I'm not entirely sure why it causes such division here - but I wasn't on the old forum so I don't have full understanding of the problems here. But at the end of the day whether it is flat, round or a triangle it actually doesn't matter much to your everyday experience which will be exactly the same - so not sure why it stresses so many people out. Well said Mr H, I completely agree, why would an awakening person who should be considering all possibilities of this existence, NOT be at least a little open to the considerable plausibility of flat earth? It has always surprised me the display of aggression and piss taking by supposed awakening people on here to the very real possibility of Flat Earth? So much aggression, name calling and ad-hominem-inemineminem attacks on their fellow awake brothers and sisters who are just trying to get their opinion out there. Are they onto something? The flat earthers? I think so. But I honestly DON'T KNOW? That's often the reason for so much backlash isn't it? That they're onto something that the establishment wants to ridicule? To a newcomer on this forum looking at the flat earth discussions on here - I think anyone with a modicum of sound reasoning and intelligence can see that the Flat Earther posters here win the argument every time, why? Because they are not the instigators of aggression and unwarranted bully-like piss taking. I look at both the globe argument and the FE side and (with my fairly recent knowledge on the subject) BOTH arguments have validity. It's a real tough one to call? Every one of them kills off flat earthers, but they just invoke the only response possible and suggest that they are all faked. The ISS which orbits the Earth and can be seen doing so, had a 24hr real-time coverage video running the whole time for years on end. To suggest there is magical software capable of doing this is just absurd. The film gravity took months just for small sections and modelled its video on actual footage. One thing NEVER noted on any of these videos is that we often see the camera do a complete 360 scan and lo and behold there is no complete flat Earth, just a segment of the circle. Good to see you've joined and decided your first post should be one supporting 'space' As you're now here and obviously think you live on a ball would you perhaps care to tell me why the constellations above us (specifically the polar star) have never changed position in thousands and thousands of years despite us travelling at immense unimaginable speeds through the void....The Earth, NASA tells me, travels around the sun at 66, 666 mph (where have I seen that number before?). The Sun (our solar system) rotates around the center of the Milky Way at beween 420, 000 and 540, 000 mph. Finally, it is believed that the Milky Way is traveling or moving around a "local group" of galaxies at 2, 237, 000 mph. Doesn't make sense to me.
