I did utterly delete the email address I used on here .... then went and created another one .... with an even longer and more complex password!

Might be a good idea to do the same?

If we do that does how do we get notifications of potential hacking etc?

Set up a new email then change the one here, in your account, then you will get an email to confirm the change, then happily delete the old one.

Good question .... I don't know!

And now I am not admin, I can't check on it.

Hey GR .... thought you might ask me that :)

No I am not a mod.

Wouldn't be much point, as if they did it again (which would be very much harder to do now) then my account would definitely be deleted!

That doesn't mean that Gareth hasn't setup something else though :)

I m not too worried about my email address but my profiles linked to it.

I did not receive any email/warning from the David Icke Forum telling me that my personal information could be in the wrong hands. Is their responsibility to inform you (AS A MEMBER) specially when someone have access to your personal details. I don't have a subscription to the exclusive contents but those who have..... their banking details are already sold on darkweb...?I don't know what to think. Is the site irresponsible? Was there an actual attack - or just a hoax for media attention...?

All that this forum requires to post is a username/password/email address. With database access they will have your IP address unless you are spoofing it.

If you're not using a burner email, then make sure your email password is secure, and the password submitted for this site is not used anywhere else.

I would recommend changing passwords. As far as we can see, they gained access to the admin panel, which doesn't store passwords. IPs and email addresses only.

There are no bank details stored on this server, or any of our servers.

Add to that a firewall and make your router password really really really crazy long and complex!

For mobile users I do reccomend the new Huawei P40 series

Starting from £270

Not the safest, is still based on Android.

Google services are not installed.

No access to location, targeted advertising etc...

?
