I'll look into this more. Well I don't know about that, but I believe there may be some misconceptions about the Earth's magnetism, based on the theory that the Earth's core is a solid ball of iron. I don't know how we know this 'for certain' as we've never actually tunnelled that far. But electromagnetism and the 'Electric Universe' theory does resonate with me somewhat. The Earth itself does not need an iron core to be magnetic. Its all incredibly fascinating, to look at models of solar systems, with 'planets' orbiting around 'stars', and then to compare them with the make-up of atoms and molecules, with protons and electrons orbiting around and all that. "As above, so below" and all that.
