up Robert street which was rather steep , about half way up this large iridescent object came out of the sky straight down about 300mts in front of us, it was massive much bigger than a full moon. I shoved my wife in the back to push he down onto the road , then dived face down onto the road myself. When shit happens time seems to slow down so I was thinking to myself ,fucking brilliant ,just married and purchased our first house and we a going to be wiped out by a bloody meteorite. I could see this thing going down behind the trees and closed my eyes waiting for the huge explosion ,but nothing. I obvious l didn't shove my wife hard enough because she was standing over me looking down,so now I'm thinking how am I going to explain this ,she will think I'm an idiot, so I looked up and said ,did you see that and she said yes ,she said it was all iridescent green however I thought it had some pink at the bottom, the only indication that there had been any thing was two mist trails as wide as the object coming to a point where it came down in an otherwise moonless and cloudless night, I got up of the road with some bark missing off my hands and knees ,. Anyway the next day I went up for a look and there was no sign of anything, 34 years later my wife still won't talk about it. There are obviously other weird shit that has happened to me but they just seem to come to me in flashes and then I forget about them however every thing I have mentioned in this thread has been burned into my memory and will be with me till I'm gone . I don't think about them at all otherwise you would drive yourself mad but since the subject was brought up I definitely don't mind sharing my experiences 1

This was many years ago, I must have been in my early teens, me my brother and my sister were all at home one day, must have been during a school holiday as mum and dad were out at work, and I was old enough to look after my younger siblings. We were all together in the living room, either playing or watching TV, when there was a loud 'thump' noise, coming from the hallway. It sounded like a brick or something had been thrown at the wooden front door. We all heard it, as it made us jump! And it wasn't like we'd imagined it. After a few seconds, I went to go and have a look. I opened the front door, expecting to see something on the door step. Nothing there. The driveway was clear as mum and dad's cars were both gone. Nothing there either, no evidence of anything hitting or bouncing off the front door that could have made that noise. And there was no-one else in the street. No visible damage on the door. It creeped us out a little bit, as all three of us had heard the same noise. That could have been a big bird like a pigeon flying into the door then flying off again possibly. Storm in the garden
This is all Hocus Pocus hogwash stuff, right? I used to think that, until around thirteen years ago when this happened... I had a small cottage on the west coast of Ireland which I used to visit regularly for holidays and weekends. At the time I was big into photography, and would often head off for a few hours to take pictures, using a map to pick out places which looked interesting. On this particular day I chose an area with a lake about 15 minutes drive away, and headed off. On the way to the lake, I spotted a ruin of an old house and decided to stop and maybe take some images. What was unusual about this ruin was that it was a two storey house, whereas most are single storey cottages. I had started taking pictures when a car pulled up,and out popped two adults and two children, who proceeded to walk around the old house. Now the last thing you want when taking landscape images is people or cars in the photo because they immediately date the image by their clothes etc. so I decided to pull back and wait for them to leave. They eventually drove off and I returned to the ruin. There were no doors or windows in the ruin so I decided to go inside because I wanted to take some photos from the inside, using the old window opening to frame the landscape outside. As I was doing this, I started to hear children's voices. I couldn't make out what they were saying but they were definitely children and appeared to be shouting. 'So, they're back' I thought, and went outside fully expecting to see the kids running around the ruin again, but......nothing! There was nobody outside? I looked up and down the road where you could see for maybe a quarter of a mile in each direction....nothing! This is a remote area where there are no habitable houses for a mile or more. I was genuinely confused. I knew I heard children's voices yet could figure out no possible source of those voices. I decided to head on to the lake I had initially decided to visit, yet while driving there was still mulling over the source of those voices. Was I losing it? Was my mind playing tricks? I just couldn't figure it out. I had always regarded myself as a rational person yet this didn't seem to make any sense. I took some pictures at the lake, then returned to my own cottage. A short time later Maureen dropped in. Maureen was an elderly woman who lived up the road from my cottage and used to visit most days as she walked back from the seashore. She'd lived there her entire life and knew everything about the area. I told her where I was out taking pictures and asked about the two storey ruin, saying nothing about what I 'heard'. She mentioned the name of the family who had lived there, but what she told me next shocked me... "That was a terrible tragedy. That house was burned to the ground and two children perished in that fire". This is a picture I took at that house.... Woodsman
Hope this works:- A mate who worked in the legal trade in Buxton Derbyshire and lived in an isolated house was going down into the cellars one weekend evening to collect some homemade wine to share with visitors and said place went extreme cold and dark he then heard marching sounds and a few seconds on about 8 Roman soldiers walked through the stone wall and across the cellars and out the back wall. (He said odd as could no see faces as misted) On his return his wife and visitors said all OK as looked pale and was shaking. (He told his wife later on) Dog refused to visit cellars again and would bristle up when the doors opened. Some research and digging was done and turns out the original Roman road was underneath his house and not where the current A515 is now. He has never seen this again and now lives elsewhere having retired.
