The Importance of Beauty

Recommended Posts

Modern architecture is made by c**** and the artwork by degenerates.

"You live in poverty, and you are the poverty"

And as for modern "discussions" it is nothing but the same vomit you see on the cubist mental health 'artwork'.  Means nothing comes from nothing goes to nothing.  These people are in a sad state truth be told.  The world facilitates a life of meaninglessness.

Down in the engine room, the bones and blood of people is in bad condition.  Shit in Shit out.

The human face has become phoney, ego, something quite unfortunate ridding ontop of the shoulders.   Not happy, but not honest enough to do something useful either.  Lives meaningless life then dies with regret.  Tries never to feel anything.  Lost.  Difficult to find a way out.  Starts attacking any good thing left in the world because it interrupts the sea of meaninglessness.

Very unfortunate condition.

Only being honest enough to feel pain deeply and look in mirror, then pray.  If you can still do these things you are lucky.

A new thread about the importance of beauty and the decline in architecture. Why do we often create or build things that are an assault on our senses these days? Why can't people have surroundings tha

I was always fascinated by this since I learned about it at r/culturallayer and stolenhistory.org a couple of years back.

Didn't the Tartarians have something to do with Chicago world fair ?

Plus didn't they construct some of Russia's most beautiful buildings ?

Sorry if this has been posted about before, I haven't had time to go through the whole thread yet.

An ARTIST strives to bring his/her inner beauty to a wider audience - through literature, poetry, philosophy, painting, photography, music, sculpture, movies, architecture, product design and other avenues.

A FASCIST/MASON - through DELIBERATE INVERSION - strives to MIND-NUMB A WIDE AUDIENCE WITH THINGS THAT ARE TECHNICALLY VERY BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTING OR ENTHRALLING, BUT WERE DESIGNED WITH EVIL INTENT.

FASCISTS/PSYCHOPATHS ALSO USE BEAUTY TO MIND-FUCK-TORTURE PEOPLE - YOU LIVE IN A HORRIBLE COUNTRY/SOCIETY, BUT MORE AND MORE THINGS THAT ARE PHYSICAL AND BEAUTIFUL ARE THROWN AT YOU.

The CONTRAST/CONTRADICTION BETWEEN THE TWO BREAKS PEOPLE OVER TIME - YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS, NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH, NO SAY OVER ANYTHING, NO VALUE IN PUBLIC LIFE AND NO PROTECTIONS AGAINST ALL KINDS OF PSYCHOPATHY, BUT THE SAME PEOPLE BUILD NICE BUILDINGS, PARKS, PUBLIC SPACES EVERYWHERE.

ALMOST ALL "OPEN-AIR-PRISON" TYPE SOCIETIES ARE LIKE THIS - LIFE IS TERRIBLE, BUT THE PHYSICAL CITY/COUNTRY LOOKS VERY BEAUTIFUL.

Beauty is functional.

Beauty isn't just "pleasing to the eye" it actually has a function both physically and spiritually.

But humans excel at creating concrete and plastic, soulless skilless spiritless materials, that's the greatest joy ... to not know anything, to have no skill.

All that stuff that aims high, architecture art and philosophy, humans hate it ... they quietly chuckle at all those people "who think they are better than me and the little shithole I live".

And this is the status of human beings.

That's why they go into the ground.

We are lucky that there is anything except barbarism here.

2000 years ago there was a blip of great saints and sages ... but in recent times its vanished.

Such seekers are individuals ... they can muster themselves from within.

They just do it, no matter what the outside is doing.

Anyway, this Earth is cursed.

Mankind will not and cannot be saved.

Not only that they will kill you if you find a way to get out.

They will obstruct you in countless ways.

They hate it ... anything higher makes them feel their lowless.

One has to be cunning, courageous, secretive and generous ... all at the right time.

The only thing a person is proud of when he is put into the grave is those moments when he prevented something beautiful, that is his greatest pride.

Maya.

And it's very interesting to see how creatures of this universe, when they are unhappy, how they behave ... they get angry they take revenge on anything and everyone, they twist things they corrupt things ... it's all a measure of their misery.

