EVERYTHING MENTAL HEALTH RELATED

Anyone else feel dark energy this past week. I have tried my best to avoid news programs (alternative) but since the Floyd riots I couldn't help but keep up to date with it.

My sleeping pattern has taken a hit again and I have stopped working out, reading, or learning. And the days have been passing me by, I am aging without achieving much. I am in my late 20s now and it seems I can't get out of bed and so far I am destined to be a loser in life.

The drowning out of sane voices, bringing the psychotic ones to the surface doesn't help. The blatant censoring of entertainment and anything against their narrative. Seeing the true nature of those around us, good and bad. The control grid engaging in evil acts. And looking down the barrell of what they could plan out in terms of the outside world being a nightmarish 1984esq dystopia.

The denying of travel, purchasing food, employment, without the correct immunity documents digital or otherwise feels me with a sense of terror.

There are times when I am optimistic, other times where I am a complete misanthrope.

Apparently there's a lot going on astrologically right now which will no doubt be effecting all of us. I do think during these crazy times we shouldn't give ourselves a hard time. There'll be ups and downs, life is an emotional rollercoaster anyway but particularly at this time. When we're having a bad day we need to make sure we be kind to ourselves and don't judge ourselves for being less than perfect. We're souls having a human experience and being human can be bloody hard work at times!

I feel it a lot it's all shit.  I don't think it's enough to disconnect yourself from the dark world ... you have to join a River of light, and connect to that river every day and replace the dark with light.  You can't live without contact.

And that means you have to search for a river of light and commit to it, and remember to go every day.

There are lots of interesting individuals with channels on youtube ... who are doing different normal things, people building log cabins or sailing around the world, or footie supporters, or crafts people, potters and printers  ... or many spiritual people teachers past and present; also interesting historical figures ... Julius Caesar wrote some very long books and there are audiobooks of him talking about travelling fighting and administering around Europe back then, all interesting.  From a different age.

You are in your 20s so all this might seem not interesting ... but many young people just don't have the normal connections to culture and history they need to live.

It's not normal to have only the dark river of total garbage coming at you.  You have to change.

Also daily meditation/prayer is worth giving a shot to.

I listen to music, and also I have a large and still growing collection of board games.  Many board games today have rules for playing solo.  It gets your mind off of all the crazy crap going on, and it gets you away from all the electronic crap.  It's just you, some cardboard, cards, dice and tokens - and a cuppa of Hawthorne & Hibiscus tea, which is good for the heart.

Here's one on Kickstarter I am going to get before the pledging is over:

I find it hard to switch off, even though I should.

I just want to be allowed to go camping so I can go hiking in the wild to escape all the assaults on my senses.

If I want to switch off, all I have is art, old books that aren't tainted and my garden.

I hardly play video games, watch movies or listen to music anymore as I just notice the agendas in them and it pisses me off again.

Yea Ive been feeling a similar way myself. Too much time researching stuff and then the whole situation is driving me nuts. Feeling disconnected from a lot of people because of differing views too.

Wild water swimming seems to be keeping me sane. I just started it. Far better than a chlorinated pool with lanes. I like that there is no rule they can put in place to stop me, no social distance bollocks and they cant take money from me for it either.  If your in UK its cold enough to connect you with your body and gives me relief from it all. If you are near a river I would recommend. Nothing quite beats it.

Thanks for sharing, I must admit I've been feeling a bit strange myself the last couple of days.

I've been having trouble sleeping the last few nights, and I was quite unwell yesterday, feeling listless and tired.

There does seem to be a lot of negative energy about, what with the constant fear-porn from the media about 'coronavirus' and of course the 'aftermath' of the Black Lives Matter protests, which seem more interested now in rewriting history than finding any 'justice' for that black fella assaulted and killed by a cop in the United States.

I try to not let things 'in general' bother me or get me down, but there's definitely 'something in the air' that is causing me to feel a bit unsettled.

I have found that I need mental / intellectual stimulation and so switching off doesn't work, I would rather switch on.  There is a youtube channel "Academy of Ideas" which is about stoic philosophy.  Also I listen to audio books of famous courageous figures, like Julius Caesar Gallic Wars, or History of Japanese Empire and many things.  Also crafts.  And people like Guenon, Evola, Diogenese of Sinope.

Many things out there, these people really test your intellect and stimulate you, then nourish you.

I don't think switching off works for long, you need stimulation but from healthy sources.

Eventually the "news/socialmedia" just seems like a disease and you stop even wanting it.

Oh yeah, there is also a website for A.R.C "Art Renewal Centre", which has many high res images from the Realism movement, really beautiful stuff.  It's worth going to have a look just to see incredible things with your eyes, not just talk and words but images and spend some time enjoying them with your eyes:

Turn off the news, or read things with a positive bias.

