What a timing. I was listening to my teacher's podcast about victimisation today.

When you encounter someone who is always harping on them being a victim, remember...they are there to take your energy by seeking sympathy from you.

The bottom line of victimisation is basically FEAR.

Victimisation means, they are saying "I am/was powerless." which is not true and I'd put it in the category of complaint/moaning which is of very low vibration.

 

Now, the shills might say...I'm getting paid to do this and to play a victim role etc....etc...

But as you know, lie becomes truth if repeated many times. So my guess is that the shills' lives are already in tutters or it will be for sure.

They don't know how this work.

As an amateur astronomer I can tell you that you cannot see stars as spherical shapes because they are too far away.

 

The images in your post are diffraction patterns of light using a defocussed telescope. They have then taken a digital photograph of the defocussed light.  

 

I know because I have seen the same shapes when defocussing the eye-piece of my telescope and pointing at any light source. Any bright distant object will create such a pattern, you could point it a planet and defocus the scope and get the same sort of pattern.

 

Also these images actually show the internal mirror arrangement of the telescope. Notice the last one has three arms which hold the mirror inside the scope.

 

Another example is this. What those objects actually are are defoccused dust particles which have reflected defocussed light  back into the eyepiece. What you're seeing is the internal lens of the camera or whatever equipment was used to film the images.

 

This is common with optics. Defocussing an object will show you the internals of the optical equipment you are using.

Thank you Mr Spoon, I was going to do it but you saved me most of  the effort, Other things that can have an effect on the sharpness of the image

 1  accuracy of the mirror , from memory 1/4 of a wavelength is acceptable these days 

2 Collimation  or alignment of the primary and secondary mirrors

3 humidity

4 the temperature differential between the main mirror and the surrounding ambient temperature

5 the angle of the observed object from the horizon ( the closer to the horizon the more atmosphere and dust the relevant light has to travel through to get to the bucket) and how still or turbulent the atmosphere is,also has an effect

6 the distance of the observable object and what gas and dust clouds  are present ,( inter stellar space has huge gas clouds of hydrogen and dust called alpha lima forests ,well they were back in my day) and there may be two or three of these in between the object and the observer

I'm pleased you mentioned the classic out of focus doughnut with the cross , people don't realize that the hole in the middle is the secondary mirror and the cross is the spider or the mirror mountings ,every time I see that one put up as evidence I have a bit of a chuckle

This will be my last comment on the matter as I'm starting to get a bit sick of it really, and I truly hope they don't come back with why are they different colors, also I find it a bit ridiculous as  the meme says this is our sun and these are closeups of stars , my question would be how can you have a close up of a star when they are many hundreds ,if not thousands of light years away, just saying!

There used to be a video on youtube showing NASA astronauts actually faking being out in space between the Moon and the Earth.  The video started with the astronauts sitting in the command module with all the lights out, and a distant view of the earth coming in through the window.  Then you hear a conversation with NASA about if this is good enough and to be sure to turn off the video and recorder before turning the lights back on.

 

The astronaut then gets distracted and forgets to turn the recorder off.  The lights come back on and there you can see the window with a sheet of cardboard taped over it with a small hole cutout, and when he removes the cardboard you can tell immediately that they are in earth orbit and not at all out in space. they then start having a convo with NASA again about if that will look real enough to fool the public.

Have you ever gone down to the bottom of even a deep pool and felt the pressure on your ears? Now imagine if that pressure was multiplied by a few million gallons of water.

 

Oh, another example, speaking of water weight and pressure, imagine if you had a hole dug in your back yard for a pool. I've actually witnessed this, when my family moved to Arizona in 2001, after our new house was built, in 2002 my father took us to Paddock pools one day to design a pool for the backyard. Weeks later the crew showed up to start the build and I watched the guy operating the backhoe dig the shape of the pool. It was cool to see the dirt below and watch them sink the rebar and then blow the concrete and smooth it out into the shape we drew up.

 

What I'm getting at here is that before they sink the rebar and blow the concrete and smooth it out and it dries, underneath is dirt, Earth's crust. But say there was only the rebar and concrete and the Earth wasn't there, say it was nothing but space underneath.

How thick would the concrete need to be in order to hold up say 10,000 gallons of water? One gallon of water weights about 8.3 pounds. At 10,000 gallons of water that's about 83,400 lbs give or take 50 lbs.

So how thick would the concrete of the bottom of the pool need to be to hold 83,000 lbs safely?

Now consider, IF the Earth were flat, how thick would it have to be to hold the MILLIONS of gallons of water in the ocean? And while you're working on that, how much does one million gallons of water weight if one gallon of water is 8.3 lbs?
