If you're afraid to, go onto the Ubuntu or pop_os subs on reddit and there's many people to help you. I just made the switch in January and it has been so great I will never go back to Windows ever. Good advice but be under no illusion that you are not seen. From the outset the internet has been 'owned' by them. Don't forget that TOR was exposed as being funded by the CIA. Your best bet is to not be afraid of who you are and what you're saying, they fucking know pretty well everything about you already AND own you. I would be massively embarrassed by some of the stuff I've done online over the years, destroying any credibility I don't have. But I don't care because truth is more important. It's pretty much my attitude too, hence, I just put my own name to all the fundraisers I join against them, and petitions etc. They'd find out who I was if they felt like it, so I might just as well own it and be open.
