Yeah thinking the clothing would have to be before 1950s but not early enough to be classic Victorian . (am in Australia. so the English influence would be heavy for that era)
peter
In the old un-hacked forum I have mentioned a few things and on the old website as well , there has been a lot of weird shit that has happened to me over the years, here is one I have never mentioned In my early 20's I worked for CSR chemicals at Rhodes,an outer suburb north of Sydney NSW as a breakdown electrician. One day No2 oil furnace broke down and wouldn't keep going ,it would go through the start up procedure then shut down , I did all the basic checks, then went into the control room to let the leading hand know by phone that I required the circuit diagram for the control system and I was on my way there. There was 6 draws full of circuit diagrams ,over 4,000 for every thing in the plant as it was 20 acres in size, when I got to the office the leading hand was already there ,he said to me some bastard hasn't put it back in the right place and he couldn't find it . Me being a bit of a shit stirrer I said to him close all the draws and I will show you how to find it ,so he did. I closed my eyes opened the nearest draw reached in ,grabbed a plan and said is this it , expecting to be called a dick head , all he said was how the fuck did you do that and yes it was the correct diagram, I have been trying to win the lotto ever since to no avail. If you look at it correctly I had one chance in 4000 and what ever to be correct , they are not astronomical odds but to hit that on the first attempt certainly makes me wonder

Artmuzz
What an interesting topic. I have had my strange experiences over the years and one example that freaked me out happened at my PIP tribunal. I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and applied for PIP but unfortunately I failed the assessment so I got myself a welfare rights officer and appealed. Anyway cut a long story short my welfare rights officer couldn’t be with me at the day of my tribunal so he got another welfare rights officer to represent me. Anyway the night before the tribunal I had a dream I was at the tribunal and in my dream the welfare rights officer was a very large woman with blonde curly hair and glasses which made her eyes appear large and she wore a business suit with fishnet tights. I woke up after the dream and prepared myself for the tribunal. When I got to the tribunal I freaked out when I was introduced to the welfare rights officer who was my replacement and I couldn’t believe what I saw. She was the exact same woman in my dream wearing the same glasses, she had the same face and wearing the same clothes and she had blonde curly hair and was very large. I won the appeal. SuperstarNeilC
Someone mentioned TELEPATHY I’ve been thinking recently that telepathy is our (only) way out of this Gordian Knot we’re tied up in. They can censor the internet and ban DI type discussions. But that can all be circumvented if we can send and receive thoughts through the aether. [Maybe someone can start a thread dedicated to this]. Edited June 16, 2020 by SuperstarNeilC To insert image

