Astral explorations

The thing is, not long afterwards, I read something about some chap who's name I don't remember, describing precisely the same experience. He reckoned that it was a prelude to astral projection, and described his adventures in the astral plane.

When I read that, it made me want to have the experience again, with the intention of letting it climax instead of resisting it, so that I can astral project, but it has never happened, so I can't do it. I've tried meditating, breathing exercises, and focusing on my third eye, but nothing!

You may wish to read the book The school of out - of - body travel  A practical guide book by Micheal Raduga or Munroe I cant remember his first name off hand , you are correct about the prelude to astral projection , you can actually feel the energy building, when it happens don't do anything just go with it , my biggest problem was when it happened I used to think you beauty here we go and as soon as I did it would stop

I like drugs too.

In every astral experience I had, I was never under the influence of any substance. I posted this thread for discussion of the astral realm exploration. xx

I think I know the difference between astral projection and lucid dreaming, thank you Jason.

Which are your favourite places to visit 'up there'?

First time I astral projected, all I could see was my bedroom full of blue electrical beams that I was floating in, like a sea.

....but when I even think of visiting the Moon I get goosebumps! Very weird, so I wonder if any of You have been to the moon before, or is it best to avoid it due to shadowy stuff that goes on up there...,

Greetings

Avoid it. It's more than shadowy. You got very accurate feeling/ psychic feedback regarding that place. It only makes sense for you to take your own direct awareness into acc.

Can you recommend anything to try to bring that sensation back?

You won't have it again and no amount of exercise on astral projection from any manual will help UNLESS and until you go back to that moment in the past and change your decision/choice that you then made. Your choice, either conscious or unconscious is a law in your own universe. All your systems only follow your choice. That's why you are where you are now with this particular situation. Recreate the same level of emotional determination and charge you had then, cancel your previous decision and declare what you choose now in regards to these experiences. Then you can practice exercises from any manual. You gotta be in love with your new decision. What you say verbally to yourself or aloud is of little significance. What you truly intend and what you declare energetically (emotionally) is of value and influence. This is what your body will pick up and this is what the entire creation takes into acc.

No but why would you?

Do you want to become an acolyte in the esoteric arts, study long hours and even longer years over the mystic pathways, travel on ever lengthening astral jouneys into the veritable heart of the cosmos seeking the eternal truth, search out the ancient ones on the forbidden planet who see all things, climb the pristine steps of the holy mountain, knock on the door of the hidden one and ask the question that the whole universe with every fibre of it's being yearns for an answer to?.......

.

......You will be told "Fuck right off and never come back" out loud.

That's the type of answer I would expect from some smug so & so who'd like to portray superior knowledge that they don't actually have, Serpentine. I very much doubt people are penalised by the universe for having wrongly thought they were under attack from something they could not see.

There are different types of what people call ghosts IMO , the visit by a ghost or spirit is what stuck out to me in the OP

There are those more like a photo negative of a moment in time and appear to hold no awareness of their current surrounding

Then there are those that while replaying a moment in time , appear at times to react to the presence of the living if only for a brief moment

Then there are fewer still who appear to be fully aware of the presence of the living and may attempt various interactions depending on who is around.

Then there are deceitful energies that appear as the spirits of the dead but are not , their intentions are rarely if ever kind

Me personally Ive had interactions with what people call ghosts ever since being a child and for whatever reason I havent ever lost that ability to see or be seen

I rarely like to talk about it because

A. People tend to take the piss ( mock )

B. They are scared of someone who talks about such things

C. Occasionally people allude to mental illness

It takes me awhile to gage if I can talk to people about it and even then longer still to open up more

Usually I wait until someone brings something up themselves and how they present themselves as either open or more closed to it all

Anyway to the OP @megatron3 have you ever experienced what people call ghosts or spirits while just here in everyday places ?

megaton, when you go out of body, do you do so with your astral body, or just awareness (ie no body)?

because have accidentally travelled a few times, though not always with an astral body, ie just my awareness and no body at all

We are all made out of the same energy - I recognized that fact from a very young age (by feeling), so I always have felt connected to spirituality, esotericism etc.., the experiences only confirmed the existence of something greater than us.

I have experienced spirits of my beloved family members before, yes. Usually happened in places that was special to them.

Can agree on the 3 (A, B, C) points you made! Does make me wonder if some people's awareness exists at a lower frequency (if possible).

Thank you for the contribution,

xx

Very interesting experience, rooey. It seems like a great ability.

When I exit, my perceived body looks exactly the same, and I have walked around in my astral body without even realizing it.

Of course it is also possible that our astral body is just another false perception (I would very much like to hear other members opinions on this too), and perhaps a way to access your true form is with the help of hallucinogens, the ones freely provided by mother nature. Of course nothing comes close to Mr. Icke's description of his experience with ayahuasca, I found it captivating, and I hope one day to have the opportunity to try it myself.

xx

Using modern "scientific terms" what you have described is only natural and also trainable, it is called remote viewing.

