I love these, its convenient that it's in focus at the bottom of the screen but out of focus near the horizon and depending on the magnification depends on your field of view, so yeh they are probably sending rockets into the sea I think it's called a ballistic missile test

So your saying this is a manned rocket, it is obviously traveling in an arc and coming down, you have stated your not good at math or science I think you can add observational ability and logic to the list, it wouldn't be a ballistic missile test by any chance, that is of course it's not a bullshit picture to start with Edited January 12, 2022 by peter

Firstly it's nice to see you back BC Yes I've read about this but something don't ring true, I find it strange that they never go straight up & why don't we have any genuine pictures of Satellites ? Hiya.. I can't vouch for the photos. But if the Rockets are putting something into orbit, then just going straight up makes no sense at all.. The reason rockets never go straight up is obvious: Because they can't go straight up because of the lack of atmosphere at higher altitudes and the rocket hasn't got anything to push against and so it bends. We can't put anything into space. Nothing gets past the firmament.

We can't put anything into space. Nothing gets past the firmament. Rockets don't fly by pushing against air. The ejection of the exhaust at high velocity causes the reactive force. There is no firmament, this is a made up biblical story. Rockets have been blasting off into space for 70 years with no problems.

RobSS
DUALITY - Round vs. Flat It's quite funny following this thread because it illustrates the nature of duality so well. One way of looking at things is like a child. Does a child care whether the earth is round or flat? A child may not even be aware of the question, and yet, the reality and innate happiness of the child still goes round and round, flatly and boldly going to where it's never been before, ready for the next day. Flat and round all at the same time, and the circle is squared! When I first started reading this thread and for some time, I felt vexed because the world is round, aint it? But midway through, I thought we only know what we're told and whet our brain tells us, but who really knows and does it matter? "The brain may be regarded as a kind of parasite of the organism, a pensioner, as it were, who dwells with the body." - Arthur Schopenhauer Edited January 14, 2022 by RobSS

We can't put anything into space. Nothing gets past the firmament. If rockets work by pushing against the atmosphere (which they don't),on a flat earth they should be able to go straight to the firmament due to the fact that the atmosphere is enclosed ,there is no gravity and therefore there should be the same atmospheric pressure at every level up to the firmament due to density( which there clearly isn't). This nonsensical argument about rockets was brought up in the original thread rockets can't propel in space which morphed in yet another FE thread and here it is again Edited January 14, 2022 by peter
