the government have given everyone the opportunity to not wear a mask

where putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress

it is not a medical condition that will be on any medical record at any gp surgery.

a. you've never been asked to wear a mask before

b. you can't get to see a gp to get it added to your medical record anyway

Too many people are afraid of being confronted by a mask wearer. I have started to see a few more people not masked up and had a brilliant conversation a couple of weeks ago with a young man in Tesco's. He asked me if I had heard of Vernon Coleman, silly question. I admit I felt very conscience not wearing one at first when they were made compulsory. Now I actually find my self looking forward to going into a shop with out one. Head up, don't look guilty act normal and if any one does question me I am armed with enough information. Having said that a work mate this week did say it was people like me who were going to get us back in the shit again. I don't expect to win all battles.

I had the opposite this evening! I got on my bus to travel home from work, and there were a few more passengers than normal, so my choice of seats was a bit limited. (To be fair, while I choose not to wear a face covering on the bus, I do at least have the decency to respect my fellow passengers and keep my distance)

I ended up sitting in front of someone masked up. IN FRONT.

I swear that the bus hadn't moved more than a few metres after I had sat down and got comfortable, when the person behind me shuffled out of their seat to sit further back!

I said and did nothing at this point. But it did feel really crazy and sad that someone WEARING A MASK felt so uncomfortable because I - a non-masker - had dared to sit IN FRONT of them.

I must point out that the bus I was on was one of these fancy new ones that National Express West Midlands use, with high-backed seats. This guy was in NO DANGER from me sat in front of them.

Just look at how paranoid people have become as a result of this psychological warfare being waged on them.

Less than twelve months ago, bus passengers here were worried about being 'unsafe' on buses because of violent knife crime and anti-social behaviour.

People are complaining about buses being 'overcrowded' when they are half-full. Yet last year passengers complained about 'overcrowding' when they had to stand because there were no seats available.

Face coverings will be mandatory for retail staff and customers moving around indoor hospitality venues in England from Monday, the Government has announced.

Mr Johnson said: “We will extend the requirement to wear face coverings to include staff in retail.

I started a retail job yesterday,  I won't/can't wear a mask because of sinus problems. Face shield I just won't wear either.

I will refuse again when they ask me.

Going to be a short job...

I also work in retail and my employer is and has constantly been on my back about the mask wearing thing for months now, hitting me with disaplinary action for not wearing the 'correct uniform' I told them where to go months ago and that I cannot and will not wear a mask. Now this, my manager will be in his element with it. Looks like the last 5 years I've put in are about to come to an end. Just to add my fast asleep so called mother called me this morning to tell me i now have to wear a mask inside my grandmothers house from now on, it enraged me so much I sent her a whole file of information showing that the mask thing is bull**** and that there is absolutely no evidence to say they work, she hasn't spoken to me since

sadly it's all about compliancy- all decisions are drip fed top down.

If companies dont adapt they wont survive.

Our choices are being limited with every decision.

Please do not acquiesce, say you’re exempt and quote the following journal study.

Have the govt even considered the implications of reduced o2 levels from wearing a mask 8 hours a day? (Typical retail shift)

I have a letter from my specialist surgeon dating from 2003 stating mild to moderate hearing loss etc, (which was caused by my sinuses and etc not forming properly, though the letter doesn't mention this.)

So I do have some backup as deafness is a disability, so they have to tread carefully around me.

Maybe you can go to the ' wearing a mask causes me severe anxiety' route?

I actually do have an exemption (I've told and shown my employer this but it just floats past the tumbleweed in his head and straight out of his ear) as I did suffer with quite bad depression and anxiety until my full awakening happened a couple of years back, I've never felt as strong in mind as I do now but I will be playing every card I have

I had an appointment at a hospital today. I've never worn a mask since day one, but these tests were important so I decided I would resist but if it's a choice between no tests or having to wear a mask I would probably succumb for the duration I was in there. These hospitals are the vanguard of HSE (Irish version of NHS) policy, so I knew this was going to be difficult.

I walked inside and a nurse approached me with a box of masks...

"Here's a mask for you"

"I'm exempt"

"Oh, do you have a note from your doctor?"

"No, but according to government guidelines I'm exempt"

"Oh er, do you have a particular issue?"

"I have a 'reasonable excuse' as set out under exemptions in the government legislation"

"Oh I see, I'll just check with the specialist to see if that's okay"

Five minutes later she came back...

"That's fine, take a seat and we'll call you shortly"

So I got the tests done without any further mention of masks, although all the staff were wearing theirs.

Sometimes a hard neck is all that's required🙂

Good on you for standing your ground there. 👍

I think its a sad reflection of where we are now, when even nurses (medical professionals) don't seem to be aware of the government guidelines and exemptions that are in place.

I feel that they think the 'gentle art of persuasion' will encourage 'non-maskers' (for want of a better phrase) to 'cover up'.

Also, I thought PPE for hospitals was in 'short supply', so it is also strange that they are willingly handing them out.

And as for having to 'check with the specialist', this is also a sad reflection of employees in general these days - not just medical workers - being trained to work and operate to regimented training programmes, following the 'rules' and 'standard operating procedures' to the letter. When confronted with a situation 'beyond their programming', they have to 'check' with a superior, rather than use a bit of initiative and do what they believe is 'right'. But then again I guess this is a 'side-effect' of these training programmes, with the 'fear' of facing some disciplinary action for 'not following the rules', stopping people from showing some initiative and making their own decisions and standing by them.

45EMedical treatment

(1)Regulations under section 45B or 45C may not include provision requiring a person to undergo medical treatment.

(2) “ Medical treatment ” includes vaccination and other prophylactic treatment.

prophylactic

(prō′fə-lăk′tĭk, prŏf′ə-)

adj.
Acting to defend against or prevent something, especially disease; protective.
n.
1. A prophylactic agent, device, or measure, such as a vaccine or drug.
2. A contraceptive device, especially a condom.

Masks in the way that the twats are trying to make them law, are a prophylactic treatment and thus currently not actually legal.

The government are acting illegally against their own rules!

Cool.
What about a swab ?
Nothing stuck up your nose ?

No swab or nasal "invasion".

She took my temp with a gun. I asked could she take it off my wrist but she said they are instructed to take from the forehead, so I let her away with that one.

The funny thing was when I was directed to a receptionist to answer a series of questions, "have you been abroad, have you a cough, sore throat, blah, blah"

It was funny because she was behind a perspex screen AND masked, and I couldn't hear a word she was saying partly because there were hospital staff beside me talking loudly through their masks. It's like trying to function in some sort of Monthy Python world.

I think it's either:

a) They know the whole thing is a scam but are afraid their job might be at risk so they simply toe the line, or

b) The believe the whole agenda.

But consider this, these are the figures taken from the HSE website, the very people who employ them.

These are the covid deaths from the initial 'outbreak' until midnight 2nd September.

Total number of deaths 1777

Total number with underlying clinical conditions 1677

Median age 84 years

Mean age 82 years

So according to their own figures in eight months the total deaths without underlying medical conditions is 100, and the average age is 82?

So, where's this pandemic?

Messrs Whitty and Valance have to keep this charade going so they and their cronies profit from the vaccine! The longer they prolong it, the more time their various financially backed pharmaceutical companies have to find the jab! Then all stakeholders will be happy.. Shhhh sheep!

I feel for you mate. I popped into Tescos earlier this evening. Some customers had masks on, some not, same with the staff in there. I put the shitty mask on but pulled it off after 5 mins cos I couldn't breathe properly and it was steaming up my glasses so much I couldn't see properly. I hate the freaking things.

I'll get one of those face shields  instead.