This area sounds like it has very high electromagnetism. I'm not done with my own weird shit yet, but seeing as you asked.... My mate was off on a night out with his mate and had called to his house. His mate was just about to go in the shower and told him to go and sit in the living room. His mate had about five younger siblings who were all dotted round the living room with their mum all watching early evening TV. After making polite conversation with his mum, the talking stopped and he got absorbed like everyone else with what was on the telly. After about ten minutes or so, someone dressed in what he described as like a Cavalier outfit just walked right through the living room and into the kitchen area, obviously startling him. He noticed that no one in the room paid any attention to it whatsoever which led him to assume that his mates dad was part of a re enactment society or something like The Sealed Knot. He had never met his dad before so he didn't know what he looked like. In Wythenshawe park at that time, there used to be a lot of re enactment stuff went on, so although it was weird he just brushed it off. His mate finally came down and invited him into the kitchen for a brew before they went out. As he walked into the kitchen, two things struck him...His "dad" wasn't in the kitchen and the back door was bolted....no one went in there after cavalier face, so my mate, puzzled, asked his friend if his dad was into the re enactment bit...His mate just calmly said, "Oh, you've seen the ghost then?"...Apparently, it was a regular occurrence most nights and the family were used to it to a point where they no longer bat an eye to it. So there go...My mate told me that in the early eighties and I recently caught up with him and asked him about it and he told me the exact same story. This was at a house somewhere around the Happy Man pub if anyone knows the area.. Edited June 16, 2020 by Babywithalaser
Babywithalaser
Up at a friends flat one night, six of us were sat watching TV. The TV was on like a wicker stand a couple of feet from the wall behind it. The light was off and just the glow of the telly lit the room. As we watched, I noticed a tall dark shadow walk from one side of the room to the other behind the TV. It all happened in the space of about four seconds, long enough to notice it and get a good look at it. It was deffo in 3D space and not against the wall. I sat there wondering what the fuck I'd just witnessed and why was no one reacting to it...I slowly turned to see everyone was doing the same thing just looking at each other stunned..I broke the silence by saying "Did anyone else see that?"...at that point everyone started gushing about what we had just seen...Everyone described the same thing and even saw it long enough to notice it weren't a shadow cast on the wall....Martock Avenue, Peel Hall...I'll relate another experience I had just round the corner...
Babywithalaser
When I was around 14, I stood waiting for my friend to finish his smooching session with his at the time girlfriend. As I stood waiting, I kept looking over my shoulder to see if he was ready to get off home yet then turning my head back to look down this road. There was absolutely no one about...At one point I turned my head for no more than a second and when I looked back, an old bloke was stood with a Jack Russell terrier on a grass verge no more than thirty feet away. He was dressed in an old style woolly over coat and flat cap. He just appeared from nowhere in the brief time it took me to look for my mate. I was taken aback slightly because he really did just seem to appear and he was definitely not there before....I pondered on this for short while, but I just wanted to get off, so I once again looked over my shoulder, no more than two secs, when I looked back...the old bloke was gone...there was no way he could have got out of sight that quick...He would have had to have dived over some bushes into a garden and crawled like Billy-o to get out of sight that quick. I quickly scurried to outside the house where I'd seen him and looked around...He was nowhere to be seen...Done my head in, other than the fact he appeared and disappeared the way he did, he just looked flesh and bone to me...Fast forward about 20 years later...I was reading a book about murders in someones house...I came across a story i had never heard before that had happened in that very area..It was about a nightwatchman who worked on the site when the area was being built and he was a familiar sight to everyone nearby. Apparently, he was having sexual relations with some guy from Macclesfield and was found battered to death in his porta cabin and the young lad confessed and swung for it....The old bloke fitted the description of what I saw to a T even down to his dog. Another strange twist to this is the guy who's book it was, when I mentioned the story to him, he said "Yeah, I know about that, my uncle was the one who arrested him"... For those who are interested I was stood on the junction of Garland rd looking down Longwood rd toward the woods end, this happened outside the first house on the left...I've since found out that that whole row of houses had gone through a period of weird shit happening there years ago...I think everyone could hear babies crying in the walls of the houses although nobody had young kids. Tick. Also lots of weird time glitches. Never experienced as much deja vu as did when lived there. Also being literally shaken awake in your bed by what felt like kids having a laugh. Ghosts especially the rose garden girl pretty much an expectation. Poltergeist (or what they call poltergeist)activity. People going mad and machete ing people to death (a grandfather in benchill I think) People shooting people and just losing it. The whole place felt like an experiment. Even the language they invented at the ca. We were an oddball bunch. Your book sounds like a great idea. If you are serious pm me. Too many muggles will steal your ideas imo. Fluke
I envy some of the posters here. I have been fascinated with the paranormal since I was about 11 maybe younger when I realised it might not all be Casper. But my strange experiences have been limited and some of the stories here have been great and spooked me out which I love. I used to have lots of vivid astral type experiences as a kid. A long with night terrors. Also heard my name whispered in my old house. The house wasnt particularly old, late 40s maybe 50s attached. Looking back I wonder whether it was haunted as the nightmares were pretty extreme. Used to work in a community hall in South London 10 years ago. Early 20th century think it was 1910 so wasn't overly old. But it was run down and used as a church, vicar would supposedly sleep there back in the day. During the war one of the (now sports halls) were used as a mortuary as the area was heavily bombed out. After the war in the 50s and 60s it was used as a pictures (cinema) Once the customers had left I had to lock up so would spend a lot of time alone there and I suddenly started to get a sensation of having a spiderweb on my face. I remembered icke said something similar about an electromagnetic field or something. I never felt uncomfortable and always wondered whether it could be haunted but nothing drastic happened. It felt like good energy and I found it kind of cool. I would sometimes put my earphones in and kick a football around if I had locked up and was waiting for a lift and I would randomly get weird sensations. One night about 9pm I had just locked up after the church group had left. Nice people gospel type group. I had just locked up I was in the reception setting the alarms, and the entrance where I locked the door had an automatic light that would switch on and off on a censor. It was off. Pitch black and the reception area was now pitch black as I was just about to leave. Then all of a sudden it came on and a african lady in her early to late 60s appeared wearing what looked to me like a Victorian cloth type material over her head. I screamed and she laughed. Luckily she was part of the church group, obviously she was using the toilet. Did that frighten the living daylights out of me. I found out on some local websites it was known to be haunted. A few years after that in my current house I had the night to myself and had a Ouija board at the time and I lit 3 candles and I tried to summon any being that wanted to come through. I asked it to move something, to show itself, to make itself known. I noticed a blue orb floating and getting closer to me. Pulsating and moving like it was it's own lifeform. Completely natural. As it got close to me I touched the ball, and I could feel the heaviness of the energy. This was the most profound experience I have had. It had a heaviness to the sphere. An energy like fire, steam, or warm air would but it was perfectly incased in this orb. It was beautiful. It must have stayed for 5 minutes, touching my skin, getting closer and further away from me, and then getting closer again. It eventually disappeared. I think I tried to take a picture of it. Another time I was chatting to my mum over a stressful time in our lives. I was in the back room, she was in the kitchen. Talking to me while doing her chores. The back room light where I was flashed 3 times rapidly, and then my mum screamed and a metal Chocolate tin crashed from the cupboard onto the floor. She believes it was her sister who died years ago. I do love this stuff. Edited June 18, 2020 by Fluke