Well maybe not everyone.

Why do you hate life so much? Yes there is bad but as this thread is demonstrating (and I've only just got here) there is also great beauty.

Not sure. Tartary is an interesting subject, but I worry that people attribute too much to Tartarians. The Chicago World Fair looks neoclassical to me. The Russian buildings have an Eastern aesthetic and some could likely be Tartarian, or influenced by Tartarian tradition, but who knows really?

I often watch a lot of those youtubers that talk about Tartary, but I mostly just watch for the interesting images from the past, I don't really have much of an opinion beyond that.

And they have the cheek to open the parks and public spaces when needed. They took railings down for the war effort, but I think most went back up.

“I see that the railings are returning—only wooden ones, it is true, but still railings—in one London square after another. So the lawful denizens of the squares can make use of their treasured keys again, and the children of the poor can be kept out.

“When the railings round the parks and squares were removed, the object was partly to accumulate scrap-iron, but the removal was also felt to be a democratic gesture. Many more green spaces were now open to the public, and you could stay in the parks till all hours instead of being hounded out at closing times by grim-faced keepers. It was also discovered that these railings were not only unnecessary but hideously ugly. The parks were improved out of recognition by being laid open, acquiring a friendly, almost rural look that they had never had before. And had the railings vanished permanently, another improvement would probably have followed. The dreary shrubberies of laurel and privet—plants not suited to England and always dusty, at any rate in London—would probably have been grubbed up and replaced by flower beds. Like the railings, they were merely put there to keep the populace out. However, the higher-ups managed to avert this reform, like so many others, and everywhere the wooden palisades are going up, regardless of the wastage of labour and timber."

Well I have my own reasons and history.

In the end ... what are you taking away with you?  What is your yield?
Hating life is part of life, it is life's way of telling you ... now it's time to move on.

Birth is painful.  Why?  Nature likes it that way, it scars you so you don't forget.

What is the yield at the end of a human life?

At the end of your life?

Great topic.

Multiple things have contributed to the lack of beauty in our landscape. One is industrialization and mass production of cheap materials. Our technology also destroys nature and is so strong that we often no longer have to build along natural borders and in tune with the land, but can make it the way we want it to be, which is often sterile looking to the eyes.

There's also a distaste for the old styles among modern architects, as to them it is about a time of ''inequality, Christianity, antisemitism'' etc.etc. The usual socialist ramblings. And you also have modern artists hating on landscape paintings and preferring ''abstract art''.

Another is the decline of religion and praise of God. Just look at the old churches, but also at the detail of art and hieroglyphs in other religions such as in ancient Egypt. There used to be an appreciation for graceful things. Today it is all godless and it feels the same in most modern places. Much of it is godless and socialist.

No reactions, but I agree. Seems like the decline is accelerating big time now that we're moving into the age of satan. All his followers are crawling out of their crypts and they're becoming more brazen by the day.

Anyone else sick of this flat lefty corporate art? It seems to have become the default globalist art style these days. You can't unsee it once you notice it everywhere.

I'm not against minimalism. I think websites definitely look cleaner and load faster with less elements for example. This illustration art style seems soulless and uninspiring though.

Not saying it's as simple as some make out. It has a strong emphasis on curves and geometry, but it still leaves me underwhelmed.

Oh yes, I am sick of it. Governments also use this style all the time.

I loathe it so much.

Beauty for me is when i look into nature and see a self organized organism, that branches out in all different directions, that seems seperated for the observer from the outside, but really is a unite whole.

Beauty for me is to welcome and apprichiate the little things in life that make you happy, that are easily overlooked, but still are important.

Beauty can be to simply sit in your garden and listen to birds singing.

It can be to smoke a joint with your best friend and have the best time by simply apprichiating each others company.

The world in itself is a wonderous place that is a complete mystery to me, because i really dont know what it is, except what i have learned about it. I dont know if that what i learned holds any reality.

Ive learned that by letting thoughts passing by that nature in itself is an unexplainable phenomen and my existence can not be defined by any means. But im still here and reminding myself of this simple fact gives me most of the time great confidence and a spark of awe, for it to be even possible.
