Heavenman
“People who use public transport are profoundly sensible. They do what they are asked, as long as what they’re asked is sensible. And we’re just saying please wear them, because it’s good for you, and it’s good for protecting, eh, protecting others”. What a pile of patronising nonsense (bollocks) from Sir whatshisface!. It’s not sensible, they’re not just saying “please wear them” & it’s not good for you. Lies, lies, lies!.
TruthSeeker27
Just a quick glimpse of some hope that I want people to see. This is from the Daily Mail comment section. In the best rated section, many of the people are seeing through the lies. The second best rated comment says this. "Nope, Rules? Social conditioning!!! Wake up before it's too late. These people are using a virus to control us.... Pure and simple. They will mentally weaponize this virus and use the weak minded obedient fools who believe this lie as an example for all to follow. If we don't follow their "rules" we risk (eventually) being charged with manslaughter using their tracking system as evidence. This is an RNA virus, naturally occurring as with every flu that's occurred over human history. The figures are fixed. This government is lying 100%" Over a thousand people have upvoted that comment. So you see, not all hope is lost. People are seeing through the lies, they just don't realise how deep this rabbit hole goes. Here's a link to the comment section, and then just click on best rated. http://dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8388955/Face-coverings-COMPULSORY-public-transport-England-June-15.html#comments Edited June 4, 2020 by TruthSeeker27

Today most people out and about were not wearing them, so I thought great things are improving... I wondered why on earth Grant Shapps was brought into a serious cabinet role, but ofc those without morals will do anything the elite tell them. Good plan Motley that is a great way to deal with this ridiculous law to avoid being fined. I liked that photo of a lady on a bus, looking nonchalant while wearing an eye mask, or sticky tape over the mouth like the Julian Assange poster, with a suitable comment might be fun. hhmm, free Julian Assange masks anyone? OR David Icke with links to his videos on London Real?

Tinfoil Hat
The list of things I need to carry in my handbag has grown too large now (catapult & projectiles, laser lights etc). I'll need to swap the bag for a wheelbarrow. Because I will need to transport a pillow around with me, so that if I spot some fraggle wearing a mask that says, "I can't breathe" on it, I can put an end to their suffering, by quickly suffocating them.

Mitochondrial Eve
The SAGE minutes from the 21st April 2020 (held via Zoom) include discussion about wearing of masks. By their own admission, the evidence of the effectiveness of masks is generally pretty weak. Use of face masks is only recommended for short periods too. There appears to be little consideration of the potential negative impacts of making people wear masks, such as lack of oxygen and breathing in your own viruses etc along with the depersonalisation aspects, and weighing this against the potential benefits. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/888799/S0396_Twenty-seventh_SAGE_meeting_on_Covid-19.pdf
kj35
I don't use public transport. So it's easy for me to say I won't comply. There's others here for whom it is a lifeline. I will however join in any protest we plan. And do all I can. This stops. I'm sure David will come up with thoughts in the podcasts. Any one gets wind of protests can we share them on this thread as well as covid?

If ANY of this was even slightly legit, why now? Why make this mandatory in the middle of June (to be made mandatory on 15th of June), why not in March or April? Why can't people see this is about control, not health? I seriously wonder just how much of the George Floyd and Madeline McCann stuff is being put out there to distract us from the fact that literally, in just the last few days, our liberties have been hit mega hard. From the sex ban (is now actually illegal to make love to someone outside your own home), to Government reviews of lockdown been shifted from 3 weeks to 4 weeks, and now you must lose your identity, your face just in order to travel on public transport... But the protesters and rioters are A okay, aren't they? No law breaking going on there!... *Sigh*. No...no.... Have FUN always. There has never been a time in history where we could wear a party mask legitimately everyday. Make lemonade out of lemon. They have quite a good selection here. https://www.starstills.com/party-masks

Grumpy Owl
The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) put out a survey to people on its mailing list a few weeks ago, to 'consult' on passengers 'feelings' regarding public transport 'post-lockdown'. This was one of the questions presented: I remember warning at the time that this 'consultation' was just a 'glossing exercise' and that the outcome had already been pre-determined. Looks like I was right. I think I may have a solution though...

Tinfoil Hat
I can't find the one that really made me laugh recently. I think it was the bus driver who took a selfie, and he was wearing a hankie or something over his face, and in the background he'd caught a passenger who was an elderly woman, and she had had clearly misunderstood, bless her & was, wearing something like this.