Filling yourself with other people's darkness  won't  help you.

Or objectively look at the news, then let those things go

I make a point of going for a  walk  every day and trying to do 3 miles, it's a small aim but it's a focus point.

Don't really look at the news at all.  Just got back from a 3 mile walk.  Damn, it's hot out there where I am.  84F and 78% humidity.

I used to love swimming in the Loire in the massif central of France.... and any ponds or lakes I could find.....

I find England is paranoid about water and the idea that the last thing  you should ever do on a hot day is jump in for a swim.... I think it's some weird Victorian hangup or something. The idea that water is something dirty and dangerous and needs to be fenced off and kept away from the public lest they fall in and die like stray sheep.

I've got the Indian Ocean where I am now....... the water is so warm now it's like swimming in the bath ...... I like to get in the pool afterwards to cool down.

News is definitely a no-no.

I took a break from all media (including here) a few days ago and I'll be doing the same tomorrow. You can only take so much negativity before it wears you down.

Doing anything involving nature is a great antidote and creates calmness and positive energy. Sometimes I work in the garden cultivating crops and other times I just walk around the rest of the field which is still wild and overgrown. I've started fermenting wine from things in the garden, dandelion wine, nettle wine and rhubarb wine.

Having dogs is a great distraction from the negativity too. They're not arsed about 'the global plan' they just want you to throw a stick and are great for keeping you grounded.

For indoors I have a room set up with some keyboards and I can mess around pretending I'm Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman.

I might play some music (Rush or Floyd being my go to atm) or watch a movie or series but usually from the '80's or earlier and remind myself what life was like before Gates and Google fucked with everyone's minds

Do you remember an old one which had a dragon gate in it? I want to buy all three but can’t remember the name.

I'm feeling physically unwell with it - headaches and exhaustion & grumpiness. I'm trying to keep it in check though.

See if you can pamper yourself a bit to help keep your chin up, Fluke. Exercise followed by a lovely long soak in the bath, then a bit of meditation - read a lighthearted book, or do something creative if you have an arty streak.

Glad to hear you've got the Indian Ocean to take a dip in, very nice, good for you. ?

Don't know exactly what you mean about England/English being paranoid about water though Truthspoon?
Dirty and dangerous?   Nehhh - never heard that one?
Granted you wouldn't want to get in a bath I've been in first.....

We fackin love the stuff mate!! (I think I speak for most English people here?)
You should see our beaches on a hot day, yes,the water is - more often than not - as cold as fuck and can make your balls retreat for dear life when you wade in, but usually after July - the water temperature can approach ok to good(ish),  especially if it's a warm week.

Obviously no where near as warm as the med or indian ocean, but it's all good and the beaches in Britain and Ireland are stunning.

Come down to cornwall or devon on a warm day here and you would change your mind.

Uve got saltwater thats even better.  Altho I think there is something about the cold water that does something to peoples mental health, in a good way. Its not so much the exercize more the coldness haha.

Its becoming more common up north been a bit of a movement behind it over past few years. Im still new to it but can see myself getting addicted. There is still some paranoia about  it for sure, something germ related no doubt

Compare France to England, Mr Sickofthebollocks, In France every stretch of open water is swimable and no one is forbidden from swimming in ponds and lakes.

In England you are not allowed to swim in ponds or lakes, and like I say, they fence off local ponds so no one can swim in them.

When the weather is hot there is always the warning from the local TV news that you might DIE jumping into cold water on a hot day. They do this every year just to put you off.

Haven't you noticed how hard to near impossible it is to actually be permitted to swim in fresh water in England?

I noticed because I love swimming in fresh water on a hot day and in England it's virtually impossible.

Been to alot of countries Mr Truthspoon but not France so couldn't say - great for the french? though if that is the case.

I didn't know that?  I've been here all my life and that's new to me buddy, infact, you are allowed to swim in lakes, ponds.    Yep - it's all allowed - but not advised for big lakes and big rivers (due to nanny state government) unless you're a strong swimmer.  (however - a little pond in a garden would be fine - but you probably mean a small lake or something?   Still fine.

When the weather is hot there is always the warning that you might DIE.
I think you mean all the lifeguards on beaches and stuff don't you?    The currents are very strong all around the British Isles - especially so on the side that faces the atlantic.
For that reason and also the nanny-state government that thinks that everyone but them doesn't know how to wipe their bums.
We like the lifeguards - but pretty much everyone hates the government - they're pricks. (as they are everywhere)

Haven't you noticed how hard to near impossible it is to actually be permitted to swim in fresh water in England?
Honestly mate -NO.  I've lived in 6 or 7 large cities in Britain and visited just about everywhere.   It's probably not advised - especially in winter, as you know it can be very bleak here in Autumn and winter, think it's down to common sense really and wether you're a strong swimmer?
