When someone quotes someone only part of the post being answered is shown ... this is a good idea because people didn't have the wit themselves to reduce the original post !! and would often duplicate a massive post and add some stupid comment like "great idea" .... This takes up lots of space and costs money to store .. so this is good it has steam lined the forum ... But all these space saving benefits have been lost cos now our posts are jammed into the left hand two thirds of the page ... the right one third is left empty !! except for the top which is full of rubbish ! ..What genius thought that up!! Someone who only knows twitters and tweets is used to doing everything on a phone with a cramped format . Cramped format gives cramped expression and cramped ideas good for tweeters but not appropriate for this forum So this is another example of the forum being sabotaged ... dumbing it down , making more friendly to phone users who make snap banal comments when out on the street , between chatting to their friends , no real thought in a post .. Computer users are typically at home , on their own and give more attention and thought to posts ... The option to do so is not appearing in the drop down menu accessed by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. Please can a moderator explain why this has happened to me.
