I can't afford to fork out £100 a pot, a couple of times per week....not yet anyway so I'll have to cover it over my mouth and leave my nose and eyes or wear it on my chin or forehead, back of my head, won't I? OR else I'll be buying a sausage roll or two from Greggs wearing a Bharka. That will be me....OK.

But if you cover your face you fell into the hands of the elite....cos that's what they wanted all of us to.... *facepalm*

Practically speaking, to combat the mask shit people should just buy a card and lanyard from the Hidden Disabilities website declaring themselves exempt on health grounds. Pick a medical condition if you want to be covered if asked, but I think most shop assistants would rather not push for intimate details or invite confrontation unless they're a nasty jobsworth. Most Brits want to avoid confrontation. There are disability discrimination laws still and forcing someone to do something which compromises their health falls into that category. In terms of track and trace or asking for your address to enter an establishment, don't take a mobile phone with you or just buy a ridiculously old phone which doesn't have bluetooth or internet. If they want you to write your address down give them a false one. How the hell are they going to know it's fake if there's no digital verification?  There are ways around all this shit, the cabal are trying to take the piss out of us so respond by taking the piss out of them.

excellent advice right there in that post!

Most Brits want to avoid confrontation.

I think this is why they try to take the piss out of us and succeed, from youth we get told "don't cause any trouble."

My friends tried to get me to go to the pub when it reopened, I plain refused to go, I'm not giving my name and address out to strangers like that.

We need to develop some anger again as a people & stop being so bloody passive.

Yes I mean I can’t breathe for more than a minute with a mask (even a very thin one) but here in Spain it is becoming compulsory wear outside the home. Went to doctors requesting exemption certificate but was given more steroid inhalers just so I can wear a mask! I will not compromise my health further so no inhaler and no mask, also it is where my line is, the one I will not cross. The law says mask must cover nose and mouth.

Are people who do “hold the line” (No masks or vaccine) going to become prisoners in their own homes until they die I wonder.

dude get a razor and cut a long slit (or more) in the mask..it wont be visible but you can breathe?

When my kids were young I used to tell them...

"As you go through life you will probably discover that around 90% of people are stupid"

Now they tell me...

"Dad you were wrong, the figure is closer to 95-98%"

Little did I realise at the time that the elite were going to provide a verifiable means to prove the point.

I don't know what the answer is to compulsory mask wearing. They seem to have gone crazy in places like UK, Spain and parts of the US.

Here in Ireland there seems to be little mask wearing, especially in rural areas, and I get the impression a large chunk of people won't comply even if the are made compulsory.

I know it's difficult for some people to do, but I did warn people here weeks ago to "stock up" if possible.I might want to go shopping tomorrow but I don't have to.

I could probably survive for literally months without going to a shop if I needed to.

The only thing I would say is if they have to don a mask to go shopping, buy a shitload of stuff if possible that will last so you only have to wear a mask once a month or whatever.

Obviously it's a different matter if you have to wear a mask for work or public transport and you'll have to come up with your own solution.

But there is some ridiculous bollocks making the rounds too, like compulsory mask wearing in the home. Can anyone tell me how they propose to enforce that?

It's nonsense.

On April 3 the CDC released new guidance stating we should all wear cloth face coverings while out in public.

This new guidance is not to suggest that a cloth face mask will protect you from contracting the virus. Instead, it is intended to protect others from you should you be infected but not symptomatic.

" it is intended to protect others from you should you be infected but not symptomatic. " which is stupid how can you spread something if you don't sneeze or cough?  How much more BS Can I take ARRRRGH!

I'm lucky inasmuch as my wife and I are in our 70s and don't have to work......We can shop online thankfully.

Medication is delivered too.

Like me, my wife refuses to be muzzled.

Fuck shops. They're full of wankers anyway.

We need to save shops, cash, local economy mate.
If we rely on online shopping, we give away the remnants of competition since Gates and co own the internet.
Besides, we need to stay united. Young and middle aged groups should be spared from the mask-torture too.

