Hmm.  I really could see them with my eyes!  I heard my Papa speak with my subtle hearing I’m sure.  Maybe the power of the wake heightens the senses, especially when you’re in a state of deep grief and everyone in the church is feeling the emotions.

I agree with you about power in deep grief. I experienced some major experiences during that time. 

 

Astral projection twice.... which even to this day is very vivid...especially when I came back into my body.  I actually went to a psychic fair once, not expecting much, being the skeptic that I can be at times.  She immediately told me about my astral visits and also said that I am clairvoyant and should follow up on it. I never did...but was amazed that she picked up on my experiences.

Yeah maybe we all have clairvoyant abilities?  But since it’s a taboo subject, those who wish to explore it often have to go it alone with no guidance.  It’s  kind of dangerous and weird when you don’t know exactly what’s going on.  Helps though to identify your strong points so you trust your own instincts and don’t kid yourself out of what you know to be true.

Agreed...  I think many people have such abilities....some more than others.  I have learned to trust my instincts over time.... both in general and within family situations.

When I was a drunk.. I'd have out of body experience.  It always felt as if my blankets were swhooshing or wind rippled my backside. For a few hours after these experiences i felt a "surge of energy" coming back into me through the spine area.

Fascinating! Did they look as solid as us? Or transparent?

Or intuition- the two are very similar. I have found that 9/10 my intuition proves to be correct. I recently ignored mine,  but despite that, it was a warning, so I had a heads up on what was going on.

 

I sometimes ignore it thinking I'm either being illogical or too judgemental!

Well that's I suppose what one personally defines an experience. For me a knowing is stronger, with much more conviction. Intuition is more subtle.

Nice one TZC, yeah - chuck em down on here - be interesting to read what you have experienced too. Minor or major 'occurances' all have some meaning, I've spoke to some people in the know about such things and they have said, it's often about the 'eternal healing path', and sharing them on here is a good way to start dealing with those feelings of confusion and negativity that often surround such experiences.

Alot of people experience super weird dreams,  some people I've spoke with have dreams where they are on a boat in a river, sometimes travelling straight and true, then they get stuck in a reed bed or grounded on some rocks and have to work hard to get off, sometimes you think you've learnt alot, and sometimes you realise that you know fuck all, which of course, both are true.

With regards to entities creeping up on you in the night, a person I know of great experience has explained it like this:

The entities that you feel in your dream,  they are suffering beings, the suffering beings are attracted to the energies of particular feeling and situations which resonate with their inability to complete their journey to the light, we can use various tricks to prevent them from bothering us, such as Tourmaline or Amyethst, black Tourmaline, or Labradorite crystals,  It may be that this suffering being was still waiting to complete their cycle - and if you were able to heal your wound it may be released. but one of the ways to help them back to the light is to show them how to heal our wound.
In short, offer them love, in your mind and heart, offer love, this can help enormously.

I looked to the ceiling where it was looking and saw a light...it was like a mini sparkler, like the sparks from a sparkler but the size of a small butterfly. This light went across the corner of the ceiling and I kept focused on it.  After what seemed to be a full minute the black thing slithered to the floor like the last time. As soon as it was gone the light sparkler went out.  Sounds odd I know.... but  over my life there have been a few strange occurrences.....

 

 

My intent to post all in one has changed reading this.

 

I had a few experiences like this without the weight on me, in the past all around the same time. It was like a black liquid shadow.. a vague human shape floating around the room mostly ceiling that I could still see with my eyes closed. As if it was blacker than black.

 

There was a bad energy to it though, and the first time it happened I had trouble controlling my fear. it reminded me of something similar, but different years before that I'll post seperately. This too slipped under when leaving.

 

The second time I was laying with my girlfriend, talking before sleep and I remained calmer and did not mention what I was experiencing - as she was not complaining and I thought there was no need to frighten her. It was in the corner staring.

 

A couple of days later we were both with her ex chatting and somehow she brought up what she saw the night mentioned. She said it was in the corner. That was quite a shock of confirmation to me that I had not somehow made this up or was going mad. He began to recommend what to do, and it didn't sound right to me. I don't remember exactly what he said but I disagreed. He then started to warn about how I could actually die if I tried to take it on somehow and that's when I lost it. I said I'm not going to live in fear of this shh I don't care, I will call it out tonight and see what happens! If I die I die!