Woodsman
I have seen the large Black Cats (Panthers) twice and close to in the Peak District (I am not going to disclose where so can live in peace without human interference) I have also seen numerous times the Rock Wallabies (escaped/released from the private zoo) in their natural habitat on the Gritstone areas. (There is a public house in that area and some people leaving think had too much to drink when see them at dusk)
Woodsman
A long time ago whilst working in Macclesfield Forest a dark Blue Ford Transit van with smoked windows arrived on the track at high speed. Several large blokes came out in Police clothing and wanted to know did we live in the forest. (Persistent with this information!!) we told them no unless working late and then before leaving noticed high powered rifles and special tools inside the van. About 30 mins on the logging horses spooked with no obvious reasons. Turns out talking to the Forest man that a lost Rambler stumbled across a log cabin in the woods (this was the time the IRA had bombed Warrington and had hidden various in this forest) and so the Police thinking more serious issues had arrived and fired warning shots at the cabin and a panicking homeless man came out to be arrested. He had over several years made this basic structure without people knowing. (This then explained the Clydesdale horses reactions as could listen to sounds humans couldn’t.) Storm in the garden
I'm after doing a quick search and this seems to be a typical example of the prevailing information on the net. Does water divining actually work? In the sense that it finds underground water, water dowsing does not work. Water dowsing involves the claim that a person can locate underground sources of water without using any scientific instruments. ... The dowsing rods do indeed move, but not in response to anything underground I knew a woman (long since passed away) who could do this with almost anything, a coat hanger would be an obvious example. I was literally beside her when she held an empty bean tin in her two hands, and when she walked over an underground stream the can rapidly spun in her still hands. So I have seen it work close up. This is a problem with modern science. If they cannot prove it through mathematical equations or experiments they determine it's untrue. What they really should be saying is "we don't know".

The dowsing rods do indeed move, but not in response to anything underground Well I can tell it dose work from personal experience, when we purchased the mango orchard ,it was in the middle of a drought, anyway I was told about this fellow that used to divine for the council in the next town ,he was retired but he still did private jobs I was given his number and gave him a call I had to drive an hour to pick him up and return him home ,he also said I needed a hand full of silver and a rubber band, old coins were fine and he would do it for fifty dollars so I took my farther for a run and we drove just over an hour to pic this bloke up. Well when I laid eyes on this bloke I thought what a waste of time , an old hippy 76 years of age long hair in plats tie died t shirt purple jeans and boots ,anyway off we went All the fellow had was a piece of 8 gauge fencing wire bent at right angles , me and my farther were walking about ten feet behind this bloke , was putting on a real show we were both trying not to laugh, dad said all the driving and the $50 was worth it for the entertainment alone. He stops and says there is a stream here give me silver in my left hand,as soon as I did he said no it's salt gave me back the silver and he continued on . My neighbor had sunk a bore about 2 months earlier and had the case sticking up out of the ground but the water was very salty and you couldn't see the bore casing as it was covered in grass, anyway we walked a bit further and he stopped and said there is a stream here ,give me the silver as soon as I placed it in his hand he started spitting and said that was the saltiest water he had come across, Just as a test I said which way dose the stream run and even though he couldn't see it he pointed straight at the bore casing my neighbor had sunk , now we are nearly at the top of the property and he said hear is a stream give me the silver ,and he said ah, beautiful sweet water so he marked the center of the stream and the two edges, then he asked for the rubber band which he wrapped around the end of the wire and slid it up the shaft and when he stopped he measured how many thumb nails were between the end of the wire and the rubber band , he then said the water is good the flow rate is not brilliant ,around 300 gal per hour and the stream is 62 feet down. Then he looked at me and said there is another stream under this one 186 feet down with a flow rate of 1500 gal per hour , I payed him his money and ran him home . I rang Arthur the local driller and got him to come over and told him where to drill, he was being sarcastic he said I was wasting my money as he had drilled all over this area and all they ever got was salt , I said the fellow recons its fresh and around 60 feet , any way he hit water at 62 1/2 feet and he had a meter that roughly measured mineral or salt content he was surprised as the water seemed ok so he cased the bore and left, we took a water sample to Croptec in Bundy and it was as good if not better than rainwater and the flow rate ended up being 320 gal per hour, so this crazy old looking bloke was correct on all counts , and I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I have no Idea how he did it
Mr H
