I'll try a different and more simple question.

When I sit somewhere high and I watch the Sun set, I see it literally disappear down under the horizon.

I comprehend the World rolling / spinning away from the Sun.

On an FE model - why am I seeing this when in an FE model the Sun is always above us..?

Anyone ?

You need to view this on very clear days. The idea that the sun sets because we are falling backwards on a sphere should be long gone.

If you can get past the algorithms, you can find the above all over the place.

That's beautiful.

Reminds me of Nigel Stamfords Timescapes music video I have tucked away for chill out and recharge moments.

The Sun and Moon do not recede.

Watch the video Odds posted.

I have witnessed this exact same thing in exactly the same way 100s and 100s of times in my life. From all angles and corners of this Realm.

The Sun is (measurably) exactly the same size (and speed) across the sky at all times.

Whats your point?

And why the childish thing with the eyes

Got nothing better to do?

I think he's hinting that you should have a look at the video.

I just did.

It's superb.

I just showed you that that is not so. On the best days we see exactly what the sun does.

You don't see the size change clearly?

That is an extremely low resolution GIF.

Show me a very high res video of the mythical receding Sun or Moon.

What is this? You are posting a gif showing the light from the sun blooming in multiple images and then deceptively suggesting that the Sun diminishes accordingly. It does not and never has done. My eyes and the eyes of everyone on planet Earth see the same size everywhere, at midday and at sunset and sunrise. How far away is it when closest and how far away is it when it suddenly disappears full size? Same with the Moon.  Can you explain how views of the Moon simultaneously from South America and Southern Africa are obviously completely different and in answer to your ridiculous picture on the ceiling claim, can you tell me why they don't both see the Moon different ways up?

I eagerly await anyone giving a decipherable answer to this. @zArk, 2d Moon? No phases and then it would be oval shaped as it moves away. Absurd claim.

I have watched the sun set many times over Lake Huron...absolutely beautiful...BUT it does not get smaller, It stays huge.

You could say those squiggly bits are due to the ball earth orbiting the sun. If you wanted to...

I don't see how you can say that. Can you explain yourself?

The bottom half of the blades weren't visible with your eyes because of the distance. The Nikon camera in the previous video of the boat & buoy showed this. From the beach nothing in the distance was visible, but once the camera zoomed in there they were.

This goes back to the claim that the horizon in the mainstream narrative is physical.

The fact that cameras show these objects clearly disproves that notion.

Most days yes, and this is do to many factors. This is why these observations can only be made under the best conditions.

It is not like it sets because we are falling backwards one day, but then on clear days it simply recedes and does appear smaller as it does. That is just the facts.

What Zark is saying is the moon is flat 2d & above our heads rather than in the distance.

The perspective you describe viewing the moon would not be round but like a disc & you would never see any moon phases or lunar eclipse.

What gets me is how you all agree with this, like theres no debate amongst you people. No matter how ridiculous the theory.

You can zoom in on the moon with a camera or telescope & clearly see the terrain & shadows.

So when the creator decided to put this 2d flat disc in the ceiling, that looks precisely like a sphere & the sun clearly shines on like a sphere. What was the purpose of this lunacy? Answers on a post card @zArk

@zArk I clearly demonstrated evidence of the curve a few pages back with the drone footage & the fact the suns diameter never changes when it falls below the horizon. There is no vanishing point or difference of perspective.

Thats just another cheap trick

Haha

First you find a place where the sun sets and there are hills on the horizon. Note it must not be a flat plane. If it is,the cheap trick will not work

As the drone camera rises you look over those hills to see an extra few seconds of sun

Another miserable debunking failure

Can you please expand on this as this makes no sense in it's present form.

The sun recedes, we are not falling backwards, and on the perfect days we can all see this.