 

The last time I saw it I was alone again in bed, and it went all out to generate the fear. I was just ignoring it as best as I could, until It came about 1 cm from my nose and stayed there. The whole thing covered my body but as I said, no weight. It hovered right over almost touching. It was tough to stay in control there was an aura of hate and danger.. but I thought of love, moments of giving and sharing, beautiful memories. I actually did manage to take it from my mind completely.

 

At some point it just lifted and went, and has never came back again.

 

I have suspicions that it had something to do with my girlfriends ex. He was medum/healer but not a nice character he was kind and giving but it felt artificial, and I had replaced him. I believe he was a very smart controlling and gifted snake with bad intentions for us, hiding behind the shield of supposed light.

 

I have no idea if he somehow brought this thing to us but I'm sure he wanted to use it.

 

He shortly after ran off and disappeared with over 5000 pounds worth of my girlfriends savings.

Nice post TZC, very similar to the advice I received with regards to offer them love.  Takes a real 'prescence of mind'  - and calm nerves to do that, especially at a time when, during the experience you're nearly shitting yourself - it's so scary.
And, very spooky that your partner saw the entity in the corner of the room too - sheeiiiit?

That sounds like a negative energy attachment. These "things" feed off fear and negativity. Good for you that you got rid of it. Logically I don't believe in these things as a rule, but I've had to deal with something myself along these lines recently.

Assuming You have seen lord of the rings (fellowship) did your experience remind you of when Saruman beats Gandalf in their duel and is using magic to throw him around the room.

 

Your post reminded me of a time I was in bed and when falling asleep I felt I was being thrown from my floor to ceiling repeatedly. It was terryfying, I was screaming out loud however the housemates heard nothing.

It sounds like it to me TZC. I've been dealing with something similar myself recently. If you have any more problems I'd be glad to share with you how to deal with it. I had some advice/help from someone in the know, and some of it was my own instincts on what to do, which turned out to be correct. I'm still watchful though.

Oh yeah.  In the Amazon there are brujos (ayahuasqueros with ill intent) who like to challenge the ayahuasqueros. They cast bad (energy?) and illness on their targets.  
 

See though you knew inside how to counter it!  You knew intuitively to put out the opposite to dispel it and you just did it!

One night when I was in my twenties I was awoken by the sound of something that sounded like metal clicking against tiles. Like a penny being thrown against a tiled wall but at an incredible speed. I was a neat freak back then and my kitchen was immaculate right down to polishing my taps with Pledge...my worktops were always clear and the room was spotless. ( Things have changed slightly as I have got older haha)  However, as I lay in bed in the early hours I was listening to this sound and felt as though I should not go downstairs. I decided to wait until morning and see what if anything had gone on. I stayed awake from 4 am till 6 am...the noise stopped somewhere in between.

 

When it was daylight I went down stairs, my two children were in bed (my husband had died about two months earlier) I entered the kitchen and looked around, starting on the worktops. Then I saw a piece of metal in the middle of the floor,  as I moved closer I could see that it was the knob from the clock on my oven ( this was the eighties so it was the dawn of the hob and separate ovens) The oven was at the end of the kitchen and this knob was several feet away, Id say around eight feet from the oven. So it had dropped from around a five feet height and traveled eight feet to the left.  I thought that maybe it had bounced there, but again being the eighties we had cushion-floor. I held the knob at the point on the clock that it would have been originally and let it drop....it fell to the floor and simply bumped about an inch to the left. I did this many times expecting a different outcome. None came. I threw it against the tiled wall.... it sounded exactly like the noise I'd heard...with one big problem.... There was no way in hell it could hit the wall at such speed by me picking it up and throwing it over and over..... not even at the end of an elastic band...even if that were possible, which I doubt. 

 

So, somehow this knob had descended from my oven and hurled itself around the kitchen at great speed, enough to wake me up and end up in the middle of my usually spotless kitchen some time later, for me to find.

 

In this same house, I would hear the pull switch for the bathroom light  be pulled and when I went in the light would be on!!

 

I have more weird stuff...if anyone is interested.
