Oh I keep my eyes and ears open motleyhoo. I went out to the local supermarket this afternoon to get groceries. I live in a very "ethnically diverse" area in the North of England. I put those words in inverted commas because I take people as I find them; I don't think about it in a divisive way, if you know what I mean. I've got eyes in my head, so of course I'll notice if someone is for example Somali or Arabic but only in the way I'd notice someone else had blonde hair and blue eyes. I can also sense moods and vibes and everyone I encountered in the supermarket were the same as they always were, and the people walking down the roads. I even had a Muslim woman initiate a friendly smiley conversation with me, and her adorable 2 year old girl in a pushchair was smiling and waving at me. I had a few friendly words with a smiley young African-British man by the trolleys. I'm glad people round here are just getting on with their lives as usual. I hope it stays that way! I did notice that the loonie commies are getting away with social distancing, but over here our government is finally cracking down on them. Numerous arrests have been made and the PM has said more are going to be made as they have them on video. Their love of taking vids and posting them on Twatter will backfire on them LOL. Roads have been sectioned off and they have been given a route to march down and banned from certain areas. The PM should have done all this right away, but-- the British public can see what these Wanktifa are about and are disgusted with them. We are not on board with them. I see the numerous comments online from ordinary folks remarking on the protesters' hypocrisy; they've offended the Home Secretary Priti Patel ( a British Asian), and she is on their case.