banjo dog
In my last post a few days ago I mentioned that me and my wife had been part of a paranormal investigative group and would relay some of the things we witnessed. One of the evenings was in Great Yarmouth at a museum known as the Elizabethan house. The original part of the building was built for a merchant during the reign of Queen Elizabeth the 1st. The strangest thing that happened that night was when some of us were in what is known as the panel room. So called because the walls are covered in ornately carved oak panels. At one end of this room is a very old extremely heavy oak table. This table is about 8 feet long and 4 feet wide with 6 very thick turned legs. In the middle of this table was an A4 sheet of paper with 5 marbles on it, known as trigger objects, 1 near each corner and 1 in the middle. Each marble was placed in a small drawn circle. We were all standing at the opposite end of the room when we suddenly heard some thing moving then what sounded like some one tapping. The tapping noise slowly increased in tempo but became quieter. When the light was switched on we could see one of the marbles had rolled off the table and had come to a stop under the table. The fact it was under the table is strange in its self. This meant the marble would have rolled back in the opposite direction it came off the table, but with nothing for it to bounce off to cause the reverse movement.

Michi713
I’m sharing something I am deeply ashamed of, but there was a lesson learned. I do not wish to attempt to explain it from a materialistic or scientific perspective as it is not how I experienced it. For twenty years I stayed strictly on the material plane because my experiences with the other realm were filled with demons that I didn’t know how to deal with. I got into a situation where an (angel?) had to aid me as I was in over my head. A year ago I read the book Phenomena by Annie Jacobson, and a couple Carlos Castaneda books (at the time I didn’t know the story of him going crazy and all). So I thought I’d try my hand at divining. In my ignorance I decided to “divine” numbers to play the lottery. The numbers I got were just good enough to keep me trying, but never really winning. Then one night I dreamt I was at a Latin American bazaar with food, gifts, etc. My young son was with me. He is never in my dreams and this was strange. He went over to some sort of animals that were very colorful and had spines and was touching them. I allowed him to play with them but something about them disturbed me. For a week or so I continued to get numbers from a low voice alone in the dark. I started to notice as time went on that my son took on a sort of pallor and got rings under his eyes. Then I realized that I had unconsciously made a bargain with a demon or demons that involved my son! I had checked out the book the I Ching from the library and knew it functioned as an oracle. I went to the I Ching, opened it to a random page and read the prophecy. It confirmed the date, said I was consulting with a malicious entity and to stop immediately. I then asked the low voice if it intended on taking my son. It said yes. It was game over or so I thought. Then one night, without any overlying illness, my son developed a very high fever. He was literally burning up. I had to put him in a bath of lukewarm water to break the fever. It was the most horrifying night. I knew it was a payback for severing the relationship I formed with the malicious entity. I was lucky nothing further happened and my son is fine. This was how I learned never to use my subtle senses for selfish reasons. I now use my senses with the intentions of devotional prayer, reverence, and guidance from God, to be of better service to my family, and to further my spiritual practice. It is not without glitches, and I still encounter demons occasionally, but now I know how to handle myself better.
banjo dog
Not posted any thing on here for a couple of weeks. Have been back to work, but now furloughed again. Due to return to work 10th of August. Whilst taking Banjo dog for a walk earlier (yes we do have a dog named Banjo). I recalled a strange event that you might find interesting. A few years ago I arrived at work one Monday morning to be told that one of my work mates had died of a heart attack the previous morning. On the day of John's funeral those that knew him out side of work and the managers went to pay their respects. Just before 2 o'clock, the time his funeral was due to start, those of us still there started shutting every thing down. We gathered around a pallet and stood in silence. At the time John's funeral was due to start a collared dove flew in the loading bay circled the bagging plant and then flew out the door to the loading bay. In the 4 years I worked there, that was the only time I saw a bird of any species in there.
SuperstarNeilC
Some years back when I’d just gotten the internet (dial-up connection), I was just whiling away the time on YouTube when I stumbled across a vid of an abandoned insane asylum. It freaked me out just looking at the thumbnail pic. I debated whether I should watch it. - I had a feeling it would bring bad vibes into my flat if I did. I thought, “Fuck it, I’ll watch it”. I clicked on it, and at that exact second the fire alarm went off in my flat. An ear-splitting high-pitched wail. I had to get up from my chair, walk to the alarm, reach up to the ceiling and switch it off. The *exact second* I clicked on it the fire siren shrieked !!

Rolandson
I have a question about perception. Everybody's perception is different I get that but how different? Like I see blue this way and somebody does see blue as let's say red but it is still blue too him because that's how we learned it. Something weird happened to me as well last year as well on a rehab in (Bad Ischl) Austria. 2018 I could touch the ceiling from the room. I never could do that. 2019 I couldn't. Two people saw that and I don't get it at all.
