I find that people these days are inherently lazy ,it's a lot easier to use utube videos to do their debating and with this brings some very inherent problems. First off they form an opinion then confirmation bias sets in and they cherry pick, disregarding anything inconvenient and then the debate degenerates into ,look at this ,well what about this then or have you seen that and all the while the sad fact of the matter is their not thinking for themselves,they have just become unwitting parrots or a mouth piece for someone else that has a vested interest in how many times their particular video is played. Not just for laying waste to a few key points of the debate -but actually displaying the dynamics of the debate. And FE Dave was keen to hop over to different points to avoid the conclusion of the previous point. Also extremely evasive and miss-using words and language to muddy the waters. It was just like a little snippet of this thread played out by actors in a scripted scene... I agree, I've had lots of posts deleted myself , however in professor Dave's defense and mine for that matter ,there are just so many times you can roll your eyes or bang your head against the wall,without the odd "for fucks sake " slipping out . They we’re discussing NASA and FE etc. Weiss and the presenter were discussing Werner Von Braun. Repeatedly Weiss referred to Von Braun as Russian, which the presenter did not correct. Regardless of the truth of FE, David Weiss who cannot get something as simple as a nationality correct, is clearly not worth listening to. Really sloppy research.