You can also astro project, and if one's full of crap, the crap entities one will meet and they will stick to such individual, just like it happens in social life when it comes to ppl. There are other kinds of beings who are very aware and very evolved. Don't buy into other ppl fear comments on the matter. They usually don't have any personal experience or only 1-2 experiences and both are negative. They never then cross the crap line to go any further in their exploration of their own consciousness.

Keep practicing and keep expanding your awareness. What you describe is remote viewing. A well known thing.

Can recommend Ingo Swann's book everybody's guide to natural ESP.

I've not got the same tingling all over others are experiencing but my third eye area has been 'crawling' since I woke up. And it's getting stronger daily and stronger when i meditate. I'm trying not to lay too much store into it in case it's a matrix trick but it seems to be acting like a 'hot/cold' barometer as far as subject matters go if that makes any sense to anyone ? If it does make sense to anyone please someone say -it's starting to drive me nuts.

It makes sense that someone from a Masonic background, who has always fitted perfectly into a community would interpret an original metaphysical experience as being a threat to themselves and their territory. Those who have never been part of a society or parish committee are ready for eternity.

You are fine. The planet has been flooded with various intense high vibrational energies lately (last 3 weeks on and off, last 3-4 days in particular), many ppl are feeling what you have described, I assure you you're not crazy. You are just coming back to your other more advanced senses (literally) that have been deactivated or atrophied. Get used to the sensation and get curious.  Also, the Schumann resonance was off the chart yesterday again. I'd recommend you to meditate more and while you are meditating, feel into the new sensations with curiosity, not judgement. While meditating ask yourself questions about the new sensations or whatever relevant and listen to your awareness, listen to what you already or instantly know. And don't count on the linear verbal answer, count on awareness and don't force it, invite and expect it.

A Masonic background? I'm the wrong gender to have a 'Masonic background' - have spoken (probably before you swooped in) of previous supernatural encounters, and have practiced white witch craft for a period of time in the past, as well as Reiki.

As stated, this was a very profound, physical experience, affecting me from being tiny, always when I was in a state of exhaustion, which I believe would frighten most people, and I wondered whether it was some kind of a fit, then whether there was something attacking me. If you've experienced the same yourself, you'll know what I'm describing, and if you haven't, you're not really qualified to advise.

I'm fairly sure you're trying to have a dig because I once said that my ex-husband and father were Masons. If so, shove it in your ear lad. Neither my ex nor my Dad were involved in anything nefarious, and even if they had have been,  I wasn't, so it would have bugger all effect on my perception of such a phenomenon, regardless of what kind of spin an ignorant person would like to apply to it.

Freemasonry has a teleological purpose for humanity and if you don't fit into this 'great work of ages' you are worthless.

Lower degree Freemasons beneath their charitable work for favoured causes are the most aggressive and territorial humans one could meet.

They are typical self-made men or self-made thugs as I prefer to call them, who are pillars of the community. They will use their secretive connections in local communities to sabotage the lives of anyone they take an irrational dislike toward or who do not fit into their perfectly ordered community.

Pathetic, that you should try to tell me about 2 people who I know, and you've never met - yet you are the expert (not)!

Looks like I was right in thinking you've no knowledge of astral travel you want to share in this thread about astral travel, and just hoped to drop in with some made up BS on an unrelated matter. I could read you like a book the first post of yours I saw.

So that's 2 topics you know F all about. What a surprise.

Just looked up Schumann resonance.  Might make a good topic for a thread on new forum?

Member Dawn did a thread on decalcifying the pineal gland too which explained tons.

I've been meditating on this, am not liking the answer I'm getting (for me personally) but just like being here, on this forum, nothing I can do now. I've seen through the matrix and here I am although I really wish I could unsee it.

About making the Schumann resonance topic a new thread, agree it's a good idea.

About the answer you are getting but don't like... There are some things... self imposed things that filter out and sort of distort some liberating info for you that you wish to receive. The remedy is to keep asking relevant, out of the box questions until you get more pieces of the same pic and see where you were fooled by your own mind or its interpretations. In other words you need to become very bold and sincere with yourself. There is a part of you that knows where the exit is and there are parts of you that don't want to know what you know. But then you decide that what you know is the bottom line. It's not. Keep going until you make the discovery you need to make. From what I see, and I am not denying that you had your convincing glimpses of awareness, the problem is, you don't own that awareness (it's more of a memory, not full realisation that you fully own and live). You covered only quarter of the way to the exit, not even half, if I am to speak in linear terms. Partially it's laziness mixed with tiredness, lack of motivation and some residual feeling of despair. You see, you can only be stopped through you, not through anything external. The matrix is in you, you are not in the matrix. That's why there is no spoon.

Yep. I'll  take that. Especially the parts of me that don't want to know what I already know. Which actually fits the vision I'm continually getting.

Thank you

Also . Astral projection. Did it accidentally before surgery when already under anaesthesia.  Could describe the room and husband leaving and what he did- just like people describe in NDE only wasn't dead.

Think / know I've had other experiences of it too but am currently suppressing knowledge as more stuff is seeping out daily and I'm worried that soon the small trickle will become a tidal wave that I know i won't be able to control and I won't be this person anymore.

Or perhaps I'm just crackers.