I could not agree more. Excellent point.

Yes but while it is a good point, but the other option to wear a mask would also be conforming to the elite’s agenda. And then in the future, how to avoid the vaccine that seems more and more likely to be mandatory? I’m not usually so negative but to me right now, it looks as though we’re stuffed!

I have a rather nice Merino neck warmer, purple one, looks cool and scrunches up, Buff Merino make.  It's ideal for coastal areas where the wind and cold can get up.

In the Plane of the Damned people are not going to be nicer than they are, they are sick and fallen beasts who do nothing but create chaos and live without meaning.

In this world parents have always sacrificed their children to fit in with society, the whole society is a plague.  Make your rebellion a hidden one especially when it is festering.

I have been thinking I might have to copy the Peter hitchens route and buy a ww2 gasmask if the local newsagents get funny.

Good point. Just thought of something similar. I will wear one of these over a face mask:

+1

I was thinking of a Russian GP5 or GP6 respirator would be in order and maybe with a T shirt printed with something like "I don't fancy your chances with that paper mask".

A most excellent choice.  I would of thought that the Groucho Marx novelty mask would be quite adequate on its own, as surely the COVID would be drawn into and neturalised by the synthetic polyester moustache by the static electric charge - blind them with science.

I've only just heard that it's going to be mandatory in shops here next Friday.

What a set of wicked, shameless c*nts our government really are. May they all expire from their imaginary Covid. I really mean that.

I second that!

I fully agree to the extent of 40%, but no worries, the time of semantics (and of syntax) is over.

This is a serious question for those of you who say you will never wear a mask. When the rules (probably law) come in saying masks must be worn when outside your home irrespective of ability to social distance or medical exemptions what will you do, how will you live? I will likely be in this situation within a few days - I cannot wear a mask, doctor prescribes more drugs and won’t issue exemption certificate and no possibility of online ordering.

Here is the link for exception cards you can print yourself. They seem to be official NHS cards, it is on their website.

https://www.civicmc.nhs.uk/noval-coronavirus/facial-coverings-and-exemption-cards/

Some examples here:

I'm thinking of going for the plain old 'I have a reasonable excuse' card which is 100% true. My reasonable excuse is that they don't work, they are bad for your health and knowing this would cause me to suffer great distress if forced to wear one.

I briefly considered one of these from ebay, but it still feels like giving in - It feels really important to make a stand on this.

Today I went for acupuncture for the first time since the lock down and masks were supposed to be worn. I didn't wear one and no one said anything to me. Better still, virtually every person I saw was mask free, even when I glanced into a hairdresser i was pleasantly surprised to see no one wearing masks in there whilst hair was being cut! In fact my father just went out and got his hair cut with no appointment and no mask the other day, I think it was a Turkish barber - those guys couldn't give a shit lol. Might go see them myself later, make sure to reward any business that doesn't go along with this and we might get some where. We also have a local pub which is running as normal, no booking required just wander in as normal, walk to the bar to order your drink and pay with cash - lovely. The only Covid measure they are taking is a half hearted addition of a bottle of hand sanitiser near the door which no one asks you to use :)

This one looks good too if you really have to wear one.....

Couple of points:

- How long will this latest mask insanity go on for? Until a 'vaccine' is available?

- You have to wear a mask in a shop yet in a pub/bar/restaurant you don't despite being in close proximity to people.

- People who are deaf and lip read... how's that going to work Mr. Johnson?

- I'm assuming the larger shops/supermarkets will enforce this through their not so bright robotic security guards as there is no way the Police can do it. How much backlash will there be there I wonder.

Anyway, there is no way in hell I'm wearing a mask.

Watched Chelsea beat Norwich tonight, lots of tackling, no social distancing and a big group hug when they scored.

How come footballers are immune from any contagion, but travellers and shoppers aren't?

The masks are going to be mandatory in all public places eventually and honestly think during and before this 2nd wave they will have the public wearing them ar home too. Already seen stories popping up on how they are "encouraging" mask use at home