7 years ago, I had "gone past" suicidal from my 10 year compulsive gambling addiction. After my latest half baked attempt at throwing myself underneath the train that morning I went back to my bed and literally gave up. Gave up on everything, gave up being human, gave up what I thought was me. Then I had an extraordinary experience which I have never been able to explain. I can only describe it as a loving energy in the form of a voice started speaking to me. What "it" did first was to remove the gambling addict paradigm from my mental state and then asked me a series of questions, so I could answer honestly and not from within the paradigm of the gambling addict. The questions it asked me, without any judgement whatsoever, was. What is it I like about gambling? What were my aims? Can I achieve these aims? Do I honestly wish to continue gambling? I went through all the reasons and did the analysis and came out with the answer that I no longer wished to gamble. "It" then asked me what I did want then? So I wrote down on paper what I did want. 1) I wanted a job paying £40k so I could pay back my gambling debts (I was unemployed at the time with few qualifications) 2) I had shut myself off from my friends living as a gambling addict and I wanted to re-unite with them after not seeing them at all for 6 years 3) I wanted to raise £1000 for people with heart conditions because my mum had just died from a heart condition by running a marathon (I was heavily smoking at the time and hadn't run in years). After this had finished I naturally ripped up the paper, then things became a bit of a blur, then the next day happenend. So the very next day, I am walking down the street, and I see in the distance my best friend from school who I hadn't seen in 6 years. I want to run away in embarrassment but I go no, this is what I asked for so I shall go with it and start chatting... 1 month later I get a job in accounts (I wasn't an accountant at the time) paying exactly £40k! 2 months after that I run a marathon and raise just shy of £1000 target! Prior to this I was anti-spiritual, and completely asleep to most things, but I had literally gone through 10 years of hell living as a gambling addict, so this to me was extraordinary and unexplainable.... Shortly after my uncle died and I get a message at his funeral saying I should speak to my brother because he has a friend that is into spirituality - so I ask my brother to go and speak with him. I speak with him and he send me off to this Ukranian healer in London. Had all sorts of weird experiences with her, past lives, speaking to dead people! Well from then on my life has changed forever and I'm well long gone down the rabbit whole these days! I should also say that from that incident I never once, even had the slightest thought to even gamble since, something completely unimaginable to my former self - without any efforting at all. I've had many theories over of the years as to what might have happened, but none conclusive 6

Albion
Not me personally, but something strange happened to my dad years ago. He claims he was probably the last person to speak to Kurt Cobain before he died. The story begins in the late 80's, when my dad infiltrated a notorious biker gang from the south of England. Working for intelligence services at the time, he was saddled with gathering information about the gangs villainous practices, including their highly lucrative strategy of ordering furniture from the Littlewoods catalogue, waiting until it arrived, then phoning them up and saying it hadn't arrived. It was a genius scheme that saw the crew rake in an estimated £2 million per year. An absolute fortune back in the day. Anyway, his objective was to bring down the gang from within, but by 1992 he had become completely seduced by them, their way of life, and their endless reserves of furniture and homeware. He turned his back on the world of government espionage and became a fully fledged member of the gang. The following year, 3 of the crew (including my dad) upped sticks and travelled to the US, where they spent a few months roaming northwest America. One of the gang, it transpired, had an American cousin named Marcus, who a few months earlier, won a Kurt Cobain lookalike competition in a music magazine. In doing so, Marcus won the hearts of the entire Grunge world, including Kurt himself. From this, Marcus and Kurt became friends. Friendly enough to ensure my dads gang got backstage with Marcus to meet Nirvana after they put on a gig in Seattle. My dad said Kurt was everything he hoped he would be, and that they talked long into the night about all sorts, like politics, religion and their shared hatred of Germans. The connection he made with Kurt that night began a friendship that grew much closer over the following year. Fast forward to April 1994, and my dads back home cutting oranges on the couch, when the phone suddenly rings. Hearing Kurt drawl, "Hey", on the other end of the receiver, my dad quickly fired back with, "Is that you, Sir Kunty of Cobainshire?".. and they both fell about laughing together. They spoke for about an hour or so, but the content of the conversation was never divulged entirely by dad. But at the end of the conversation he said Kurt's voice turned from grasping into a sort of soft whisper as he said, "I'm off now anyway, to end this fucking horror show once and for all". And with that he was gone. My dad said he assumed that Kurt was off to wash the pots or summat. But not even a day later he saw on the news that Kurt was dead. And within a year all dads former gang members were dead too. Killed by asbestos poisoning from a load of dodgy Littlewoods washing machines, apparently. peter
I put this one up on the old forum I was in my mid to late 30's working in Sydney anyway one of my work mates was head honcho warlock and had his own witches coven The tv news even did a story on him. Anyway I would take the piss out of him and call him the head of the black pointy hat people. There was a great crew that I worked with the exception of one person no one would work with him and I was the last to pull the pin. One day I said ,what are we going to do about Steve to my mate ,he said nothing you don't have to, he said I took care of it last week ,to which I replied what do mean he then said I have cursed his stomach. At this point I cracked up laughing and called him a wanker, he said no I'm serious ,so I said what did you do? He removed his locker and on the back at stomach height he placed the picture of the devil put the locker back then said some ritual incantation. I laughed and walked off shaking my head Two days later the fellow concerned was in hospital getting a large cyst cut out of his stomach about a week after coming back to work he wasn't feeling well went home early and found his wife in bed with some bloke ,he left soon after,go figure, I still took the piss out of my mate all the time though True story Edited September 18, 2020 by peter
