Contract sold to Numnuts......what's your price ?  :classic_tongue:

For free. I already had the PTB trying to seduce me, but no pile of dirty money they could conjure up would ever be high enough.

Give me an idea of a thread you want to save Kj?

Mainly petrol oil watch and What is the moon??

the petrol oil watch was just getting tasty - me and jaguar Paw were making inroads in understanding what is going on - at least I thought so.

The ideal solution, in my 'untechie' mind, would be to retrieve the forum that went down on Saturday morning; then shift all of the threads from this temporary forum on to that forum; then to migrate the now resurrected forum that went down on Saturday morning to the new forum (sigh); and then to retrieve the old forum from 2006, at least temporarily, so that preferred threads from there can be migrated on to the new forum. Sorted. :classic_laugh:

Indeed that would be great, however merging the posts, users,  post counts and reputation score of 3 forum databases, including ones which may have been compromised, is probably not that straightforward. If the new forum is going to be on a different platform then that might also add some complication. I imagine the admins are doing their best to get things up and running as soon as possible. It would help us anxious punters if there was some kind of noticeboard or read only thread where they can give regular brief updates so that we know what's going on.

Well if I have to copy and paste each item bit by bit on the new platform, so be it. I'm sure between us all we can restore something resembling what we had. As a newish person I can always chip in and help on others threads if they had loads of content e.g Muir

I didn't mean to suggest that the old 2006 forum should somehow be merged with the upcoming, new forum. When it comes to that old 2006 forum, I was just hoping that it could be put back online, temporarily at least, so that us forumites can manually copy and paste preferred threads from there over to the upcoming, new forum. This probably would take a bit of care and attention, due to presentation considerations, and I would far rather do it with direct access to the old 2006 forum. For example, some threads from the old 2006 forum seem to be 'uncacheable' on search engines for some currently unknown reason, as i have already mentioned, plus I can't even remember all of the threads that I would probably like to migrate over. I would like to look at the full menu again first.

I agree that it would be nice to get more updates on time scales and on what is and isn't possible. Not nice being a forumite pleb is it. :classic_laugh:

Hopefully we can have themes. I prefer dark themes

This!  I use Linux Pop!_OS and with one click I can set everything to dark theme, except Firefox.  Websites have to offer that feature themselves, like the way Reddit does it.

Because I surf a lot at night, I always use dark.  It's even better during the day.

We're currently building a brand new social forum that will be better integrated, have more options, including zoom conference capabilities, chat rooms etc. Plus far better security.

Hopefully won't be long at all.

This sounds very much to me like the new social forum will be built on a new platform, and InVision is going to get dropped.

I don't know what 'better integrated' refers to, whether this means a Wordpress forum 'bolted-on' to the main DavidIcke.com Wordpress site. Or it will be a seperate forum with better integrations to other platforms.

I must admit, the XenForo software used by StolenHistory.org does seem very capable.

If the current David Icke Social forum database is intact somewhere, it should technically be possible to 'migrate' that database into another forum platform, provided it has such a migration option.

But regardless of this, if we want to 'decentralise' things, it is important that vital information is stored in as many places as possible.

There are a number of contributors to this forum that have provided some very comprehensive posts with lots of detailed information. However if you only ever post this stuff in one place, like this forum, you run the risk of all your work being lost, in the event of a major hack or breach.

I'd urge people to start a blog somewhere, use something like Blogspot or Wordpress, and post your stuff to that, as well as posting it here. Much in the same way that if you create videos, don't just upload them to Youtube, but use Brighteon, DailyMotion or BitChute as well.

If you're able to, buy a domain name and some webhosting, and post your material on your own website. There's nothing to stop you also sharing your information from your blog into a public forum like this one.

From memory Grumpy Grapes does this very well already, posting stuff here, with links to their own website. Off the top of my head, and not wanting to single any members out, Muir and DannyUK's postings would be worthy of their own blog sites.

I've been writing stuff on my own website for a couple of years now, and while I've not always shared content with this forum, I do now believe that we need to 'decentralise' and not keep content solely in one place.

So by all means, lets have a David Icke Social forum platform for people to share and discuss ideas, but please take your own steps in order you protect and maintain your own content. Who really cares if your own website doesn't enjoy a massive reach? As long as the people who matter get to see it, that's all that counts surely?

That's my opinion anyway.

According to the news outlet the Daily Star, low-energy neutrinos can pass by our planet with no problem, barely interacting with anything.

Nevertheless, high-energy particles will be stopped by our planet's solid matter, which is why these high-energy particles are detected coming "down" from space.

I used to be a Reactor Operator.  It was cool watching the meter (forget its name now) bump up and down against zero as cosmic particles went through the shutdown reactor.  In other words, you can see that we are constantly bombarded by cosmic particles from space when you watch the meter reacting to them when a reactor is shutdown.  Every particle makes the meter jump off of zero for a second.
