But demos often are pointless and achieve nothing anyway. These protesters are destroying things and doing nothing constructive. Lobbying for police reforms, better police training, laws against kneeling on citizens and choking them is the way forward. Burning up cities does not endear people to their cause. It makes me want to see the cops actually step on a few more necks. Especially when I see these supposedly "justice for floyd" protesters in their hoodies running in and out of looted stores with arm loads of someones else's stuff who had nothing to do with floyd or the police. Michi713
But what of the rest of us? Those who are not participating in the drama? Are we to continue to be “the consumers?” And drone along in a digital daze? Aren’t we, the majority, the real targets? If hyperconsumerism is economically impossible with the Great Depression that is afoot, what good are we to TPTB?

We're not any good to them anymore, which is why they are probably doing all this now. Surely it's not a coincidence that the elite's plans are coming to fruition just at the point where the average person is no longer needed because of automation.

Tinfoil Hat
I don't understand why the power hasn't been cut off. When these kids come to a sticky end, make no mistake, the police force who bailed had better be held accountable, alongside the Mayor. I'd also like to know where their families are. Your offspring don't stop being yours when they turn 18. The kids themselves may not be very bright, or even nice, but they have been manipulated by evil people, and let down by others. motleyhoo
What a bunch of Bozos. What do you think would happen to them if they actually shot someone protecting the border of property they actually have no legal claim to? I doubt they're capable of thinking that far ahead.

Because the Mayor of Seattle is an extreme Socialist of some kind. I don't know exactly what kind, but probably the lunatic kind. Tinfoil Hat
Farage is out of his radio contract, because he said 'outrageous' things such as the protestors pulling down statues are like the Taliban, and it's mob rule. I.e. he spoke the truth, and that's totally unacceptable nowadays. Nigel Farage quits LBC radio show amid anger over Black Lives Matter comments Faye BrownThursday 11 Jun 2020 2:42 pm Nigel Farage is stepping down from LBC with ‘immediate effect’, the radio station announced. A statement on Twitter said the Brexit Party leader’s contract is up very shortly and following discussions with him, would not be renewed. ‘We thank Nigel for the enormous contribution he has made to LBC and wish him well’ the Tweet added. Farage joined the radio station three years ago, hosting The Nigel Farage Show five days a week. On Tuesday he had his microphone muted during an appearance on Good Morning Britain after he defended slave trader Edward Colston and compared Black Lives Matter protesters to terrorists. He was accused of inciting racism with ‘outrageous’ comments including calling the downing of Colston’s statue in Bristol ‘mob rule’ and comparing anti-racist protests to the Taliban. Farage’s microphone was cut during clashes with host Piers Morgan as well as fellow guests, lawyer and activist Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu and historian professor Kate Williams. It is understood Farage was the focus of anger within Global Media, which owns LBC as well as a host of other radio stations including Capital, Smooth and Heart. The Guardian media editor Jim Waterson said Farage’s continued employment on LBC had been the source of disquiet among staff who had been promoting the Black Lives Matter message. Jack
https://www.influencewatch.org/person/matt-debergalis/ DeBergalis saw ActBlue as a counter to the traditional Republican advantage in direct-mail fundraising, saying, “The other big tool however has been direct mail — it works particularly well for the Republicans, they’ve always had a large advantage in direct fundraising by mail. ActBlue is a nice counter-example: our model, where everyone can use their own language and own pitch for why they’re supporting a candidate, actually works better for the democratic party than for a republican party.” [7] ActBlue became even more prominent in the 2018 midterm elections as it was the primary vehicle for record fundraising for Democratic candidates. The platform raised over $1 billion for Democrats in the 2018 election cycle. It enabled many Democratic candidates to forgo support from business-related PACs and to raise the bulk of their money from small-dollar donors. It also enabled candidates to receive contributions from outside their states and districts. DeBergalis continued to serve as the president and chairman of the board of ActBlue during this time. [8] “It’s an extraordinary time in politics,” said DeBergalis, “I’m proud that we’re part of it. I’m proud we’ve built what we have, and frankly, I think we have a lot of work to do.”