Cashew
I've had a couple of ghost related experiences some years back. As a student we went on a field trip staying in an old school which was in an old stately home. We were working in the old stables one evening and needed some papers from the main house, which I went to get. It was in a big room about 8 -10m across. When I got there, the lights wouldn't work, but I knew there was another light switch for a different set of lights on the other side of the room. As I walked across the room the large heavy door behind me slammed shut - so I ran like heck, scrambling over furniture in the pitch black to get out. No-one really believed what I said when I ran back, but when someone else went back to the room to get the stuff I'd left, the lights were on, right up until them getting halfway across the room, then it all went out again. The house was empty and I'd have heard anyone around or anyone following me to the room. I used to work in an old manor house and often used to be first in in the morning. Several times I'd hear footprints on the old, boarded up stairs next to my office. One morning I heard a woman cry out - we were a long way from a road and there were no footpaths. I was so convinced someone was in trouble that I searched the whole building top to bottom and the external perimeter - nothing. There was a similar house owned by the organisation up the road. The staff based there refused to work after dark because the heavy old fire doors would crash open and closed at night. Security also wouldn't do single crewed patrols or go into the building at night, partly because of the activity and partly because they'd seen the spectre of a child. 1
peter
I just remembered a couple more the kids were still at home and we were going out to the flicks on a family outing ,the two boys were in the back ,my eldest said see that street light up ahead ,every time I drive or walk under it it goes out and when I get past it comes back on, so every one was watching and sure enough the street light went out and then came back on when we went by . I thought to myself ,that's strange. So I started watching street lights when I was driving at night ,and I noticed it happening on and off not just with that light others as well. I must admit I haven't taken any notice for a long time, however I just thought it was weird. I put this up before in the old thread I was in between towns in the bush and was the only car on the road about 8.30am when right in front of the car windscreen this enormous wing as if from a giant bird came up and was so close my reflex action was to duck . I thought that was strange how could I have missed a bird that size standing on the side of the road . It looked like the wing of a large raptor (eagle), however the largest eagle we have is a wedge tail and the biggest they get is around 71/2 ft wing span. I looked in the rear view mirror and this extremely large bird ,with a wing span a lot more that 71/2ft was keeping the same height as the rear window of the car and keeping pace but oddly enough the wings weren't flapping. At this stage I'm thinking ,what the hell is that and I take my foot of the accelerator and start to slow down ,when it got very close to the car it veered off to the right flew over a fence and landed in a paddock about 150 meters away , so I pulled up got out of the car and walked up to the fence, this thing was just standing there in a profile position and not moving,I watched it for about 5 min got back in the car and drove off, I haven't got a clue what it was Edited November 2, 2020 by peter

Not quick enough for me to work out what/who it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an entity summoned by all of the evil around us to keep me down and miserable, as I have been since all of this crap started. I know that's a bit doom and gloom... But what if? These entities could be everywhere. What can we do to stop this? I am praying daily, really praying. I just feel haunted by something..

Sometimes I see things out of the corner of my eye that I can't quite justify/or qualify if I saw something or not? ...... it's a tricky one, certainly get the feeling I am being watched quite alot. Hold on in there Allymissfit, keep those vibrations high, think good thoughts, remember good memories, feel the happy thoughts that you have experienced in the past, but do not dwell on them, only be around people that make you feel good, move away physically from those that do not. Use the love you have received - remember it, and remember the love you have given and offered unconditionally, it's a beautiful thing to both receive and give love - remember that. Carry on being good to others, smile, think well of them as best you can, revserve judgment of the misinformed, eat as well as you can, most important is to follow your heart - keep your own house in order, anything that lifts your spirits - listen to good music. Keep your own house in order (heart & mind) and your ass will follow. Use intent rather than probability, don't say to yourself "I really hope it's going to be okay" ...instead use your power of intent. Everything WILL be okay, I am sure of it, and I am going to do all I can, it will be good. I know you know all this, but just a little hitch up, if there is anything unwanted around you - they can't compete with love or positivety. I hope you're okay, I have a feeling you will be okay ally, keep strong. Fascinating! I think he experienced a time slip!

I am trying my hardest to stay positive. Things are not improving though :( Saw heaps of shadowy figures again today. So creepy and uncomfortable when they appear.
