In spring the sky at night is the same as the sky at night in autumn.

How the f does that happen in the heliocentric world?

scenario

Spring night time we are facing outter space , with the sun in the opposite direction.

6 months later, the earth rotates around to the opposite side of the Sun, face the opposite way to Spring but still sees the same stars

wtf is that ???

That is an extremely low quality time lapse scene.

Show me a clear high quality video zoomed in to this 'receding Sun'..

Here is another timestamped....

Show me a video this clear and zoomed in, to show this 'receding Sun' you speak of..

Like this short video.

To see it at sea level is nearly impossible. You will have much better luck if the shot is taken at a higher altitude. This is one way we can take all the atmospheric problems over water out of the picture. That is what I have been trying to show you. The resolution is fine on my comp, ftr.

I love the mainstream narrative for this one.

This video DOES NOT show me a clear high res video of this 'receding Sun'..

The only Sun I saw disappeared behind a dark background / horizon.

Yet again you have not provided evidence that shows your claims.

Explain why the video Odds posted is fake.

So do I, they are very, very, very far away. It's called parallax.  Some stars move very slightly.

BTW: It is most certainly not a mainstream narrative. Every astronomer on Earth can work this one out. Their telescopes need adjusting as the relative positions move for closer stars, albeit a very tiny amount. These would be people who view the planets all spinning around. Radio hams bounce signals off the Moon - 240,000 miles.

How come none of you people ever tell us how far away the Sun and Moon is?

I have shown a zoomed in video of the sun set, cannot be refuted. Only a seriously dishonest person would attempt to try.

Amy G got a camera & did the same in the last thread debunking heself in the process.

Tons of examples of zoomed in suns out there...only a very lame person would try to deny this.

I just showed this to a few people and they said it was clear. Let's hope this works for you...

We see this over and over at altitude. The best days are clear and when the air is dry.

And his video isn't fake. That is commonly seen by everyone from that perspective and in that type of environment.

ahh what a weaving bobbing twirling swirling mess it is but the sky at night is solid

But your reply has no relevance to your 2d disc moon & doesnt prove a flat earth either. So you are admitting you pulled it out your arse again. Thankyou!

If you read my comment after I quoted BFlats post earlier, I BROUGHT UP.. youll see I also question how the stars move in the sky.. but am not an astronomer, astro psychicist or even into astrotheology either & dont pretend to be.

Why is this ? (2nd time of asking)

This above GIF does not show me anything clearly just like the previous GIFs and the video you provided.

Why can you not show me the Sun receding over the sea?

By you.

How can the Moon be visible with the same face from opposite sides of the Southern hemisphere (picture on the ceiling - lol) but be inverted when viewed from opposite hemispheres?

How far away is the Sun?

How far away is the Moon?

What is this? You are posting a gif showing the light from the sun blooming in multiple images and then deceptively suggesting that the Sun diminishes accordingly. It does not and never has done. My eyes and the eyes of everyone on planet Earth see the same size everywhere, at midday and at sunset and sunrise. How far away is it when closest and how far away is it when it suddenly disappears full size? Same with the Moon.  Can you explain how views of the Moon simultaneously from South America and Southern Africa are obviously completely different and in answer to your ridiculous picture on the ceiling claim, can you tell me why they don't both see the Moon different ways up?

I eagerly await anyone giving a decipherable answer to this. @zArk, 2d Moon? No phases and then it would be oval shaped as it moves away. Absurd claim.

If there are any fence sitters at all, any (and I sure hope there aren't), ask yourself this:

Why don't any of these people answer dead obvious posts like this one quoted?

Fence sitters? Read this thread, page 1 just closes the whole thing.

i suppose after your first 8 guesses you are now settled on the 93million ????

how come you people havent found the curve ?

you think that you can stare one way and see a night sky then turn the other way (180million miles on a planet 8,000 miles diameter) and see the same night sky?

How far away is the Moon.

How far away is the Sun.

Asked countless times by many different people here.

2 very reasonable questions.

The one that boats disappear over ?

The one the Sun goes behind when it sets ?

That curve ?

That curve ?

thats not curve.

horizon is a visual effect which is always eyelevel

a proper experiment proving the curve is sadly lacking.

theres proper experiments showing flatness
